Betaaaaa Ishqiiiiii everyone on earth is getting your point but if Ahaan is ready to marry the pool for you why on earth you can't marry a tree? Obviously self respect Zindabad ✋ but what about respecting the feelings of others. I am sorry but this is my genuine opinion. Even I don't support a bulshitt ritual like this but if you ask me to do something because that's the wish of my mother or grandmother I will do that. Often we don't like to visit some relatives but when mom or grandmother says chalo beta, woh log bura man Jayenge, bas thodi der bethke aajana we do agree to go right? It's not about 1921 or 2021 🤪 It's about your family Jo Kal bhi important Hai aur Aaj bhi important Hai aur 2050 mein bhi rahenge ✋ Modern sooch k Naam pe Har emotions ka dhajjia nehi uda sakte hum. 😡

Ok sorry.... I got carried away... But I genuinely believe this. May be I belong to old school but that's not a crime I believe 🤓

I know we should NOT encourage such rituals but there is a reason behind customs prevailing over law in our law books. Why both can't co-exist... You take one step, I will take another. Ultimately marriage is all about adjustments and compromises.

Ishqi's dialogues were hilarious but Ahaan's dialogues were his reality. We often blame the man who is a sandwich between SaaS-Bahu but we don't try to understand how difficult it is for the man to balance.

I agree with u on every point but not on this one because being a girl I can imagine what would ishqi feel when she's told to marry a tree.

She would have felt insulted and humiliated, and all the point kept by ishqi were right

When I look back , i feel bad for my father . He tolerated a lot.

Mere khyal se dono ko mil ke tree and pool se shadi karleni chahiye as compromise ... lol

I tbh , agree with u ,alot of times we do harmless(Kabhi Kabhi harmful too) extras just to keep our family happy. And if the other person is ready to take that extra mile for u , if ahaan didn't have problem marrying to pool for ishqi , I don't think ishqi should have it either. So I'm Indian but not Hindu hence i can safely say that I won't be in an Ishqi situation. But let's answer this for what the actual matter really is. Doing something that matters a lot more to someone else than yourself!

Compromise is the name of the game. Be it family, marriage, relationships et al and we do it everyday. What we do is find a middle ground that makes sense to us in order to do what needs to be done. So i agree with ahaan when he said "tum mazaak samajh ke karlo" he was giving her the middle ground!

In the other nothing is guaranteed but that moment of happiness or peace for the other person is worth it.

If I was in Ishqi's place what would I hv done ? I hv been asking myself dt since the promo aired.

Honestly even I don't believe in Kundali and all dt . But inspite of dt... ..... I would hv done it. Like Ahaan or Maasi said.....it's just a ritual like any other. When we go through thousands of rituals for marriage then what is another one ?

Other than dt......I might not believe in dt but the guys parents or guardians believe in dt and can't we do a small thing just for everyone's peace of mind and for the one you love and his safety. Yes I also belong to old school n I can also marry a tree, a dog or goat or anything for my loved ones. Now I am getting serious doubt about me being a ladki 🤔 Because I am not getting how doing a ritual like marrying a tree can hurt your self respect and make you feel humiliated. However I do RESPECT your opinion 👍🏼 She is not marrying another living human being. We do worship trees so it's more like a Puja than marriage. She will just take 7 pheras around the tree like parikrama type which we do during puja. Konsa Sindoor pehnegi, Mangalsutra pehnegi. 😕
