That's an interesting change. As of now toh, we have an idea that Valiant might not be his actual father so he could be from Garuda Clan. I mean previous Naagins belonged from Sheshnaag's clan. So, it is quite possible that he belongs to Garuda's clan. That could be why they say, 'Uski kundali mein roshni ki or badna likha hai'. Something akin to Icarus. Though not that literally but Veer is that passionate. Like Bani is the Sun in Icarus' story. At least till now because she doesn't realize how passionately Veer loves her

Garuda is name not type of bird , lord Garuda is eagle himself.
