The Past Comes Calling

Mubarak ho, after driving for what seemed like 10 DAYS, Dev Babu has finally managed to reach the outskirts of PD👏😆.

Aate hi direct KIDNAPPED by SK🤣.....man, that guy moved fast. I dunno why I was under the illusion that SK doesn't know what Dev looks like😆. He not only knows, he instantly kidnapped Dev the moment he saw him and took him off to the jungle to interrogate and thrash him😆.

SK was in full SK mode today....an avenging angel on behalf of his Imlie and Mithi....letting Dev bear the full brunt of his disgust and anger for what he's put Imlie and Mithi through. I still can't believe Dev actually thought he could just meet Mithi and Imlie suddenly after all this time and they'd calmly accept him....especially Imlie🤔😆.

The other two main nice scenes in the epi were both with Mithi.....

First up, the Mithi-SK scene where they talk about Prakash liking Imlie and Adi being jealous of Prakash😆.....SK correlates Prakash to himself as the guy who supposedly couldn't confess his feelings in time.....but I loved how he directly spoke to Mithi about his own feelings again and how he also feels suffocated seeing her live in so much suffocation....his guilt over not telling her his feelings in time and Dev managing to dupe her in that time.

Then the Adi-Mithi scene....probably the best scene of the epi today.....Mithi wanting to thank him for all that he's done for Imlie....the way she described Imlie as "apmaan aur asammaan ke keechad mein khilaa hua Kamal"....beautiful dialogues.....and the way she spoke about wishing her daughter never has a kismat like her.....lots of foreshadowing today. Adi sweetly told her she doesn't need to thank him and asked her to just call him Aditya or Adi....in turn she asked him to call her Amma....aww very sweet bit.....finally Adi found that second mother that he could never find in Mrs. C who refused to let him call her Mummyji.

Adi-Imlie wise, there were some bits sprinkled in throughout the restaurant scene but the focus was on the Dev-Mithi-SK drama.....lol. Still, the gist of it was that Imlie was all smitten and in awe of her Babusahib doing so much for her family and her villagers...giving them so much respect in the restaurant, eating with them, making them feel at home....and in the end even drinking from a fingerbowl cuz Imlie told everyone it's what people in the city drink after their meals😆....Bas Imlie ki baat rakhne ke liye yeh bhi pee gaye Babusahib😆.

Tomorrow should be a big epi.....SK about to shoot Dev😆....until Mithi intervenes and SLAPS SK....lol....and Adi finally overhears that Dev is Imlie's dad.....cue the sadma face😆.

Meri rooh ko thandak mili seeing uss luche tickets dev ki dhulaayi dekh ke...I was like a cheer leader for SK going thoda aur ek aur 😆 look.at the besharmi if that man wow. The audacity.. after putting them through so much be thinks he cam just walk in one day and uski Aarti utari jaayegi what crap.. but SK Was so worth it Go dadda .. 😍

Absolutely loved Amma and unie JAMAI babu oops aditya babu scenes 😀🤗 ek dum heartfelt itna pyara tha best scene if the day for me personally.. the way adi heard her then joked around ke should he help her finding SK .. the way he asked her to stop being formal.and.just call her adi like his parivaar does awww and then got in the flow of Amma so soon that not only in front of her back at table with all too itne aaeam se called mithi Amma awww and imlie got floored by that. Very very heartwarming

My fav line also was taano aur aatmano ke beech khila kanwal and how thankful mithi is that her daughter got acceptance oh mithi if only you knew😆 But adi seemed moved by all mithi told him apna samjh ke .. he will for sure turn extra protective be the shield for imlie from.here on fiercely just like she has been for him at many occasions

The SK mithi scene was very done too poor SK mithi ne usse ghussa Dilakar bhejh dia but chalonSK used that anger for the good. Matlab aaj toh episode dadda ka hai man. I am such a fangirl mode mere dil ko sukoon mil raha hai uss faltu dev ko aise dekh ke

Also nishu thanks for ada karooing adi ki free rotiyon ka haq by standing up for him in front if all ke keep your judgements on hold give him a chance to clarify before sunaooing your punishments.. poor tripathis sabka khoon sukha hai AC ki aamad se 😆 wow at malini didi refusing to comeback even now that aparna apparently called her too andrequested ke aa jao waapis wow

Anyway coming back to the precap: babusahib pe bomb Kaise phoota poor guy was just starting to feel so so happy and at home .. dhamaka it will be

Today's Adi-Mithi scene made me feel like Adi will feel more responsible for Imlie and more determined to not be put in the same bracket as Dev😆.

