Obviously it is not as simple as Sonam is trying to put it in. Otherwise all the rich will lead a happily ever after life and poor or even middle class will struggle and be miserable throughout.

People continue to enjoy their life while being poor and leading a mediocre life with meager incomes. Yes they struggle to meet their ends meets and there are many ups and down but ultimately still lead a peaceful life. And that’s what ultimately matters.

Good karma does not mean I will be born as a SRK or a Ambani in my next life. If only it was that simple!!!

karma means action, your action but its not about just physical action nor is it some reward punishment system. sonam getting upset is her karma meaning her doing but of course she would blame others as she sees them as the cause of her anger or upset but in reality she is the cause, its her doing, its her feelings, she generated it and gave power to their words. if she can't help it that is also her karma, her doing.

I find it very insensitive when people say its your karma like someone is born handicapped so its their karma, tell them and see how they feel meaning instill more guilt into them. make them feel even more bad about their existing circumstances.

karma is also memory. karma is also bondage. karma is also interdependence. sonam posting about karma, you then making a thread about it then me writing to you is all part of it.

you're born in certain family because you've ancestor karma meaning memory. you can't just jump for that you've to break those karmic ties which most don't do and don't know how to.

you look a certain way because of your genes, dna but you're born in that place because of memory (karma) its nothing to do with good or bad deeds. the universe doesn't see things as good or bad. there's also unconscious memory from past lives. those also determine your next life. your soul purpose, lessons also determine. your innate tendencies, tamas also plays a major role.

if your soul needs to learn a certain lesson then you might be born in a certain family at certain time in history to best suit you but as I said its mostly bondage and unless you break it, you're gonna keep on moving in circles, that's what they call wheel of samsara, cycle of birth and rebirth.

its also an accumulation. its also about volition, your intention. we're being reincarnated moment to moment. Right now we can in a sense break free from karma but we reincarnate ourselves back as a thought, as tension stuck in the body, as a contraction. if you notice we never fully let go, we're kinda scared to let go like we'll stop existing, that holding on is karma, our bondage.

there's also craving, aversions. we're in this push pull. we crave pleasure and have aversion towards pain. this craving/aversion, this push/pull, this desire/fear, this wanting/not wanting is also our karma. that's why the buddha taught the middle way. the middle way is getting out of this push/pull, out of constant wanting and not wanting. that's samsara, that's our karma. if you break it, you break free and you're out of karma, out of bondage. you stop reincarnating yourself.

these desires, fears also plays a role in your rebirth. your environment also does, your parents karma too. its all interconnected. even devi/devtas are in samsara as they're in the cycle of birth/rebirth and its not like once you're a devi devta you remain that way, anytime you can fall from grace and be born as a human or animal, only the buddha are free of samsara as they're out of it.

so anything that is manifested like spiritual beings or devi/devtas in astral planes are still in bondage, still in samsara, this is all karma.

ultimately its a game of hide and seek. the ultimate one, the parabrahman is playing a game of hide and seek with his own self in billion different forms. when he decides to wake up, he'll till then enjoy the game and play well 😃

This is the person whose books I have read. This is the only source of education I have had on this topic. Sorry if doesn't coincide with everyone.

He basically says karma is to learn not to reward good deeds or punish bad deeds. He says the earth is a school and we are the students.

Sonam here is using Karma to justify her privilege and callous disregard for people born with far less privilege than her . She doesn’t give a flying f*** whether it’s real or not .

the only thing is one gets to know why one is going through particular thing, and some phobias get cured just be reliving 5he source through past life regression.

i did see one show on Indian tv where a young boy had depression and he did past life regression and got completely cured. But cures also depend on ones karma. If youve hurt too badly or too many, it will take more than just past life regression to eradicate that karma.

Really "Same Soul Many Bodies" def gave a lot of hope. He progressed people into future lives. And they saw easier lives once they have master the spiritual lessons.*

His patients' current lives began to improve with the regression therapy themselves because they began to put things together that was meant to be learned. Than ultimate bliss happened when they graduated to a different realm. But again I don't want to back up Sonam's theory that she got born into privilege as a reward or people who get born as poor as a punishment. He claims we change financial status, religion, caste, creed in every lifetime to let go of prejudice and our soul can learn to empathize with everyone. And said the human life is meant to be enjoyed while we learn here at the same time. And again because one is privileged doesn't mean they will have an easy life otherwise.

He has a very interesting take on soulmates too. He believes in soul families. One person can be you dad in one lifetime. Your best friend in another. Your lover in another. They travel together through time.

Any case I was interested in regression therapy due to my traumas as a child. My grandfather had a stroke that triggered depression. (Depression can be triggered through strokes and heart attacks). I as the youngest was his most pampered grandchild. He ended up committing suicide. Nobody told me what happened. I kept asking where he went. Until someone finally told me bluntly. I was silent and my mom said I started stroking my doll continuously. (Might also be why Sushant's death effected me so much). That is why I started reading his books. His "Many Lives Many Masters" is the best seller.

Important edit: Again just explaining what I made of his books. No need to take it for face value if you don't want to.

Your only right is to your own actions not to fruits thereof. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

another friend did similar reading and the reader told him he had been sexually abused at a particular age as a child (he had kept it hidden from everyone) . The reader was in a country across the world, but she tuned into his akashicrecords and it was there. the reader told him it was consequence of two earlier past lives. He had to work through that and heal himself.

The more you delve into the metaphysical, the more unbelievable things emerge.

an autobiography of a yogi...by Paramhansa Yogananda is a fantastic read..he had a small boy student Kashi who died of cholera (early 1900s) but not before asking Paramhansa to pls find him in case he dies and gets reborn..after six months of sending out vibrations (kolkata) when out and about he feels the vibrations of Kashi and is led intuitively to a house, where he finds a lady is six months pregnant. The child is Kashi reborn and when he grows up joins Paramhansas ashram.

Who’s the akashic record reader? Many of them use cold reading instead of actually knowing things and people get impressed not knowing about cold reading. There might be genuine ones but hard to find.

There’s also nadi astrology in chennai but even there, there’re many fakes.

That book is awesome and I believe it’s real as he was a true yogi.
