See Muhammad Rafi and Kishore Kumar and Lata mangeskar are gone decades ago but still they are talked by people and still they are considered the Maestros.... With kumar sanu, alka yagnik, udit narayan and Sonu Nigam thing..... Besides Sonu Nigam name I haven't seen anyone given such importance to Udit or Kumar sanu names after their downfall, neither anyone talk about them in most of the cases despite of their contribution they are not remembered as someone greats like Rafi, Kishore.... they were once upon a time singers.... So definitely GOAT is the era of rafi kishore lata.... Their contribution are still talked and cherished, rafi still is the most versatile

Neha kakkar is extremely popular. I think if she released song with nothing but silence for 2 minutes it would still get 10 million views in a day.

aye Kumar Sanu is still cherished for his songs of 90s. You don't need to undervalue him to bring Sonu up.

kumar sanu songs are popular but he isnt given such importance as rafi or kishore ...and in contemprories sonu given some importance due to his variety of work but it doesnt make sonu on same ground as rafi or kishore ....90's singers anyone isnt considered larger than life like people do it for 60's singers..and its not about looking down upon anyone ....kumar is one of my fav as well