The way Mithi told him that she doesn't want her daughter to suffer her fate of not getting the respect of a rishta.....that made me feel like Adi will want to bring Imlie back with him somehow to do his hardest to give her the respect she deserves.

It was a good episode, with the story moving ahead in full steam. The reason for Adi extending his stay at PD and Dev to land up at the same time, for Adi to discover that Dev is Imlie's baba. More truths will be revealed to Pari as well, who may find Malini's pic in the wallet, being a friend to Imlie like SK is to Mithi.

The best scene of the day has to be between Mithi and Adi, some heartfelt conversations, how Mithi raised her to be independent, strong, capable of making her own decisions. Adi truly tried to make amends and built a strong relation with Mithi, who bestowed all her love and affection on Adli just like she does on her daughter. Both of them acknowledging and accepting the care and respect they have for the other, genuine affection, the apnapan. MIthi being treated with respect and asking Adi to call her amma. This shows the great strides Adi has made by spending a few days amidst these folks at PD, simple folk, with no airs or pretence. That is what makes it so earthy and humble. This experience has changed Adi in so many ways, being a reporter, he is able to appreciate the hard work, the simple lives of these people, which is anything but simple, who labor in their fields to grow crops that feeds the city folks. Truly Imlie is like the lotus that has bloomed amidst the swampy waters and trying to better her life with the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi.

There was a parallel being drawn between SK - Mithi, Imlie - Adi, both men from the city, how they treat their love of their life will be the difference. I think Pari is also going to know about Malini and will be a friend to Imlie like SK has been to Mithi all along. I have a feeling that Adi is going to get more jealous ahead of their friendship. Yesterday the words Pari uttered comes to mind - my firiendship with Imlie will not break if I do not come for the daawat neither will Adilie break.

Adi treats the folks with maan, sammaan, and smoothes over their fears of using utensils to putting them at ease. I just loved the naughty wink BS gave Imlie while drinking the hot lemon water.🤣 How cutely was that done. Boy Imlie was smitten already and after hearing BS call her amma as 'amma' she was floored and had put him on a pedestal. If BS had the foresight, he should have asked her to return to Dilli with him and she would have said 'yes'. She was in a daze just like she was when BS landed in PD and had takkar with her, this was even more. I kind of like NN too.. 🤣 n her antics.

As for the avenging SK, he whisks off Dev before he can even breathe the air of PD and gives him a sound thrashing. A little scene of the T's who are still fretting over Adi-Mun, Mun refusing to return home.. if only a woman could go to her maayka every time her husband went away on a trip.. oh those fortunate ones or not... 😆😆 Pankaj saying what will Malini do here.. i was just..😔 poor T's are dreading the arrival of Anu who is coming to ring a bell over their heads over their supposed treatment by their son. CBS trying to be the voice of reason here.

Precap - Truth is coming out, Adi letting Pari know not to let Imlie follow him at any cost.. will be the time for Pari to discover AdiLie's truth or will Imlie be able to cover up. Lots of action tomorrow.

Today's high was the Mithi-Adi convo and the wink by BS.

First part - I wrote about that in your last thread. He may feel a twinge for Malini but no one will come before Imlie for him. He is not going to be feeling sad for others for a long time.

Second part - you think so? I still feel there will be a separation somehow. I am bracing for a pretty abrupt departure actually.

I mean he could have taken out just his card and given it to him. Why give the entire wallet no? I do not think he’s the photo carrying kind of a guy with Malini but she herself might have kept one in it. Similar to that miss me note no?

Man you think prakash will find an adi malini pic and based on that phodo a bomb to satyakam? I am surprised by how many potential tracks they create. Lagta hai poora hafta pd mein dealing with sasur damaad kaand. Lovely amma adi scene. Story movement wise it was good and potential for high voltage drama.
