I was tlking to a friend abt how this show I liked is turning dramatic and unbearable and she told me the point is to make it dramatic and create a mystery around it to get the viewers to watch. Initially, everyone knew the story line and it was very predictable so I think they are trying to create drama and Flare around it so more d more people tlk abt the show and watch it .. even if it’s done unintentionally tHe end goal is to increase viewership .. so don’t take everything you read seriously bc yeh log aise ich karenge for some time .. if SaiRat moves ahead so quickly .. story Kaise chalegi?? In this chakkar they are sabotaging their own story

Also is it just me, or is food too big a deal on this show? Like how difficult is it to microwave a plate? Literally takes a minute!

Something that I can’t digest is that Ashwini has not once told Virat to stay away from Pakhi, meanwhile constantly taunts Pakhi about it. I heard she also told Sai not to bring up Pakhi in a conversation! Okay so your son shouts pakhi’s name in the middle of the night, and somehow these two gals are responsible for it?

Bad parenting Ashwini, real bad parenting!

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? I only ask because my mama, who lives in India doesn't even warm his own milk -.- vs. my dad, brother and even my grandpa in America all are capable of at least warming their own food and finding a meal for themselves! Virat reminds me of my mama, the classic Indian family boy who isn't expected to do anything himself because there's always going to be a mom or wife, and in his case, vahini. It's the classic your beta is never wrong but everyone else is.

I live in India, but my brother and father are perfectly capable of cooking and serving themselves. If need be, they serve others too, atleast my brother does. Maybe that’s why I find it really strange, cause in my house, no one could ever expect me to serve or do household chores for everyone, with the men just sitting.

My problem is with the way they portray the family which I find hugely toxic and frankly a waste of my time, that’s why I don’t really watch the show. I personally got tired of that - I have been saying this for a long time, while today’s episode was kinda cute, I have been watching all episodes on ff mode, in fact I only watch if I know there are SAIRAT scenes otheriwse I don’t bother watching.

I find the whole family and their behavior and the way they live extremely toxic. The thing is I grew up in a joint family, and believe me none of this shit happens. Like which world do these people live in? My brother is in the army and I swear to god, when he visits us during his posting, our family actually goes out so that he and his wife can have some time alone. My mom has helped my bhabhi in her homework so many times when she was doing her BEd. My cousins and I have teased my other sister so much when she was engaged to a guy. We used to hide her phone and when he calls, I used to pick it up and answer like it was her. My badi ammi has yelled at my bhabhi once only once because, there was a party in our house, and all of us youngsters dissappeared and went and watched a movie, she knew about it and hid it for our sake, and my badi ammi yelled at her not becos she hid ...she was actually yelling at her saying “don’t spoil these rotten kids”

What I am trying to say is none of the joint families they show on ITV I can ever relate to, which is so sad, because I do hope that young girls don’t think this is how families are or for that matter aunties don’t think this is how they should behave with young girls. There are so many happy and NORMAL ways to portray a joint family, even when people are mad at each other.

That sounds like a wonderful family! <3 The Chavans are beyond toxic and I always end up ff their scenes too! I think seeing as the new episode has Sairat and things maybe *hopefully* will be changing, I might binge the entire week on Saturdays so I can ff all the crap.
