Amitabh's look in Ravi Chopra's upcoming 'Bhootnath, was revealed last Saturday at Cinemax (Versova) in Bombay.

In 'Bhootnath,' Bachchan plays a cranky grandfather, who later becomes a partner in pranks indulged in by his seven-year-old grandson 'Banku' (Aman Siddiqui). The movie is about a child's innocent love and how it can turn a foe into a friend.
The cast of 'Bhootnath' also includes Juhi Chawla, Satish Shah, Rajpal Yadav and Tejas. Shah Rukh Khan makes a special appearance.

While referring to Shah Rukh Khan, Bachchan denied any 'bad vibes' between them. They have a few scenes together in the movie. "It is a media-created animosity. He is a friend," Bachchan said.

An Indian Films presentation, 'Bhootnath' is scheduled to release on May 9, later this year.

Guests waited in anticipation for this filmi event to commence... because Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan were to share the dais and talk about their latest ghost-related film.

While Bachchan Sr walked in a tad late (Mumbai traffic, we tell you!), the paparazzi were left waiting for King Khan... who finally never turned up!

When Mr Bachchan was questioned about SRK's absence, he passed on the mike to producer Ravi Chopra, who said that SRK was caught up in some other work. Well...

Anyways, when the mike came back to Amitabh, he spoke about ghosts and his new look in the film. "Do you believe in ghosts?" a scribe asked, to which Amitabh replied, "Well, I've never seen one, so I can't say I believe in them." Also present at the function were the other cast of the film, Juhi Chawla and Priyanshu Chatterjee, the new-kid-on-the-block, child actor Aman Siddiqui and the director Vivek Sharma. We're guessing SRK was there too, as the ghost...

Looks like those times have gone when senior artists were respected. Hating a person or not hating is all media hype as AB has stated, and come on he is human too. We grew up loving him just as much the younger gen loves SRK, so hating him just because SRK and he dont see eye to eye is not really justified. They are in different genres and zones. AB has done to indian cinema which no one else could do, he has changed the image, given it the stardom which all crave for.
