Pandya Store Daily Scene Request Thread - No Comments Please - Page 3

There was a good amount of discussion on Rishita and it reminded me of something I had wanted for Raavi Rishita bond. I had wanted them to be friends- not the usual friendship but the kind of friends who would not hesitate to tell you your mistakes in front of everyone and yet always have your back. The kind of friends with whom you can be snarky and frustrated yet they would calmly take all your mood swings . Rishita and Raavi are two polar opposites as girls yet their married life situations have fair amount of similarities for such a relation to blossom. I had thought of how it would all start.

Rishita is on the terrace( no idea if they have one just assuming) after another row in the house over Janardhan insulting Gaumbi . Dev had been furious and told Rishita that now there can never be any ties between her mayka and sasuraal. Rishita's temper had flared at such and she had answered back that her father did wrong to the family so did her bua, but what about her mother and sister? Can't she even talk to them. Dev had walked away angrily and Rishita found herself in the terrace.

"Painful isn't it?," She heard Raavi and told her to back off she does not want to talk and she can't even understand what she is going through. Raavi sits beside her. "Maami , kangan, Shiva; rings a bell? I don't think anyone nearby can understand you as well as I can right now." Her words jolt Rishita. It is true. Raavi is in a fairly similar situation as hers.

" But we accept gifts from maami and she also comes to the functions."

"Hmm at times I think it would be better if she doesn't. Each time she comes she makes matters worse insulting Dhara didi or provoking Shiva leaving everyone in foul mood."

Rishita looks at her wide eyed . Raavi rolls her eyes and says that she loves her maasi - she is the only mother Raavi has known but she can admit that her maasi behaviour with Pandya family is obnoxious. She has told her several times to not interfere in family matters but to no avail.

Rishita chuckled bitterly why we do have such relations between our mayka and sasuraal- what a way to bond. Raavi smiles. Rishita looks at her and finally breaks down saying that she knows her family did so much wrong to Pandyas but it is not easy to cut ties from the family that raised you with so much love. Everything hurts. Raavi side hugs her and says that everything will be better with time; till then we will have each other.

Krish comes home from college after the bathroom drama. He was silent and settled on his cot. Raavi took her seat beside him and offered him chocolate having some herself. She asked him why he is upset. He says as if she doesn't know- Rishita bhabi was so angry today and she would definitely take her anger out on Dev. Krish continued that he knew he made a big mistake but it was unintentional and would never be repeated. Raavi side hugs him and tells him she knows he did not do anything intentionally and Rishita knows too. Rishita being angry was justified because of the situation. She asks Krish that problem is solved by Dev and tells him to concentrate on his exams. Dev and Rishita can handle each others anger alright.

Krish tells her that he is finding the subjects difficult despite Dhara helping him. He wasted a lot of time without studying and he wouldn't be able to complete last minute. Raavi stops him from being so hopeless and tells him to bring his books alongwith previous year questions. She helps him out with his doubts. By the end of it Krish was back to his own self. He hugs Raavi saying thank you repeatedly and then claims she is the best. She cam take up teaching actually.

Later Raavi is back in her room. She is lost in her thoughts. Shiva comes to the room. Raavi stops him and he says he did not want to talk with her then. As he was leaving Raavi tells him she wants to do tuitions of school children. Shiva stops and asks why she thought this suddenly; didn't she want to work in the store? Raavi says that the store doesn't really need her right now and the family is in need of money; she wants to do her own bit too.

Shiva stares at her for some time. Meanwhile Raavi is surprised that shiva has not straightaway told no. Shiva says,"social science and english." Raavi makes a confused face. Shiva says that she should do tuitions in those two subjects. He remembers she used to help him ( he claims it was never wanted or asked for) in those two subjects in the week before exams and he could get decent marks. So she should be able to conduct tuitions for those two subjects well. Raavi looks at him with a mixture of awe and happiness that he said yes and he still remembers those study sessions.

Okay since we are all so frustrated here goes nothing.

Rishita was angrily chopping the potatoes. Raavi stops her and does the chopping herself asking her why she is so angry. The thin strand of her patience snapped. Why are you not angry? Yesterday Krish barged into the bathroom. It could have been you instead of me. And all our husbands can see is their Dhara Bhabi. Why the hell did the brothers marry? They may be the best sons and brothers but they are the worst husbands.

"Ayy Patrani," came Suman's voice. Suman tells Rishita off for trying to instigate Raavi and would have continued. However she is stopped by Raavi saying that Rishita is not wrong.

Both Rishita and Suman are shocked. Neither expected Raavi to speak. Raavi continues that she is very happy with Dhara di getting a new room but Rishita wants her husband to give her her due importance as his wife. It is not wrong to expect that. Suman had nurtured Gombi and Gombi gives both his wife and mother their due place in his life. Why can't they expect the brothers to do the same?She cannot ask it of Shiva because of circumstances of their marriage and maybe she would never get the status of wife ever but at least Dev should give that haq to Rishita.

