The Facade begins to unravel

Well, that was a pretty charged episode to watch on multiple fronts😆

I'm going to jump right past Imlie's standard lame made up excuse for her sindoor and get to the meat of the epi😆......

First we get a scene of a very shaken Imlie who feels overwhelmed by the truth almost having come out in this press conference....she's having a meltdown in panic and babbling that she will go far away from here, from Adi, from Malini and everyone.....Adi soothingly hugs her and calms her down....telling her she didn't say anything wrong, she spoke the truth and she spoke from her heart....also telling her firmly that she isn't going anywhere, HE won't let her go anywhere😆.

Then we get the Jainendra portion....lol a word for how well this was all handled....I was expecting something so cliched with him blackmailing Adi with that video he'd made of Adi-Imlie....but lo and behold Editor saab intervened to save things🤣....blasting Jainendra for trying to malign Adi like this.....haha I do love how straightforward Editor saab is even if he disapproves of something Adi has done😆....and then Adi showed up as well to confront Jainendra....lol again, such an interestingly set up conversation - Jainendra mocking Adi for claiming to be the purveyor of truth but being such a liar jisne ghar mein do do biwiyaan rakhi hui hain.....I feel like Jainendra represented that part of society that finds it easy to pass casual judgement on this situation without knowing the whole story.....and the way Adi defended himself today was very well done....he first focused on the impact of the truth revelation for Imlie - all her progress/achievements would be undone if the truth came out like this.....then he talked about how Jainendra very well knows what happened at PD was forced at gunpoint...and he has no idea what all happened in the city and what the situation with Malini is.....and then in bindaas Adi mode, he was like jaao sach batana hai toh main rokunga bhi nahin😆.....Kya banda hai yeh😆.....it is quite fascinating how he manages to walk a path of righteousness even in the middle of the royal mess he's created😆. Finally, it seems like Editor Saab and Adi have reached some kind of understanding again.....lol he's still a sounding board for Adi as they talk about the truth needing to come out magar million dollar question is KAISE😆.

Then the second half of the epi basically was built around the EXTREME tension between the three main characters......like it was tangibly uncomfortable to watch the tension between them today😆. First in that dinner scene where Adi just wanted Imlie to sit with him and eat.....but once Malini showed up, Imlie got very awkward and kept trying to leave....Adi got fixated on Imlie's admission form again and picked a fight with Malini over that, while continuing to insist that Imlie sit and eat😆....he managed to get in a resentful taunt about how Malini was busy giving a sari to Imlie rather than handing over the admission form which was more important.....lol god, the situation just kept devolving in the back and forth.....I just felt so bad for poor Imlie caught in the middle of two such unhappy people.

Then next morning also the drama continues....Adi continues to be pissed off that Imlie is still having to hear about that admission form getting delayed....but LOL how shocking today that Didi didn't decide to fight with him in front of everyone....why so? Usually she's the first in line to do that....aaj delayed dignity kahaan se?😆.....Probably cuz this argument was going to end up getting more charged so writers found an excuse to move it to their room.

But man, WHAT a scene😆....GM was just STUPENDOUS in this scene.....matlab the way the argument built up and everything unraveled...it just felt so REAL....especially cuz the facade was getting pulled off from Adi's side....starting from the way he resentfully grumbled that HE is the one who always has to say sorry to Malini😆....and then the token apology in the room....lol the way he didn't for once cover up his real reactions to Malini's accusations and responded with his own that he admits he said it the wrong way and he apologizes for that but he didn't feel his insistence on the admission form was wrong....and then the whole thing growing into a general argument about the issues between them.....especially cuz Didi brought up her resentment about her failed honeymoon again🤣....Adi squirmed in guilt in this part as she Malini unloaded on him about just giving her a "sorry" instead of a HM😆....then Adi scoffed at her accusation that he deflects when she tries to talk to him😆....but finally he worked up the courage to admit that he is scared of her reactions, that is why he deflects....sab bol diya ki I don't know tum kab faint ho jaaogi, kab 4 din tak khaana khaana chhod dogi😆.....then Malini goes, "Mat dariye"🤣....as if that is enough....again lying that she is ready to hear the truth....ghanta I say. LOL then finally aa gayi main point pe ki WIFE hone ka HAQ chahiye......anyways, poor Imlie standing outside hearing all this again feeling ki woh Adi-Malini ke beech aa gayi😆.....Adi meanwhile trying to figure out how to bachaao his izzat again😆....and there it ends.

