Good that she got away from Dharma! Nahi toh she would get Alia, Janhvi and Ananya's rejected scripts. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 would also be a great choice for her.

DP is in a different category only now...she is like those actors who are kinda like veterans but they are still active kinda like Kareena...Chappak will do well but its all about the newcomers now

Maybe Shraddha won't become number one but she's already made her mark and the newcomers are nothing compared to her. Not even Sara.

Either way Kareena at least had some iconic roles (I'm not even saying she is a good actress), Shraddha doesn't even have something like Jab we met.

Sadly female actresses are faded out very quickly compared to male actors. Deepika is only 33 but already it's all about the newcomers according to some. Ridiculous

Sadly yes...3-4 actresses debuted this year. Idk which guys debuted who were mainstream hero material

And ofc its the same for male actors. When Sid and Varun debuted in 2012, everyone was talking about them. At that time the Khans were at their saturation point

If there was any actor who debuted this year and was remembered for his role, it will be about him too.

I love DP and her work...but she has been gone too long...the audience has moved on to find new insta crushes and gossip.

DP is not done and dusted, but like I said she is in a different category altogether now. She has no competition. Anything she does will do well. There has not been much news about Chappak and 83 World Cup as of now...when it starts it will show DP's star power...she is at such a position now that she doesn't need to be everywhere and have articles on her all the time...the newcomers do...thats why they are in the news and people are talking about them.

I think her big break after BM was a mistake. It feels like she isn't very interested anymore in acting. I mean I would understand this if she was in her late 30's but she is just 33, why not use that time especially when you are still so popular

She isn't paying attention to herself too..At times looks way older than her age

I hope so but I'm not sure. Chapak seems rather niche and I doubt she has a big role in '83. She has no other movies planned either at this time
