Part 1

Just a disclaimer this story is mainly for OG MaHer(PaRish) not new MaHer. If you are just a fan of New Seher/Bhavika then I will say just read the first 2 parts.

Hi everyone. This will be my last story on MaHer, and

then I will wrap up this book. I have planned of 5 chapters of this for now, if this gets good response or I feel like writing more will extend. But this will be my last MaHer work.

And yes before you start reading this, let me warn some may not like the Seher at first but there is a twist planned so do not stop reading 😉

Part 1

Niyazi Manzil,

It was dawn. Mahid looked at the balcony.

"Ya Allah, I am thankful for the life you have given me. You have made a capable Mufti, and I can bring change in society like I want to. Some time back, life seemed really empty to me. I felt lost. Misguided. But then..."

Just then, a mature voice disrupts his thoughts.

"Mahid..."

Mahid looked behind, and it was her...Seher.

(Assume Bhavika Sharma as Seher here. Note: Guys, just trust the process, twist abhi baaki hai 😉)

Seher: It's fajr time. Let's pray. After that, we have to go to the airport and catch the flight to Rajasthan. Insha is getting Kaiz ready, meanwhile!

Mahid and Seher start praying Fajr together. As they finish the Namaz, he looks at Seher, who is praying and making Dua.

Mahid: (in his mind) You brought Seher back to my life. I am thankful for that...but...but...I don't know why...it doesn't feel the same...I used to be moved by her eyes...I used to mellow down by her voice...I used to be entertained by her Kurafati! But now...it doesn't feel the same anymore...I get that Seher has matured a lot over the years, but still...I don't know what you are trying to show me...Almighty...I just hope I am not doing wrong...

Seher finished her Dua, and then she looked at Mahid.

Seher: What are you thinking, Mahid?! You finished your prayers and dua, let's go quickly! If not, we will miss the flight!

Mahid nods, and he takes both his and Seher's luggage.

Rajasthan,

Mahid, Seher, Insha and Kaiz landed in the beautiful town of Rajasthan. They stepped out of the airport and took the car.

They were amazed by the colourfulness of the town. The driver was also quite friendly.

Driver: Where are you from?

Seher: Lucknow.

Driver: Is it your first time here?!

Seher: Yes.

Driver: I suggest that all of you visit our mega fair that's taking place. That's one of the most happening events in Rajasthan. You came at the right time!

Insha: The thing is...

Kaiz: Ammi, before my surgery begins, I want to visit the fair?! Please Ammi!

Insha: But Kaiz, your surgery is tomorrow, how can we...

Kaiz: Please, Ammi, please!! I want to go on the rides!

Seher: Don't worry, Insha, the surgery is tomorrow. After we get refreshed from the hotel and take some rest, let's go to the fair now and then from there we will go to the hospital in the evening. I can manage the hospital.

Kaiz: Please, Ammi! Don't refuse.

Insha: Let's see what your Dimah says!

Kaiz: Dimah?

Mahid: Okay, fine, let's go. But don't get over-excited and tire yourself too much there, Kaiz, make sure of that!!

Kaiz: (happy) Okay, Dimah!

In the afternoon,

The four of them got ready and went to the fair. It was very busy and crowded there.

Kaiz was the happiest exploring the fair while Seher joined him too and took pictures. Insha and Mahid talked to each other.

Insha: Look at them, they are so happy!

Mahid: Yes. Looks like Seher herself wanted to go, so she managed it.

Insha: She is so nice and caring towards Kaiz. May Allah bless her. Can I say something as your sister since you made me one?

Mahid: Go on.

Insha: I think you should give her a chance, Mahid.

Mahid doesn't say anything.

Kaiz: Ammi, I am hungry. Let's eat something.

Mahid nods. They find an eatery, and Mahid tells them to sit.

Mahid orders two plates of pizza for Kaiz and Seher and two plates of Dal Churma for him and Insha.

The waiter places the Dal Churma and Pizza on their tables.

Seher takes the dal churma while Mahid looks at her. She quickly takes the pizza.

Seher: Silly me, I didn't even see the pizza. My favourite!

Kaiz and Seher are eating the pizza, while Mahid and Insha eat the Dal churma. Seher, while eating, kept eyeing the Dal churma. Mahid saw this.

Mahid: You can have it, Seher. I don't feel like eating anymore. I had a heavy breakfast.

Seher: Sure?

Mahid nods, and Seher eats the Dal Churma.

After lunch,

Kaiz and Seher enjoy some of the rides, and they also do some shopping.

Seher looks at some jewellery, and just then she sees Mahid from behind.

Seher: I am looking for the colourful ones, Bhaia. Like Kashmiri churri!

Shopkeeper: Madam, you came from Rajasthan, how will you get Kashmiri Churri here!

The shopkeeper shows some colourful bangles to Seher. Mahid buys it for her, and Seher smiles, looking at him.

Kaiz: Dimah, I want to get some cotton candy!

Mahid won't refuse Kaiz as always, and he got him some cotton candy.

