Hotstar subscription is monthly/yearly. Most people take the yearly subscription coz its cheaper.

The subscription ends only at the end of the month or end of an year, Instagram ke jaise unfollow thodi kar doge.

That too the payment is in advance.

A) This seems fake coz of prepaid model(obviously)

B) even if it's true, they'll gain back all the subscribers and more next month when IPL will be on.

ETA: hotstar is barely promoting the film on the app though... Bigger posters still show khuda Hafiz and only scrolling posts has sadak2... Even in the multiplex circle icons, sadak2 is not front and center despite being the new release... They definitely have given up on the film and avoiding as much backlash as possible.... Probably trying to minimize the "uninstall hotstar" storm
