YES YES TRUE. He can nail those scenes so well--that look of vulnerability, rawness, falling apart becomes so evident in his expressions and dialogue delivery, it doesn't look dramatic or anything because that's not how people emote in real life. He mentioned the fact several times that he always tries to understand a character arc before he portrays it: how he might've been like growing up, why is he the way he is, why does he say or do certain things etc. so he can emote better. I really like the method, maybe that's why his acting doesn't look forced and appears very natural.
