Yes but Alia only needed Raazi to ride on her shoulder to be hailed as the top heroine. I think DP just has to somehow prove herself with Chhapaak

Not really. I am not going on forum opinion. But just think about the trend na...there are 4-5 actresses debuting regularly to play flowerpot roles opposite the 50+ actors...because they dont want to retire.

Young actors mein we had Varun, Sid, ARK, Sushant, Ayushman...if someone new comes everyone will talk about him.

So now when there are young actresses ofc there is this curiosity.

Like I said DP and Kareena are in a different league. They are immensely popular and people still like watching their movies and they dont have competition. This has started from this generation where married actresses aren't considered old and outdated.

I think she over worked herself and was going thru depression as well...she needed that break it was much needed...and I think getting married and settling down is what she was looking for

I don't mind her getting work. Lots of nepo kids get lots of opportunities and still get them with out have an ounce of talent wthat so ever. Most of the actresses being debuted now like ananya dont deserve the films they are getting instantly with only 1 film. parineeti was atleast promising in her first few films, where she has proved she can act.

I think so too, or Alia's. But any of them can surprise us.

Raazi made over 100 cr. Alia became in another league after that film. Very few actresses have held a film on their own shoulders. Deepika is yet to give such a hit, even though I consider her miles more versatile than alia. Alia is falling into niche actress category for me.

forum hype? means? So, you think none of the actresses listed are able to match up to Deepika/Alia's films this year?

I think people are most definitely excited for their films the most from actresses, but we have seen actors in the past surprise us.
