At that time coronavirus was a hauaa.

Now it's just an afterthought.

She faced criticism because she flouted lockdown rules and attended parties, especially after she returned from UK, which at that time was badly affected with Covid and India was still in its nascent stage.

Celebrities testing positive now have not flouted any such rules.India has relaxed lockdown. People are going back to work, and even shoots are happening. Despite taking all the precautions, some are falling prey to the virus. That's unfortunate but definitely not irresponsible like Kanika was.

Kanika's case wasn't the same though.. she deliberately hid and travelled after returning from an infected area and partied away..

Thankfully she recovered and did not infect others.. abuses are not justified in any case but she did do a dozen things which she wasn't supposed to do.. and that too deliberately.. also in her case, there was no speculation but pure facts

Kanika was among the first BW celeb to get infected and after coming from a foreign country (which was the main source of infections), she attended parties and functions. Now the case is different as the whole country is suffering. It's like every building has one positive case.