Mahid: Let's go and find your Ammi now!

Mahid walks with Seher and Kaiz in between to find Insha.

Just then, he collides with a lady in a Rajasthani lehenga who is also eating cotton candy and with another guy. Her shopping bag falls from her hand to protect her cotton candy, so Mahid gets down to pick it up for her. She covers her face partially with her dupatta.

Mahid: I am sorry I didn't see...

Lady: It's okay...

It sounded familiar. Mahid was shocked as he looked at her.

It was those same pair of green eyes that moved him. Her voice had the same melody. And her antics felt the same.

(Assume Rishita Kothari as the Rajasthani lady , here is the twist 😉)

Lady: Thanks, sir!

Mahid: Seher...

The girl quickly got up.

Lady: Yug, let's go, Maaji must be waiting for us!

She left. Mahid freezed.

Seher: Is everything okay, Mahid?

Mahid left Seher's hand, and he started to run. To look for that same face. He shouted at the top of his voice.

Mahid: Seher!!!

Mahid tried to run among the barriers of the huge crowd of people at the fair. He ensured not to collide with them, but was looking for her! He looked around. She wasn't there anymore.

Mahid: (teary-eyed) Seher...

Just then, Seher came,

Seher: Mahid, what just happened?! Why did you just leave like that?!

Mahid was breathing heavily.

Seher: Relax, Mahid...

Insha: I think we should go now, Seher! Mahid doesn't seem well.

Seher nods as she calms Mahid down, and they leave the fair.

Later,

Mahid was resting in his room. He recalled how he collided with that Rajasthani lady. Her eyes...

Mahid recalls how he collided with Seher when they first met in the busy street of Lucknow. It was those same pair of green eyes. It was the same. But Seher...

Mahid tries to reflect on his moments with Seher years back and now. It wasn't the same anymore. Whenever he came close to her, his heart would beat strongly for her back then. He would get more excited. And now whenever he came close to her, he felt uncomfortable. As if he were doing something wrong.

Soon,

Seher opens the door.

Seher: Mahid, I have sent Kaiz and Insha to the hospital now. If you are feeling better, let's go!

Just then, Seher is shocked by what she sees

She finds Mahid pointing a gun at her.

Seher: Ma...Ma...Mahid....

Mahid's hand was shaking, and he was teary-eyed.

Seher: Mahid, what are you doing?! Leave it!

Mahid: Seher, remember this gun?! 7 years back, when you and I were investigating my Ammi's death?! Then what did you tell me?!

Seher was silent and blank.

Mahid: You told me playfully, Mahid, I married you for revenge. You pointed this gun the same way.

Seher eye widens, and she is confused.

Mahid: You wanted to take your revenge on your elder brother. What's his name again?!

Seher: (whispering) Ya Allah, please help...

Mahid: Tell me, Seher. What was his name?

Seher: Ahmed....

Mahid laughs as he remembers the name Seher used was Selim, not Ahmed, during her play.

Mahid: I knew it! My mind didn't accept, but my heart did! My heart knew it wasn't you. You aren't my Seher. So tell me who you are, if not, I will fire this gun!

Seher: Mahid, calm down. I will tell you everything. Just keep the gun down!

Mahid: Tell me, WHO ARE YOU?!

Seher: Yes, you are right, Mahid. (teary-eyed) I am not your Seher...

The gun drops from Mahid's hand.

Mahid and Fake Seher sit down on the bed.

Fake Seher: I am Dr. Sana. I am a doctor based in London and a part-time actress who has worked in theatres...

Dr Sana starts telling more about her real identity.

Dr Sana: I came to India, Kashmir, for a year to help the people here with my skills. I was supposed to go back to London after I was done.

But the day before I was supposed to leave, I met Dr Fareed.

Flashback

Dr Sana and Dr Fareed are talking with each other.

Dr Sana: Dr Fareed, it's nice to meet you.

Dr Fareed: Actually, Dr Sana, I need your help regarding a patient. Only you can help me in this. Moreover, you have studied neurology.

Dr Sana: Tell me more about the patient.

Dr Fareed: His name is Mahid. Mahid Niyazi. He is a Mufti in Lucknow. But then an incident happened. His wife... Seher Niyazi.... passed away in an accident.

Dr Sana feels bad for Mahid even though she doesn't know him.

Dr Fareed: That incident has deeply traumatised Mahid. His mental stability is not good. Like, sometimes he is normal, but sometimes he gets seizures and attacks. He keeps uttering her name. It's getting worse.

He needs to move on from Seher. The chapter named Seher needs to be removed from his life, or he needs to accept that Seher is no longer in this world! I need your help for that!

Dr Sana: I am really sorry for him. There are many therapists or neurologist that can help him with this! Why me?! I am leaving for London soon anyway.

