LOL cuz Imlie samajh gayi hai ki ROKNE ka bhi koi point nahin....kya farak padta hai😛😆.....so better to tell him to buzz off only.....lol but Babusahib ki sui ghoom phir ke wahin aati rahegi ki "Tum chahti ho hum chale jaayein"? 😆.....isko 100 baar bol do, tab bhi nahin samajh aayega cuz his heart keeps wanting Imlie even as he lacks the guts to actually do something to make it happen😆.
That reminds me, I love these random little bits where Imlie says things to him like, "Aap baaki ka apne ghar jaake sochiye, humein janae deejiye"🤣....she's literally told him a 100 different ways she has no patience left for his confusions and wishi-washiness😆....phir bhi Imlie ke saamne hi padaa rehta hai🤣

Baat wohi hai na ki khud kuch courage dikhaani nahin par Imlie se saari expectations lagaani hain ki mujhe rok lo, bolo ki tum chahti ho main tumhare paas rahun etc. etc.
Being pretty unfair to her there, Babusahib😛.....I'm actually more amazed that Imlie manages to stay strong in the face of all these googlies he keeps throwing at her😆.....ladki ka mind kaafi clear rehta hai even as he tries to twist her around😆
@bold: That makes him sound more selfless than he actually is😆. Maybe he'd like to BELIEVE that he is only doing everything for Imlie's happiness😆.....but he hasn't really achieved that level of selflessness as a person - in life or in love.
He didn't come to PD for Imlie's happiness....he came here for his own happiness.....to find the answers to his own questions. And no, the answer wasn't that Imlie's happiness is his happiness. If that was it, he would leave everything and give Imlie the standing of a wife in all aspects. The answer he got was that Imlie has found a place in his heart and he will always remember her.😆 He's maximizing every last moment with Imlie for HIS happiness, not hers😆. He did things for Imlie in PD to the extent that he could to make her happy.....but all this back and forth about this being Imlie's choice to stay in PD and all.....lol these are all just smokescreens....he himself isn't ready to take an action even if she makes a choice for them.....Imlie's just making it easier on him by backing away😆.
Leaving the hut scene aside, next morning also he was getting restless over the idea of Imlie not coming with him to the restaurant....lol usmein Imlie ki happiness kahaan thi? 😆
Giving Imlie a standing of wife in all aspects is not going to make her happy especially as it will come at the cost of his and Malini's happiness. She will never want that nor accept it... I am saying "his" here because Aditya has not made it clear to anybody what is malini place in his life, so for Imlie, she is still important to him..
I agree he is not a selfless, not at all but he has accepted that she does not want to come back, even though he wants her to come back. But if that is where her happiness is then that is what he is ready to do... and I think that is something. For me, the hut conversation was that she has made her place in his heart and her happiness has become important to him.
Staying in PD is definitely for him but it is not making Imlie sad by staying back, infact it is making her happy to have these last moments with him that she will savor for life as she told her SM.
@Bold: Yes, he was restless but Imlie did want to go to the restaurant right? It was her wish too so he made her comfortable enough that she was Ok going. He let her indulge in teasing NN because that would give her happiness where just a day before he had admonished her for teasing NN for the diya thing. I am not saying that his happiness is not involved here, I am saying that now he cares about her happiness and feelings where in the past he was not bothered at all.

@bold: Valid point. In some ways, yes that is indeed what it looks like😆.....it's easier for him to react to Imlie's choices than have to make one on his own.
Say that Imlie straight up asks him for her haq today...will he be able to give it to her? 😆 Likely not...he will do his usual responses about tum toh meri majboori jaanti ho etc. and they will remain at a stalemate. All that will happen is an ego boost for him that Imlie is expressing a haq over him😆.
In that way, I understand even better why Imlie doesn't daalo ghaas to his roundabout ways to try to get her to ask him for haq😆.
@bold - she did once initially and he almost walked to own up no? Just before the wedding? Or do I totally remember it wrong.

@bold: I think we are skipping some steps ahead regarding that. Let Imlie first get to the point where it's a CHOICE for her to accept the standing of a wife or refuse it because of Malini. Adi never even shows any inclination to give her that choice, but keeps demanding that she show how much he matters to her. I see Imlie right now stepping back from this relationship more cuz she says he can't give her any rights, rather than her thinking these rights only belong to Malini.
To me, the fact that Imlie keeps saying things like, "You want to be rid of me", "You treat me like a burden" and Adi doesn't ever fully negate that is a factor in all this. And I don't think the hut convo has put all that to rest. It's step 1 as of now....not all the answers.
And finally, to clarify, cuz I feel like you're making it sound like I'm not giving Adi any of his due😆, this isn't really about that. This discussion for me is regarding his wishi-washiness....which I don't think the hut convo has fully resolved. But I guess you think it has😆. For me, that clarity is yet to come....the makers haven't touched that topic since the hut convo either in Adi's head or Imile's head....ki how do you call yourself someone's husband, act like a husband with her, and then just keep carrying on in life as another person's husband? 😆. Imlie ka "I'll go it alone" still makes sense cuz she's accepted the relationship on a solo level and letting go of rights for that reason. Adi's stance is very muddled right now.
