But still we like Amber Sharma because we know what kind of person inside he is !

As far as Amber is concerned, yes we know he has a good heart & therefore we try to overlook his behaviour. But I am sure everyone will agree - there has to be some limits to this. Just because someone is a good man he cannot be justified in behaving in such a hurtful manner for so much of the time. Occasional transgressions - ok, but repeated?

A good hearted man repeatedly ignores & sometimes insults him well-meaning though chipku neighbours - ok??

A good-hearted man calls his daughter’s colleague (young enuf to be his daughter) “chapti naak wali” though she has not made Niya lose Kabir - ok??

A good-hearted man takes out his own frustration from online love, on a lady by calling her a two-timer - ok??

I could go on & on & there is plenty of material, but of course Amber has a heart of gold so all this must be overlooked as minor flaws and heaven help if someone finds it disgusting.

1. nosiness in others personal lives (projected as observant nature),

2. double standards abt intrusion in privacy (projected as mysterious past),

3. drinking habit (projected as tragic backstory),

4. going too physically close while talking to female colleague (projected as exactly what??? what can possibly justify it???)

These facts make the character of RB unlikeable & unworthy as a parallel male lead. It has nothing to do with Shaleen who is just following the script. So pls Shaleen fans, no need to take this personally. Rishi fans, pls to read points 1-4, u may change your mind.

There are definitely some ‘keen’ Shaleen fans here that can’t separate real from reel

Really hoping Rishi receives some kind of tweaking or revamping after his trip since CV are hell bent on pairing him with Nia

didn’t like the weird mystery around him cause it was just unnecessary so hoping they resolve and bury all that and start fresh

Just yesterday I had stated clearly that personal attack is prohibited at least in my topics. And here again today.

If you disagree with someone than express that in respectful manner. But DON'T MAKE ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THE PERSON YOU ARE DISAGREEING WITH IN AN OFFENSIVE MANNER.

Granted Rishi have some flaws. 1 and 2 I am not arguing with. I have never.

About 3 what a person does as a defense mechanism is always a mystery even to that person. I am saying this because I have done so many things without realization years ago and have realized them now "Oh that was my defense mechanism!". And when a person drinks because of trauma s/he shouldn't be judged on the basis of that. I am not saying this as a Shaleen fan. I am saying as a person who is very much depressed and trying to pull herself from that depression. That is just my out look.

And 4 I think that is totally on CVs. I think they thought it would look good. But clearly they were wrong. That is just the difference between reel and real. In real life no one would try to hug their mentor and even if they did it would be real awkward (and some classic sitcom material 😆). But Niya did try to hug him but pulled herself back and it wasn't much awkward.

There had been many anti-heroes in TV shows who had way too many bad qualities then this. And those worked out pretty well. So I don't think these flaws make him unworthy as a parallel lead. AS too have many bad qualities

And Of course not I am not getting offended by your words. I can sense the respect you tried to put in. But there are lots of people in this forum who just can't express there point of view in respectful way and have been wishing bad of the actor. And when they can't find any counterlogic they started making personal attack.

My point was - not out of expectation and we like him.

I never said anything about justification .

A person with good heart and sharp tongue is always better than a person with wicked heart but sweet and polite words..