Rishita spoke up why shiva would not give her status of wife. They were married with consent and should have basic respect for each other and for their marriage.

Suman pondered on their words and realised that they were right in their place too. Both the girls want their rightful place in the life of their husbands. One is demanding it while the other does not think she would ever get it so why to fight. It is high time she talks to her sons

Rishita looked at Raavi confused asking her how come Maa did not get angry at them. Raavi told her Maa would listen to them alright but Rishita needed to keep her temper in check and frame her words better. "Gussa naak mai rehta hai..kuch bhi bol jaanti ho."

( Despite certain remarks of Suman being misogynist, I do believe she is a strong woman who would not have taken such behaviour from her husband. Further she sees her sons giving her daughter in law the status of their mother. She is aware somewhat of the need to be given equal importance unlike Dhara who has always been number 1 in the lives of brothers. So I think Suman would relate to this better than Dhara)

The entire family is in the aangan. They were segregating old things which to keep which to throw away. Rishita found the school things of the brothers. She sees report cards of Dev and exclaims that he was so hard working in childhood too - he has got such excellent grades. Then she sees a beautiful project depicting Pandya store and tells Dev that she did not know he was so good at crafts to make this project.

That belongs to Shiva not Dev- came the voice of Raavi. Shiva looks astonished that she remembers. Dhara voices the question in everyone's minds- that is true Raavi but how are you so sure of it?

Dhara di, in the entire school career, this was the only project Shiva was enthusiastic about. We had to make a model or presentation of what we want to do in future. Shiva had made this model of Pandya store- See here is the door, this is meant to be Kaka, this is Gombi, these figurines are the customers. It was always Shiva's dream to work in Pandya store and see it flourishing.

Rishita asks Raavi confused how she knows what each figurine meant.

Krish replies she would know she was the one who helped him with it. She came to give ladoo to Dev; saw Shiva working hard and sat down to help him. They ate the ladoos too. Neither Dev nor I got any ladoo completed Krish sadly.

Shiva says- Ay Krish she did not help anything.She was just .. He got interrupted by Raavi- I was the one who coloured the entire thing. You could not have given the right colouring for the life of you. It would have looked so much better if you had allowed me to fix the origami trees I made but no..She stopped suddenly seeing the trees were there but she remembered clearly that he did not want the trees since there were no trees in the real Pandya store. But he still put it there because she said? She looked towards him. He seemed a bit flustered and looked away. Raavi smiled ; so he did put it because she said.

Dev, Shiva and Krish were busy building the room. Gautam and Dhara had gone to the store. Rishita and Raavi brought the brothers food. Rishita was trying to talk to Dev and he was busy ignoring her. Finally she asked if they could go to the market -she felt like dust allergy with all the construction work ( also thinking some alone time would help sort their differences). Dev suddenly burst out that all Rishita knew was to demand things; even now she wanted to go shopping.

Rishita went away sadly. As she sat alone, she was joined by Raavi. Rishita looked at her and said this was the longest Dev ever remained angry on her. Raavi side hugged her saying with time it would be alright. Rishita asked her if she was alright; Shiva and her were really awkward and distant. Raavi replied looking at a distance that this was routine for them. Anyways if she wants, they both could go shopping. Rishita perked up but then said no- she can't spend more money. Raavi smirked, "ever heard of window shopping?" A slow smile spread on Rishita's face.

Rishita and Raavi went to the market together. They saw dresses, jewellery, make up kits- they had quite different tastes but they could appreciate what each of them found beautiful. Finally as they were about to go, Raavi pulled Rishita to chaat shop and said Rishita has to try it; it is Raavi's favorite . As they ate, they chatted about movies, songs, fashion trends. As Raavi completed her chaat, she saw Rishita was close to tears. She asked worriedly what happened. Rishita hugged her saying she used to do all this with Kirti; she missed Kirti so much. But for the first time today she felt she had another sister too. Raavi hugged her back smiling.

Wanted to see more of Suman-Raavi scene❤️

So let us assume Raavi gets to know about Maagin and Oily, she is heartbroken and sad on finally getting to know about the reality of her family. She sits down in her room and starts venting out everything in her diary about how much embarrassment and hurt she is facing because of these two and still they continue to always create some chaos in her life. Writing this, she also gets into thinking about her parents and wonders why they left her when she was so young. She keeps questioning them as to how life would have been so beautiful if they had been with her. She breaks down thinking about her parents, Maagin and Oily's behaviour and feels she is still an orphan inspite of having such a loving family with her here. Suman who passes by Shivi's room hears everything comes and consoles Raavi. She tells her to be strong and face the reality and also tells her never to think she is an orphan, now that she has such a big family with her. She tells her she has been her kaki all these years but from now on she wishes to be her Ma. We can finally see Raavi calling Suman Ma. Adding to this scene we can even have Raavi tell Suman about the turmoil in her relation with Shiva. Suman has always given the best advice to Shivi and am sure she would help Raavi take the right step towards Shiva. We have all wanted to see Suman-Shiva conversation but I wish we get to see Suman Raavi scenes too.

