The only reason I'm asking is as I'm getting fever after 48hrs of my vacation n everywhere I read one is supposed to get in 24 hours so now I'm wondering whether I shd book myself a covid test.

But that would mean standing in queue in govt hospital cos where I sta0y private lab does not do it.

I took the first dose of Pfizer a week ago and I had zero side effects to the point I completely forgot about it until someone asked me about it the next day.

Pfizer and Moderna can have flu like symptoms as side effects, can start anytime and go up to 10 days or 14 days, fairly common but not unmanageable. Just treat with Tylenol or ibuprofen as needed.

Side effects of vaccine for me are checking the cowin website like a maniac 3-4 times a day, only to find there are no slots available for the next few weeks. 👎🏼

Despite being a part of the privileged 1% of the country, I still do not get access to basic necessities. This situation has forced me to accept the reality that I am living in a third world country (of course, which was made 10x worse thanks to the incompetence of Modi and co).

1) covidshield

2) i had fever and headache for a day some of my classmates also suffered mild hand ache but those are common

4) a day or two after vaccination

all of these after first dose nothing after second

see the thing is that these mild sypmtoms are very common nothing to very about

plus they detain you for atleast half an hour after giving vaccination to see if there is an adverse affect but generally there isnt

Got the first dose of covishield last week. I had arm pain for 4-5 days and developed fever on the first day. I took the paracetamol the docs gave and I was better in a day.

Moderna 1st dose.

Side effects: Sore arm after about 2-3 hours of the jab, and excruciating shoulder blade pain that lasted for only about 4-5 days.

Go get vaccinated.
