Moments of collective excitement in the theatre?

I watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in theatre and the whole hall was screaming, whistling and shouting at Salman's entry. Till date, I have not heard such a thunderous applause for any actor's entry in any film. I think it was the surprise element - it was a time when social media was not there and no-one expected Salman to be in the film.

Also, Hrithik's entry scene in War. The theatre audience was absolutely in awe.

Wow this is something else. I miss those days. OTT platforms can never be a substitute for the cinematic experience and the feeling of being part of a community.

War - HR entry ( ehm...excuse all the drool on the theatre floor, guys and girls alike 😍)

Some of them I truly adore no particular order having watched few movies in theatre, audiences went crazy here.

Bollywood:

1. Salman's entry in Dabangg 1

2. Salman's entry in Sultan

3. SRK in Raees

Hollywood:

1. Thor's entry in last battle in Infinity War

2. Iron Man's entry in suit in Infinity War

3. Captain America's holding Mjolnir in Endgame

4. Captain America saying Assemble in Endgame

1. Steve's first shot in Endgame

2. Steve lifting Mjolnir in Endgame

3. Both the snaps in the Endgame war

4. Last bomb blast in Raazi

5. Aisha's death in the Sky is Pink

most of the time when the movie is not going anywhere and a new star enter people shout and clap expecting him or her to do some magic.

The entire Avengers Infinity War was a freaking cinematic experience. Most epic was Thor's entry in Wakanda

Everyone was cheering and screaming from the opening Marvel title card until the snap...that shut us up.

I missed out on Endgame coz I was in the UK and NOT ONE PERSON CHEERED!!! Such a wasted opportunity! But I did make up for it by watching YouTube reaction videos. 😆