Shiva sleeps after telling Raavi to go to sleep. Raavi could not sleep with all her exasperation about Shiva being too difficult to understand then she sees broken pieces of her bangles strewn around. Bhootnath kahinka- she says look at Shiva while getting up from bed to take care of the mess. Heck he broke quite a lot of her bangles- her favourite multicoloured ones were broken too. Raavi had always tried to match bangles to her outfit- she loved them. And Shiva ko koi farak hi nahi padta- kyun bhi padega; purane cheezein pakadke baithna hai bas. Yeh Sneha aur woh diary dono ne meri zindagi mein problems ki line lambi kardi she huffed out while she cleaned mess on the floor.

Next morning as she got ready to take Dhara di out of the house, she looked at her bangle stand wistfully- so many were broken. That green one would have gone so well with this dress. Or her multi coloured ones that went with almost all her outfits. She did not want to wear mismatched bangles so she skipped warning bangles that day.

In the evening after they had gifted Gaura their new room, Raavi came back to her room. She saw new bangles on her stand and another set wrapped in paper on the dressing table. She opened it to find another multi colored bangle set- this was prettier than even the previous ones. Shiva was lost in her pretty smile enough to light up the room. Raavi looked at him raising her eyebrows.

Bachpan se dekha hai; chudiyaan ke liye pagal thi. Aaj pehli baar kalaaiyan sunni dekhi toh yaad aaya ki kal maine tod diye the. Iss liye le aaya- he said gruffly and went away.

Raavi smiled- bhootnath notice bhi karta hai aur farak bi padta hai.

If Dhara let's get three bandars sleep in her room, I want Gaura to sleep in Devta room and Rishita- Raavi to share the store room.( this idea was already mentioned by somebody previously - I am using it to give a Rishvi conversation. )

As Rishita and Raavi lie down to sleep, Raavi notices that Rishita is a bit sad and asks her. Rishita replies dejectedly that she would never be the daughter in law maa wants. She cannot take care of the household; even Raavi herself was screaming during the lunch preparation( she says the last line in a complaining and slightly angry voice) . Raavi apologizes saying that she was worried seeing Rishita about to get a shock and then she was frustrated with all the work piling up and maa being angry on top of it. Despite this, she should not have screamed at Rishita- she knows right that Raavi sometimes goes overboard in her temper. Even Dhara di had become angry last time. And cooking cleaning ability does not matter- Rishita is family. She does not need to work to be a part of it. She can learn if she wants to help but that is not a compulsion or condition to be a daughter in law.

Rishita continues- why did Dev love me Raavi? He wants a reflection of Dhara bhabhi in his wife yet he fell for me. Now he expects me to turn a new leaf. I cannot Raavi. I am Rishita not Dhara. Rishita sounded so forlorn and dejected that Raavi pulled her into an embrace. She assures her that Rishita need not be Dhara. Dev loves her for who she is. For the brothers, Dhara is the ideal they want their wives to live up to but with time they will learn to accept their wives for who they are too. Dev loves her; he would not actually want Rishita to change no matter what he says. Rishita just needs to word her indignation better to put her point across - otherwise she is already in their team.

Rishita looks at Raavi- you know Shiva said the same statement too. She continues in an excited voice - your love story would be so filmy Raavi; childhood enemies to lovers . Raavi shakes her head- love story? Shiva does not even look at me. He hasn't even talked to me properly after the diary incident. Rishita says- oh please, he couldn't take his eyes off you in the reception party; he was so happy when you finally came back after the kangan incident; he sure has started liking you.

"Rishita stop overthinking and let's go to sleep." Yet Raavi keeps pondering on Rishita's words for a long time.

I wouldn’t mind watching Raavi and Shiva (individually) coming up with ways to sabotage the plans made by the family to unite them. This leads to them finding themselves in each other’s company in ways they never expected. Each sabotage connects to a childhood memory and ends up resulting in a civil conversation. The conversations soon shift from civil to meaningful. They find reasons to laugh, reminisce and are forced to face uncomfortable questions as well. There is of course a slight competition as they challenge one another to see who can sabotage the plan better.

They begin texting each other regularly as well. Shiva mentions what Krish and Rishita are secretly planning while Raavi tells him about what she overhears Gaumbi and Dhara whispering in the market.

There comes a time the family finally gives up and stops this mission, believing they have failed. With no more plans to sabotage, ShiVi realize that they no longer have a reason to see one another and have no excuse to have the conversations that were slowly becoming the highlight of their days. Both are left unnerved by this development and have no idea how to proceed.
