Innumerable warriors are martyred and wounded, battle begins daily at sunrise n pauses at sunset ..with the conch sounds of a Bheeshm and Drishtadyumna.

Arjun was fighting Bheeshm when he is taken away n Dronacharya confronts Arjun.
Duryodhan n Bheeshm clash over getting Karn to defeat invincible Arjun as Bheeshm would never kil Arjun . Bheeshm retorts that if Karn was brought under Bheeshm’s flag , Duryodhan could select another Senanayak for Hastinapur .Duryodhan retorts that if he chose another Pradhan Senanayak then Bheeshm would get the chance to fight in favour of Pandavas , that situation will never be allowed by Duryodhan.

Soon Bheeshm coNfronts Arjun’s chariot n injures Krishn, this infuriates Arjun , he fights off Bheeshm angrily . Bheem is tired of waiting to confront Duryodhan, is seen killing 10 other Kauravas instead .

At Hastinapur Dhritarashtra is angry n agitated on hearing this news lashes out at Sanjay. He shares his grief with Gandhari.

On the 9th day of the Kurukshetra battle , Pandav Sena has a meeting and they discuss that unless Bheeshm was killed they could not win this war, Krishn advises Yudhisthir to go to Bheeshm along with Arjun n return his blessings of “vijayi Bhava”

As they go to Bheeshm to return his blessings he says he does not take back anything he gives away. He asks them to tells Krishn that he k ew very well Pandavas will win. And also ask Krishn to reveal to them how to defeat Bheeshm . He hints that he could not lift his weapons on women.

When they discuss this problem in their shivir , Draupadi /Kalyaani offers to go to battle field n fight Bheeshm pitamah . Yudhishthira says this will hurt Kshatriya Maryada . Krishn insults Pandavas but Krishn reprimands Kalyaani . Krishn suggests they send the half man Shikhandi, Bheeshm will recognise Shikhandi to be Amba and put down his arms , that will babe the time to kill Bheeshm.

At night Bheeshm meets Ganga n seeks blessings of Moksha from her. She then informs him that she was inspecting a spot of land where her son Bheeshm will lie down for the last time, it was now time for him to leave this earth. Bheeshm smiles n accepts it.

He returns to his shivir n gifts all his servants n relieves / frees them of their duties . The servants get emotional as Bheeshm blesses them they never again have live as servants in this birth or rebirth.

Arjun takes Shikhandi in his chariot as he prepares to fight Bheeshm on the 10th day, Shikhandi is very happy to think her moment had come at last for which she was waiting for all her life n previous life. .
Ashwatthama comes to Dronacharya and fumes against Duryodhan. Dronacharya agrees with his son.

At Hastinapur Sanjay narrates to Dhritarashtra the conversation between Ashwatthama and Dronacharya. He gets angry n frustrated for his son Duryodhan.
At the begin of the battle, Duryodhan’s spy informs him abiut Shikhandi accompanying Arjun on his chariot, they decide to have a discussion with their Pradhan Senanayak Bheeshm as suggested by Shakuni mama.
Bheeshm then informs Duryodhan, they he had to give Yudhisthir the means to kill their Pitamah. Duryodhan fumes with fury as Bheeshm informs Shikhandi was a half woman.
Duryodhan n Shakuni decide to keep their army between Arjun’s n Bheeshm‘S chariots .to keep them separated.
