What happened to Emraan Hashmi?

How could he ruin his career by doing Bhatt movies when he became a star by those erotic movies .I think he stopped becoming relevant after his erotic thriller went out of fashion .Also with every other stars indulging in kissing ,he lost that 'IT ' factor!

Actually he hasn't been away from work for like long, he's trying to reinvent himself but failing with every effort. Why cheat india, his last film with rishiji, bard of blood he's trying stuff but for now it is difficult to regain what he has lost because 2 things that were closely associated with emran's success was semi sensual films and great music. Now that every guy has access to Internet and it's content plus ao many erotic thrillers coming inn that genre is long gone. Recent films ke gaane bhi acche nahi the, last was HAK that had good songs. Natawarlal, mr.x, raaz boot reboot kitne aaye kitne gaye pata bhi nahi. He's trying par, he had lots of flops between so lagta hoga where is he.

With good music album and decent crime drama he can still be back to doing well. Liked him in Bard of blood.

He should have never left the Bhatt camp

Done and dusted. What he was popular for has lost its steam now.

He needs to reinvent and can work in interesting new concepts

Bhatt camp is doomed now. They hardly produce any movies nowadays. So he had no option than leaving that camp.

He tried to be experimental and prove that he doesnt need the Bhatts with movies like Shanghai, Ek tha Daayan which all bombed . He could never recover after that IMO

Interestingly, he's still visible in at least one movie each year as well as recent movies like Cheat India, The Body and has upcoming 2020 movies...despite all his flops. Some people are quite lucky.
