You don't need to get hospitalized for typhoid if diagnosed early.

Yes, exactly. People who are blaming Shukla fans, should watch episode. It was Arti who said it was Typhoid and she is in the house currently not Devo.

Viral fever is caused by virus, it's self limiting ,can resolve on its own,no meds reqd except paracetamol,no dangerous complications whereas typhoid is caused by bacteria,salmonella typhi,requires lots of tests like stool culture, bacterial culture,widal test etc for its diagnosis, usually high grade 103-104 degree Fahrenheit,has additional symptoms like diarrhoea/constipation,abdominal pain,severe weight loss,lethargy,loss of appetite ,pt. is not even able to get up from bed,takes time to resolve, treatment include s antibiotics like ceftriaxone,oflox,ciproflox etc..Has severe complications like bleeding,bowel perforation,septicemia, peritonitis and no its not same as viral fever,viral fever is not that severe ,resolves in about 4-5 days..i've had typhoid so i know how severe it is,shukla doesn't seem to have typhoid!
