Prerna was walking on the footpath, busy in her own world of thoughts. Her trance broke when she heard a familiar voice,
‘Prerna!’
She turned around to see the junior Basu standing and smiling at her.
‘Anurag? tum yahan?’
‘Haan, main. Yahan se guzar rha tha. Socha tumhe eklift de doon. Waise ghar laut rhi ho na?’
‘Hmm.’
‘Toh chalo. Main drop kar deta hoon.’
Prerna wasreluctant at first, but agreed soon.
Their car stopped at the the signal, beside thebusiness tycoon Rishab Bajaj’s car.
Prerna was on the passenger seat beside Anurag. She waslaughing at a silly joke of Anurag.
‘Yeh ladki Anurag Basu ke saath kya kr rhi hai?’
His trance broke when the signal turned green.
Next morning:-
‘Priyu, aaj itni jaldi office kyun ja rhi hai?’ asked Sekhar.
‘Bhaiya, aaj office mein mera perfectionist boss pehli baar aa rha hai. Isiliye bohot kaam hai. So, jaldi jana padega.’
Shivani-‘Mujhe drop kardo na di! Aaj special morningclass hai college mein!’
Prerna replied,’Chal.’
In the hotel:-
Rishab was going through the names and details of the best employees of his company.
Mehra-‘Sir, who is going to be your PA?
Rishab-‘Let me go through the list first!’

Experience - Internship at Basu Publications. 2 yearwork experience in Malabar Exports. Currently working for a year an a 4 monthsin ’RB Industries’.

Prerna was glued to her computer screen. She was busy going through the Audit Reports when she received the call on her intercom. Shereceived the call.
‘Miss Sharma, from today onwards you are going to be.the PA of Rishab Bajaj . Be ready for it.’
Prerna’s mouth turned dry. She somehow thanked the person and cut the call.
Her colleagues noticed her tensed state.
She drank water.
Ananya- ‘Kya hua tujhe?’
Her colleagues were stunned to know that Prerna is nowthe PA of Rishabh Bajaj…
As soon as Prerna entered her Boss’s cabin, she wasstunned.
Welcome, Miss Prerna. I was waiting for you only.’ Said Rishabh, with a smirk on his face.

Prerna’s cheeks turned red.
She managed to say,’Good Morning,Sir!’
‘A very good morning to you, Miss Sharma. Have your seat.’ Replied Rishabh, pointing to the seat opposite to him.
‘Mehra, announce the news officially and arrange for Miss Sharma’s ID and cabin.’
Mehra nodded and went away.
Prerna gasped in shock.
She thought,’ Yesterday he had a totally differen timage compared to today. And he is very good, kind and attractive as a boss!’
She slapped herself in her mind. ‘Appearances can be deceptive, remember it, Priyu!’🤔
She was broken out of her trance by his bold voice.
‘First of all, let me tell you I am not at all strict with my employees. Second, do not have a bad impression about me. Third, as PA,you have to deal with this often moody boss sometime.’😉
‘Yes, Sir!’ replied Prerna, when he asked her if she is okay with her role as PA.
‘Good, now listen carefully what you have to do, MissSharma.’
He carefully explained to her the details of her job.
As soon as Prerna stepped out of the head of’RB Industries’ Rishabh Bajaj’s room, she was literally dragged into her new cabin.
Mehra- 'This is your cabin, Miss Sharma. All the best.'
'Thanks, Mr. Mehra.'
Prerna tried to engage herself in her work, but found it difficult to do, as the brown eyes of her boss and the look on his face reminded her of someone long lost.
'Aisa nhi ho sakta hai, Priyu! Usne tere dil toda aur chala gya! Woh itne saalon tak contact nhi kiya. Bhale hi dono ke naam ek jaise hain, woh tera R ishi nhi ho kakta hai!'
On the other hand, Rishabh was confused about the sight the previous day.'Is something really fishy between the Junior Basu and Piu?'
He was frustated.
