Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma recently addressed a worrying series of incidents involving his cafe in Surrey, Canada. Kap’s Cafe, which he owns overseas, was in the news this year after three separate firing incidents took place at the location. Despite the gravity of the situation, Kapil had maintained silence until now. At the trailer launch of his upcoming film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, the actor finally broke his silence and shared his thoughts on what happened.

Speaking about the repeated firing, Kapil said, "Teen baar waha pe firing hui. Maybe jo mujhe lagta hai, I think wahan ke jo rules hai, police ke paas shayad itni powers nahi hai ke woh uss chiz ko control kar paaye. But, uske baad jab hamare yeh case hua, toh yeh case federal mein chala gaya. Jaise hamare yaha central government hoti hai, waha Canada ke parliament mein uske upar charcha hui. Mujhe lagta jo upar wala karta hai uske peeche ki jo kahani hoti hai, hum nahi samajh paate." His statement reflects both concern and faith, as he hinted at believing that some events remain beyond human understanding.

Kapil also shared that after the news broke, many people reached out to tell him that similar incidents were not new in that area. However, because his cafe came into focus after the firing, law and order authorities have now taken the situation seriously and begun making improvements. The heightened attention has prompted stronger action from the police and federal authorities.

Despite the unsettling episodes abroad, Kapil emphasised that he has always felt safe in India, especially in Mumbai. Praising the city’s security, he said, "Main kabhi Mumbai mein aur apni country mein kabhi unsafe feel nahi karta. Hamari Mumbai police jaisa koi bhi nahi hai. Jitni baar goli chali waha pe, uske baad aur badi opening lagi hamare cafe mein. So, upar wala saath hai toh thik hai. Har Har Mahadev."

With the investigation now at a federal level and security measures being strengthened, Kapil remains optimistic and grateful for the support he has received.
