Mastani needs to be in her 20's but Padmavati can be in 30's. So SLB could have chosen Aishwarya for Padmaavati.

Sushmita Sen looks good for Jhansi Ki Rani type Warrior princess role, not romantic princess role. She has masculinity in her body language which is not suitable for feminine princess but she is good choice for female fighter type royal roles.

Sad that Ash did not do royal roles except Jodha she would have looked very elegant in Mastani or Padmavaat

Ash would look perfect for Madubala role in Mughal e azam too, no other actor can match Madhubalas beauty as Ash

Both Ash and Deepika are average actress but Ashs average acting gets hidden behind her beauty