Precap mein Didi ka dusri Mrs. C roop finally seems to be coming out.....Adi is dropping Imlie off to her college it seems and Didi not liking Imlie having Adi ki wristwatch and Imlie sitting in front seat....bol diya Imlie ko ki tum meri jagah pe baithi ho....hato😆

I just feel the worst for Imlie right now....she's caught in some very rough currents between Adi-Malini right now....it's getting very ugly on that side....I hope all this is building up towards some fallout.....the tension is getting to be a bit much now😆

Word about how tangible the tension was. It was like am seeing 2 people having this right in front of my eyes and I felt as uncomfortable as imlie in that hallway or in that dinning room going how to end this.. koi toh rok lo but wow .. aaj toh itnq kuch ho gaya on every front mera apna dimaag sach main is like BOOM.. I will have to watch like 3 times to gather everything but first things FIRST GM was OUTSTANDING today esp in that last scene jaha each word of malini was chubhooing and it was hurting on another level so that little soch ke bolna chahiye tha repeat and then hum taal dete hain right.. .. 👏

Now let's go back a bit I wanted to protect i.lie so hard today what a day she is having first the media throwing her so off then the janinder jolt and if all that was not enough everything with Malini she has to witness. Sach main iss bachi ko kuch enjoy karne ka mauka milta hi nahi hai na . Itni choti si khushi of her in the sindoor or the day that was supposed to be her day turning out to bitter by end of it.. kaise aapka sympathies na Hon kaise aap isse protect na karna chahe jab yeh single handedly itna seh jaati hai akele 🥺🤗 woh bhi kisi aur ki galtiyon ke liye..

First off she was totally shaken and I loved how adi calmed her down told her to ignore everything and it is better sach comes out she is not at all at fault.. hugged her usse bola ke woh jaane hi nahi dega so she can keep all these ideas aside she is right and it is better it comes out to her freaking out again with janinder ki cheap tricks pushing him to go and check and his calm do hell with it ..

Phir woh professional rivalry scene man these are the things that are so on point in this show.. I have never seen it being handled with so much class and itna straight confrontation where adi went you have issue with me then deal with me find faults in my professional behavior and stuff and argue but Don't come to my home and who better better him to know what exactly happened in PD..as you rightfully said he was made the voice of society who don't know thr S of sach but are quick to pass judgements caz they get rubbed the wrong way and Don't take a sec to bring someone down.. to accuse the characters without knowing anything... bas inse judgements paas karwal lo..I loved ke edit sahib came through and how and rebuked janinder too and then he himself realizing ke he was wrong and going OK I deleted and you won't have issues.. the way adi ke liye apna badanaami and all nothing mattered what mattered was imlie will be accused and pulled down for no fault of hers and that will be Cruel caz he will again become the reason somehow. He really doesn't care about himself ya kya Hoga.. such a mature conversation between 3 peers even if it was heated and such a scary one to start with janinder finding the evidence to malign adi. I am so so happy they didn't go the usual route of blackmailing and all I got scared but they blew my mind

The chotu sa aparna and imlie scene again awesome ke jaise mithi has become adi's mom waise hi aparna knew imlie is disturbed the little hug and samjhaooing her ke shehar ke log only know to question and will never understand her shraddha again a subtle rebuke at the society and people who question her everyday in audience too and blame her for no fault of hers..

The dinner scene started oh so sweet with adi just wanting to have dinner with his wife ek chitu sa moment that was theirs but malini didi coming and the argument going somewhere else. I enjoyed adi ka taunt about the sari and that she is deliberately delaying the whole thing.. i felt that too ke jaanke nahi karna chahti and was like the stupid date got canceled 5 times she repeated that and adi ka insisting imlie to sit and eat with them in between the argument very well done again while didi came with a quick go take your food and leave when imlie was already itni awkward seeing that.

Then the next morning to hadh hi hogayi.. I totally related with adi on a while different level today woth aparna first telling him off again and his hamesha yehi galat hota hai sabke liye caz he is blunt.. maybe It is more my personality too so i get him real hard in these moments ke bas kyinki kehne ka andaaz rough hai doesn't mean ke baat hi galat hi .. he was so right and I honestly didn't feel ke aisa kuch bohat bol dia tha isne ke itna bada mudda bana dia jaaye maafi maango type.. then his token attempt and malini throwing more tantrums ke she is doing some ehsaan living with him and he never soch ke karo baat rofl I am sorry but agar adi soch ke nahi kar raha baat with malini toh oata nahi kya itna seedha baat ke liye bhi he has to come up with a formal speech.. 😆 then didi slipped HM wala taana and adi did try to sincerely apologize for that and didi again took it kahin aur.. with you ignore me .. that was the last straw and he photoset and how.. I am just seriously WOWED by it with his explosion.. it was long coming aaj bohat zyada ho gaya and finally adi unraveled ke he is scared of her drama her reactions and if not that then Mrs C ka added pressure how much more can he try to make up to pander them he is done it is ENOUGH.. with poor imlie thinking woh ohir beech aa gayi hearing that balst man again so unfair to her and so uncomfortable for her to witness that. Lol ladayi toh room main le gaye but darwaze khol ke so all can see so didi still wants the public scene ke koi aur since dekhe make him the target and I guess Higa woh bhi.. then in precap again taunting her for non stop.. she is done and am glad the fallout has finally happened

Now am even more convinced HM track is coming with location change..

