The karma thing is based on ones belief. You either believe in it ot you don't.

I personally don't believe in it. Because everytime I thing about the concept of karma i get to thinking..... Did the millions of Jews who lived a life worse then death have bad karma, do all the Muslims and Christians currently in China's camps have bad Karma,... And india having a population on over a billion people, out of which half are living in poverty. Did all those 500+ million people have bad karma. Then there's Africa... Do they all of bad karma.

But that's just my belief.

Take example of Rishi Kapoor. Ache karma ke baad BHI his married life was awful, his son did not have any rapport with him. He had a painful death.

Despite having Rishi Kapoor as his father, Ranbir had a traumatic childhood. To kaunsa Acha karma. Being priveleged doesn't result from good karma.

You can be poor/underprivileged but can still bear fruits of good karma.

Better be poor and happy than be rich and miserable.

The main thing is happiness, joy, excitement towards life and peace in your heart and mind, that is the result of good karma whether you are rich or poor......

Main thing is the lesson that all this world is an illusion and every one has to leave all the luxuries here itself while dying....

At bold, so true, yes one can’t and one shouldn’t. The concept of karma is not for imposing on other people but for one’s own personal path to spiritual progress.

Anyone who understand true spirituality will be free from worldly ties, but will perform his or her duties in the world, will be empathetic to the core and won’t hurt anyone, will see everyone as God’s creation and treat everyone equally. That’s the deeper concept of karma but people throw it around like it’s that simple.

Like Kabir Sahib who propagated , that there is no difference between you and me. Everyone’s soul is a part of almighty. The true seeker knows that, it’s a matter of the maya around him that shapes him in the way he behaves based on his past lives, because the soul detoriates with bad karmic actions which increases suffering.

If you have heard Kabir sahib’s poetry jheenj chadariya.. it explains a bit :

8 kamal dal charkha dole, ( the seat of the chakra where soul resides is an 8 petal lotus, denoting 8 subtle currents)

5 tatva, gun teeni (Rajas, tamas, satto) chadariya..

Excellent 👌 You have really good knowledge. This is what I wanted to write as well.

I'll try to express my views here too tomorrow.😊

I am a Hindu....and I do believe in the Karma theory.....most of the principles of Hinduism do have a scientific base....but as usual...few people hijack it just like the nuts in other religions do....

I have grown up believing that out actions do affect us either in this life or the next life....so do good deeds....

Having said that...Sonam just used the karma theory to push her own agenda here...at this time when people are really trying to make a sense of things...she is saying that she is privileged because of good karma...what she is saying the validity of that is for another debate....but its absolutely wrong and hateful on her part to put it out in the face of everyone like that..especially at this time when everyone is dealing with a tragedy...people are angry and frustrated......a Simple...Happy Father's Day would have been enough....but No...inko toh moorkhta karni hai.....so she is being bashed correct at this time...because there is a time and a place for everything...and being a celebrity u should know that what u say will affect a lot people....Sudhar jaa Sonam..sudhar ja

No, many people don't believe it. It's the term which has been misused in the past. You can't put others down by saying it's your Karma. Some sections of Society has been oppressed I'm the past , by other sections who misused this term.

If someone is born poor and if we say it's their Karma, then many people won't even touch them. That's not how society should be.

Of course the term is misused but that doesn't mean it doesn't exists. That mean some people who doesn't get punished for their misdeeds in this lifetime will never punished. If there is god then I m sure karma exists.
