I had always wondered if there was some past bad experience behind Appa's hatred for people who migrate. And seems that is how it is. Did his son/daughter leave him and forgot all about him

Dilip Prabhavalkar in chuk bhool dyavi ghyavi was written well. We as audience connected with him when he denied going to UK, although it was in a comical way.

Appa looks pretentious to me. There shouldn't be any specific reason to hate Nachi, other than his bad accented Marathi.

After watchin yesterdsys epi thr must be something for that old guy to hv so much hatred towards -so called pardeshi

But its too much to tell the vendors not to deliver at gulmohar society so that nach will be hungry, so childish n evil😡

I think his girlfriend must have ditched him for a foreigner , why else would he have so much hatred for foreigners and 'phoren' things ?

Comedy genre ahe mhanun Appancha barach kahi khaptay ya show madhe. But honestly the man is a bit too much. Even after Nachiket saved Sai from that telkat if he cannot thank him properly then he comes across as a really 'chota aadmi' to me. And had he really been someone who loves Marathi as much as he claims he would have done everything to help Nachiket understand Marathi & Maharashtrian culture. Nachiket is a jovial person, someone else in his place would have labelled all Maharashtrians as boorish after Appa's continuous nonsense.

Anyways it was hilarious to watch his happiness on learning Nachiket has left. It will make his reaction on his comeback doubly funny 😆