That was one distressing fight. The entire episode was a fight. Starting from the very first scene. Imlie is terribly troubled by feeling like a wrench in Aditya and Malini’s relationship. Aditya is in pain because he is living a lie. Malini is frustrated that her husband is turning out to be someone else. And I was extremely uncomfortable watching it!

Aditya’s desolation was what drove the episode today. He is in pain. One he brought upon himself. His personal life is seeping in and muddying waters in his professional space, questioning his integrity. Imlie is unwilling to listen to him. Malini is unprepared to listen to him; however much she says otherwise.

Imlie refusing to disclose the truth was the catalyst he needed to blow his head off at Malini. Admission forms toh bas bahana ban gaya. From the moment he started questioning Malini at the dining table in the night to taunting her in the living room in the morning until the confrontation in the bedroom, the five minutes were unraveling of a non-existent relationship. He knows he is the only one who grovels with Malini and said so outright. Malini knows he’s not straight with her but refuses to press beyond the regular questions. Looks like even this fight is left unresolved in to the next episode. What a royal mess

Also on Malini’s I always bear all your harsh words - she does not even know the h of harsh in Aditya. What a joke.

So looks like Imlie does turn back. Good for her. Good for Aditya and Malini.

Everything is falling apart spectacularly. Just so much happened in the episode today.

But one thing to note today is, in the past whenever Imlie screwed up their marriage status (sindoor on imlie being caught during savitri puja), Aditya made her feel damn guilty because he felt guilty too. He took her class, so much he sunaofied her. But today, Imlie's reaction was the same. She was so scared. But unlike other times, Aditya hugged her and consoled her. In fact he wanted the truth to be out. In the fight scene today, he told Malini clearly that he is scared of her reaction if he speaks the truth.

I am glad Imlie did not interfere between Aditya and Malini today. She needs to stay out of their fight and not even try to patch them up. She can support Aditya or not support him, that is her choice. But she needs to stay way out of Aditya-Malini matter. This is Aditya's problem and he needs to sort it out himself.

Malini asked the right questions today. I am happy to see Malini did not bring up Imlie even once during their fight. Her problems and complaints were all related to Aditya and his behaviour toward her and their marriage.

And Aditya also spoke his truth. That he is scared of how she will react.

I even liked the way Aditya handled Janenshwar (whatever his name is). He did not care about his reputation but that of Imlie's if the truth came out the way Janenshwar wanted it to come out. Aditya definitely wants to speak the truth, to the world, to his family, and to Malini even. But like he said today, he wants to do it the right away. And he has no idea what the right way is. Let's see how long the writers drag this. But Malini is no longer ignoring the issues in their relationship. Today, not once did she taunt Imlie. All her anger was only toward Aditya.

Good lord, kya dhamakedaar episode tha.

From the precap it seems Aditya is going to be there for Imlie at every single stage of her admission process. Roj college drop karne jayega yeh banda aur pick up bhi karega. Haath dho ke pad gaya tha application form ke peeche. He was right about it but the way he talks is so typical of him. But even Imlie could not handle Aditya today. This guy really is losing it.

What does it say about a couple that takes 7 years to get to this stage where they have no idea about how to even talk to one another. Or how to sort issues between each other. That they only know how to fall apart and not pull each other back together. Such a sad travesty

Re: Malini.....LOL I don't think this lack of taunting Imlie is going to last very long....the anger towards Aditya will bleed onto Imlie as well since Aditya continues to throw all his support and concern behind Imlie......for all her anger and questions, Malini today kept repeating she wants wife wala haq from Adi and she will FIGHT for it😆....you think she will fight Adi for it? 😆.....Naa, she will start considering Imlie the adversary pretty soon I feel....gol mol tareekon se fire karegi on both Imlie and Adi taking turns😆

The root cause of Malini's anger is lack of attention from Adi.....and since Imlie is getting that attention now, she will deffo not be able to keep up the facade of sweetness with Imlie for long.

Lovely analysis AY! I am sure there will be a lot of discussion on the episode today but I just want to talk about the fact that the quality of actors is more than enough to get a good episode in these trying times. Acting was fabulous today from everyone👏 I am happy we got some progress. I am still looking forward to the Mrs C dialogue 😆 Maybe tomorrow’s the day 😄

Can I just say what a horrible couple Adi-Malini make? Matlab depression mein khud bhi aur dekhne waalon ko bhi daal dein😆.....they are like a 16 car pile-up wala road accident that you are just watching in horror but can't look away from😕.

A study in where lack of communication can bring two people.....a total horrifying mess they are.

Is this all meant to show Imlie that this situation is untenable? lol cuz I still think her first instinct will be to run away from this place again😆....kaun jhelega yeh roz ke jhagde Adi-Malini ke😆. Adi needs to figure out how to end things with Malini on his own.

Word on the fabulous acting from the cast that makes the episode feel so high in content👏.....even with them just recycling the Tripathi house set for this press conference location, the acting was all so good, none of that mattered....lol the high voltage impact of the scenes came through. Great job from the team👏
