I still stand by what I said about following a hadith even if it contradicts any of the madhab.
For example rafa ul yadein , raising the hands before going in ruku and after coming up.
Imam Hanafi doesn't have that ruling but the hadith is there. And I don't want to miss out on the reward so I do it.
Do what you feel is right. But It makes it easier to follow one of madhabs in another matters like rules. Not ibadaat. I hope you understand what I mean. 😊
There are many authentic sayings right out of his lips that he asks people to follow the hadith and sunnah. If they find something in hadith and sunnah that contradicts his rulings then to follow the hadith.
I wish it was that easy, but there are different sayings, and many ways to understand them. That's why there were differences between aymma. 😊
