Just saw they have begun repeat telecast of ELDG on zee yuva 😍 at 7PM. thought would share here for those interested.

Luved watching the show again. Feeling nostalgic🥰

Finally sensible show to watch.

Its definately better to watch reruns of cult classics like this show rather than watching some really boring new shows on tv.

I just hope they bring back

Even I have been watching ELDG regularly since it began. Even Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon has begun on Star Utsav, so I watch both changing channelsAnd that day I also saw Sasural Genda Phool's reruns...its sure running good shows suddenly. *touchwood*

ELDG is such a charming & warm show. It leaves you feeling all happy & nice 😳No villains, no kuchkepana, no dirty jokes, kat karasthan. And most importantly sensible leads...that is such a rarity now😆

SR should really stop wasting his time promoting other people's substandard things & get busy directing another show for us😵

@bold, Tastes have changed so drastically today. These days no show can run without such ingredients. Even though some shows start with some "noble" intentions, they quickly degenerate.

I wonder if ANYONE will attempt such clean and entertaining (from start to finish) serials like ELDG in today's TRP ruled world.

More than the taste I think a certain laziness has set in in the entertainment industry. They are just not bothered to pay actual writers. Story same ahe saglikade, bas nat-natya badalat jatatbaki sagla same ahe. Cheapness, flashy jewelery/ clothes, cringe worthy villains.

Even ELDG, or SGP or even IPKKND had common storylines but the treatment given to the story was different which is what made them so different. I guess it does take a little courage on everyone's part to make such shows. Otherwise aajkal jasa movies kadhi yetat kadhi jatat kalat nahi tasach shows cha pan zalay. Kadhi ale, kadhi gele no one knows🥱

SGP was so good! Suhana will always remain a one of a kind character in the hindi drama world😆
