LOL that actually just made me laugh....she was trying to say it with her "cute" wala face accompanied with her usual giggles like it's oh so cute to laugh over Imlie ke "tamaashe"😆.....Malini and reading the room? Aap kuch zyada nahin expect kar rahi Didi se?😆

Malini definitely tries in her subtle ways to relegate Imlie either to naukar status or to an object of ridicule.....isse nahin bardaasht hota that Imlie becomes the object of admiration vis a vis being praised for her confidence/poise. She can praise Imlie but only within the parameters that are acceptable to her....that Imlie is some childish crackpot who solves ghar ke random issues.....anything more than that which inches towards the perception that Imlie can praised on an "equal" scale as her, toh Malini's face falls....as was obvious with her reaction to the family praising Imlie for the PC.

Education is a great equalizer na....and as Imlie climbs the ladder of education, acquires the polish that comes with it, she will come into her own full potential...which will not just pull her up to the levels of Malini in terms of education/appearance, but move her much beyond that cuz she is a much more naturally dynamic personality destined to draw awe from people. I feel like Malini subtly senses all of this and is acting out because of that also....right now, no matter how much everyone praises Imlie in the family, her social standing remains below that of Malini na, so Malini is ok with participating along in that praise since it never feels like Imlie can be considered equal to her/better than her....but as Imlie is crossing milestones in her education - first with this exam, now moving onto college, Malini is feeling that sense of superiority slipping away from her subconsciously.....and it's revealing an unpleasant side to her personality of envy, pettiness towards a girl who has unconditionally given her adoration.

All of this is seperate from her resentment of Adi giving Imlie importance.....I think even without that, Malini is growing resentful of Imlie being viewed as anything other than a jhalli clown.....it is comfortable for her that Imlie be viewed as a joke...not something to take seriously....but that press conference challenged that perception as Imlie impressed everyone....and it gave Malini pause ki aise kaise ho sakta hai😆.

Absolutely it's a shame....but it would be an even bigger shame if the writers didn't unravel these past 7 years in some sense to address how they got to this point😆.....none of this is happening overnight or in a vacuum....Adi-Malini's inability to communicate with each other is a long standing issue that they have both avoided discussing directly. I honestly feel it's badly needed for Adi to address the fact that he's just been blindly apologizing to her for so long on autopilot without meaning it.....and why that has brought them to the mess they are in.

Malini asked him a lot of pointed questions in that convo that he needs to dwell on.....in the very least, the one regarding why he married her.....that demands introspection from him beyond whatever little he's done so far.

And yes, I agree that some kind of follow-up conversation is needed between Adi-Imlie after this.....I feel we just may get it in todays' epi.....let's see.

Oh totally, I noticed it in first watch too😆...Adi ko definitely usi baat ka bura lag raha tha ki Imlie is being sunaaoed by BK for something that wasn't her fault😆....aur woh chup chaap sunti jaa rahi thi rather than pointing out ki kiski galti thi😆

Isliye Babusahib directly burst out at Malini the moment she showed up....ki tumhari wajah se meri Imlie ko sunna pad raha hai😆

Wohi toh saara frustration ka vicious cycle hai is waqt....Adi is upset that Imlie is the type jo dusro ke liye khud hi peechhe hat jaati hai and doesn't demand her right....isliye he's going overboard trying to stick up for her rights....abhi ke liye he can only do it for the college admissions but this is all a symptom of a larger issue....he wants Imlie to get her due rights on everything....but Malini is ending up becoming a roadblock on every point😆 chaahe wittingly ya unwittingly....and yehi baat Adi ko wind up kar rahi hai....isliye woh gussa kal se lekar ghoom raha hai and aaj when he saw BK scolding Imlie toh he again couldn't take that injustice happening to Imlie😆....isliye Malini pe barsaa even if Malini has no clue ki uski wajah se Imlie ko BK sunaa rahe hain.....not that I think she'd have cared much even after that😆.

