Pandya Store Daily Scene Request Thread - No Comments Please

Feel free to add in your requests as well. I will be posting my daily requests here.

Just a few some rules:

1. Let’s avoid commenting on this thread. This way we can have a running list. We can discuss these scenes in the other threads.

2. Please keep the Scene/Drabble as short as possible (1500 word limit). Otherwise, it’ll become an OS.

3. Feel free to write about any member of the Pandya family or other important characters on the show!

4. Please refrain from discussing actors and their offscreen relationships. These stories are just about the characters they play onscreen.

5. Let’s keep in mind the forum rules and make sure we adhere to them. But at the same time, have fun and get creative!!!

July 16th, 2021:

Shiva & Raavi return from Maami’s house. Not too much drama happens but Maami does make some comments about Shiva and how wonderful it would be if someone like Dev came to her house with her bacchi. Raavi knows this time Maami’s words did hurt Shiva. She doesn’t get the chance to speak to her Maasi because Shiva is her priority.

She tries to speak to him but he shuts her down. At night, Raavi wakes up to find her bed empty. She finds Shiva sitting outside on the porch in deep thought. Raavi places her hand on his shoulder. Believing her to be Dhara, Shiva wraps his arms around her and tells her how much he tries to not let anyone’s words affect him but they do. He looks up and see Raavi. Pulling away, he tries to leave when she stops him and sits down.

They sit in silence for a long time until finally Shiva speaks up. He talks about a time he dropped her to college. At the gate, some of her friends see her with him. She quickly gets off his bike and goes inside.

On the way, one of her books fall from her bag and Shiva notices it. Despite being annoyed, he decides to return her book since she has an exam coming up for that class.

Once inside, he sees her talking to a bunch of her friends. Even though he is a distance away, he can hear her complaining about him to her friends. Not wanting to create a scene, he leaves her book with security.

Raavi is horrified to know he overheard her that day. She tries to explain that she got angry when her friends were being mean. No one else can say those things about him. But Shiva just smiles sadly and tells her this is how things have always been. She shouldn’t feel obligated to get upset now simply because he is her husband. Too bad she’s stuck with him. Raavi feels sad and angry at his words. Before she can say anything, he leaves.

Raavi sits in silence for a few minutes and heads inside. Once inside the room, Shiva taunts her for keeping her blanket on his side and tosses it away. They have another one of their usual arguments. Shiva ends the night convinced nothing will change while Raavi is hurt and wonders how things will ever change if they keep fighting like this.

July 17th, 2021

Raavi sees Shiva working all day and wonders how Bhootnath doesn’t get tired. Suddenly, she notices him wincing as he puts down a heavy sack. Raavi feels a bit guilty for sitting all day while he does the heavy lifting.

She walks up to him and offers to help. He makes a comment about how such labor work is meant for him. Not a Sethani like her. Raavi pouts and walks away. 😆

At night, she notices Shiva tossing and turning, unable to sleep. She wakes him up and asks him to remove his vest (much to his horror). He refuses, they argue and she challenges him that he’s scared because his body isn’t like Ranveer Singh (interesting na... Dev is Ranbir & Shiva is Ranveer I personally find the latter hotter tho I’m not a fan of either).

Shiva immediately takes off his vest and Raavi can’t help but stare. She stops and giggles when she catches Shiva blushing. Checking for wounds on his back, she takes care of them and applies a warm compress on his back. As she leans closer, both become aware of their proximity. Shiva moves away and tells her he’s okay now.

Raavi puts away the compress and is about to lay down when she notices a chipkali. Screaming she falls on Shiva who winces in pain. They banter and he tells her to stop caring for his wounds, especially if she plans to reopen them again. She tries to apologize and feels guilty. He turns his back and Raavi wonders when Shiva will agree to open up to her & give her a chance to show her side of things. She falls asleep dreaming about their childhood for the third time in a week.

The next morning, she approaches Gaumbi and asks him if Shiva can take the day off. Gaumbi smiles and agrees. Shiva tries to protest but Raavi tells him she needs to go to the doctor. He agrees right away but tries to not give away how worried he is. Raavi smiles as she comes up with a plan in her head.

July 18th, 2021:

DevTa and ShiVi go out shopping. While the girls head to the makeup section, Dev pulls Shiva aside to show him a bracelet he wants to buy for Rishita. Shiva hesitantly wonders if he should get something for Raavi. He picks up a necklace with a simple but classy half moon pendant, unsure if this is something she will wear.

Dev, after finally settling on a bracelet for Rishita chuckles next to him. He tells Shiva this pendant is too simple and girls like shiny jewelry. Dev picks out a more intricate neckpiece and shows it to Shiva. He tells him that Raavi would definitely like this and he should get it.

Shiva, a bit upset tells him to drop the idea all together and that MKBKB doesn’t need gifts from him. Dev insist that they buy gifts for both of their wives. How will Raavi feel when Rishita gets her gift? He asks out loud.

Shiva reluctantly buys the necklace. A part of him can’t stop thinking about the difference between the two pieces. Maybe that’s why Raavi wants someone like Dev. He couldn’t even pick a proper gift for her. Still a part of him wondered if she would like the pendant. Something about that piece stood out to him in a store full of shiny and loud jewelry. There was a strange appeal to it .

The brothers walk towards the door when Shiva feels restless and uncomfortable. He asks Dev to wait outside and goes back in.

The four do some more shopping and head home after an early dinner. In the evening, Shiva hesitantly looks at the necklace Dev forced him to buy. He hates how shiny and flashy it is. There is no reason to give it a second look. But if it’s Raavi choice, so be it. He keeps it on the bedside table, hoping to avoid Raavi’s questioning look as to why he got her a gift.

Shiva reaches in his pocket and pulls out the pendant that caught his eye earlier. A lone tear escapes as he acknowledges that Raavi will never wear something so simple.

He caressed the piece and keeps it hidden inside the cupboard, with no intention of ever giving it to her.

The next morning he wakes up to find the necklace beside the side table missing from its spot. A bitter laugh escapes his throat as he prepares himself for a long day.

After taking a shower, he walks back into his room to see Raavi holding the pendant with a smile on her face. She looks up at him and her eyes light up instantly. Shiva is shocked as she twirls around him in happiness yelling how much she loves his surprise. Raavi tells Shiva that she saw a similar piece a long time back but wasn’t sure if it would suit her. Since then, she regrets not getting it. She pulls him into a hug, thanking him over and over while Shiva stands rooted to the spot.