Today Malini asked ONE question which we all wanted to ask Adi "Aapne mujhse shaadi kyun ki?"

Kyun ki bhai Kyun ki? Seven years with this emossonal atyachar and you still wanted to marry her?? The fragile thing will break if the wind would blow a bit harsh and you think she would be an ideal partner for Aditya kumar Tripathi who in these span of few months has been shot, kidnapped, bitten by snake and married at gun point? But it was a good confrontation but we know it would have borne no results looking at the precap!!

But atleast it set the pace! and finally Didi has stopped brushing things under the carpet and Adi coming out in the open why he wouldnt share the "good news" with her as he is afraid of her fainting and his dear MIL shouting.

Babu saheb being babu saheb...the man seriously needs to have a multiple agenda in his day...har din ki shuruat ek agenda se karta hai and he forgets everything else...yesterday it was the interview...in the night it was "Imlie baitho aur khaana khao humare saath" then it was the form filling....the man is relentless unless that agenda is ticked off his "to do list". he rolls over everything else with a bull dozer...The Malini se shaadi disaster bhi ek agenda hi tha...jab tak tick nahi hua, he was all for marrying her...didnt faze even when he got his dulhaniya served to him on gun platter!!!🤣 Later on realizes....What did I do...

About the Tripathis, I dont know but I like them a lot...They are the simplest and pure hearted...they are more of Imlie types...treating everyone indiscriminately and thats why I am more worried about their reaction on knowing the truth than Didi's...Didi and her mother will rant and rave...it is Tripathis who would be bearing the brunt, guilt and hammering from the Cs.

I do hope he ponders over THE question that Malini asked him...ki kyun ki usse shaadi😆....HIGH time he gets to the real reason rather than the babbling about "Humne Malini ko chuna hai" that he did all that while when he insisted on marrying her😆......there was a lot of guilt and compulsion driving him there....he needs to accept that was what his relationship with Malini really was...never love.

I also keep coming back to Imlie's panic in the first scene....the lie is taking its toll on her too.

How tragic that she has gotten so used to hiding the truth that she has also now started fearing the truth....Adi in a sense feels liberated cuz he's stopped fearing the truth revelation...he feared it more before he realized his love for Imlie, but now he doesn't....and I guess in many ways he's passed that fear of the truth into Imlie in all the time he spent grilling her over it....cuz she can't shake it off anymore - iske mann mein ghar kar gaya hai woh sach ka darr. Poor thing :(

It's harder for Imlie also cuz she's used to putting others before herself....Adi is not😆. So I just feel the saddest for her ki woh darrti bhi hai ki sach baahar aake sabke rishte barbaad kar dega but at the same time, it is only with Adi that she finds a safe haven in this panic too. Stormy weather ahead for both of them....

Okay, pata hai pucchne ke pakka joote padenge 😃 but why is Malini expected to fill Imlie's forms. I mean didn't we all as 17-18 yr olds fill out our own admission forms likely with some help from parents/teachers/relatives. But my form and getting all documents together was my responsibility. So why the onus on Malini? Kuch nahi toh Adi khud kar leta. Raat ko thoda jaagke. I promise this is not in support of Malini or Malini jaap of any sort, just wondering why is Imlie jaisi honhar bacchi not responsible for her own admission form - with help.

Of course, being in Malini's college has the potential for revelations especially with Imlie's TC bearing her full married name. But aise hi, aaj ladne ka koi aur bahana dhoondh lete, hamari Imlie sar utha ke college ke raaste aage kooch karti rahe bas. 😃

The issue was not about filling out the forms. Malini didn’t even give the forms to Imlie so that they could begin filling them out.

Responsibility Malini ki cuz she took the onus of bringing the forms from her college. Until she hands over the form to Imlie, Imlie can’t do anything na. And she will need help with filling it out too coz the city is unfamiliar to her.

Baaki obviously Adi was picking a fight coz he was generally upset too.