Dr Fareed: Dr Sana, as I mentioned, he needs to move on from Seher. If we keep telling him or convincing him that Seher is dead, he won't accept. We have tried this method, but it has only worsened his situation. And I approached you because I know you are a part-time actress too. You need to act as Seher. To make him move on! I know it's a crazy tactic, but this is the only option that won't require him to be tortured. This is the last option.

Dr Sana: Yes, it is crazy! Me...how will I act as Seher?! It's not those TV dramas where I am her doppelganger or anything! This is unrealistic!

Dr Fareed: Dr Sana, I have heard a lot about you. That you like to experiment with methods for the well-being of your patients. Consider this as one too. Please, you can change someone's life.

Dr Sana gets thinking.

Dr Fareed: This is just for a few months. Once Mahid is okay and cured, you can move on and go back to London.

Dr Sana: But what if he doesn't recover?

Dr Fareed: Then we have the worst option, which is to go with an extreme option like shocks. I am not in favour of that. Someone like Mahid doesn't deserve to be tortured like that. But he needs to get Seher out of his mind and life.

Dr Sana: What is it I need to do?

Dr Fareed: My daughter Amaal...She is Seher's younger sister...She knows Seher well, so she will guide you on how to dress and act exactly like Seher. I have talked to Mahid's family we will create a vision for him that you are Seher based on how we all interact. We will force his mind to believe you are Seher.

Dr Sana: It seems to be betraying him...

Dr Fareed: I know, but that's for his well-being. Seher was bright and would have been a great doctor, but alas, life had other plans. Poor girl couldn't fulfil her dreams, she faced so many challenges! If Seher were alive and in your place, she would have done it.

Dr Sana gets thinking

Dr Fareed: You still have a whole day. Please don't say no. Think about it. You can change someone's life!

Dr Fareed leaves. Dr Sana decides to help Mahid. So for 15 days, Amaal stayed with Dr Sana to train her to become Seher. She helped with makeup and taught her how to dress like Seher. How to have the same hairstyle as Seher.

She taught her all the favourite things of Seher and how Seher would interact with Mahid, like calling him Jinn Ke Bhatije and having nok jhoks with him.

That way, after 15 days, Dr Sana changed her modern look to a traditional Dr Seher.

Amaal: Now you are good to go, Sana, I mean Seher...

As Dr Sana was about to go,

Amaal hugged her emotionally and cried.

Amaal: You really remind me of Seher.

Dr Sana consoles her.

Dr Sana: Amaal, consider me as your sister! I am just like your Seher Appi.

Amaal smiles.

Dr Fareed: Let's go now. Mahid's sister, Insha, has come with Mahid and her son. I have told her what we need to do. She is ready to help us. You need to somehow collide with Mahid. And he will get convinced you are his Seher cause of our help, and you do look like her somewhat.

Dr Sana nods. She looks at Mahid from a distance, who looks helplessly. She goes there to start the drama to convince him she's his Seher.

End of flashback.

Mahid couldn't believe what he heard with his own ears.

Mahid: So all these was a drama? You all were involved?

Dr Sana: Mahid, we did it for your well-being! We wanted you to cure!

Mahid: That was a cheap way to do it! Very cheap!

Dr Sana: I am sorry, but that was the last option. So you can move on from Seher. The plan was to make you hate Seher so you would move on from her forever. But the way you poured your emotions in front of "Seher", I didn't have the heart to continue this drama, so I changed the script to ensure I could comfort you the way Seher did. You know, Mahid, Seher is very lucky she had someone like you who loves her so much! She must be happy for you from the heavens.

Mahid: My Seher is alive!!! I know! I saw her with my own eyes!

Dr Sana: Mahid, I know the truth is very bitter to accept! But you need to accept it!

Mahid: Dr Sana...I have seen her with my own eyes today! In that fair...That Rajasthani lady...She had green eyes...just like Seher's. Her voice...just like Seher's. And her antics were also just like Seher's...my heart always knew you were not my Seher, that's why I wasn't fully comfortable with you...That lady, I am sure she is my Seher!

Dr Sana: That could be someone else, Mahid!! How will Seher be in Rajasthan?! And she is dead!!!

Mahid: (cuts off) It's all lies! We never found her body!! Ask Dr Fareed if you don't believe me. They declared my Seher dead because they found a dupatta of hers...But they never found her body!

Dr Sana: Okay, Mahid, relax...You need to rest now! Let's talk about it tomorrow. I assure you, I promise you that after Kaiz's surgery, I will talk to Dr Fareed. We will find Seher together, okay!

Mahid listens to her and goes to sleep as she gives him comfort.

Dr Sana: (in her mind) How do I tell you, Mahid, while acting as Seher and giving you comfort...I really fell in love with you...

In a small house in Rajasthan,

The same Rajasthani lady whom Mahid collided with looks exactly like Seher...OG Seher.

She was making roti, and then she recalled the guy who looked at her, surprised when they collided.

Just then, Yug comes to her.

(Assume Aman Gandhi who plays Ritik in Kyunki 2 as Yug)

Yug: Munni...what was the need to make rotis?! You were out the whole day, you should rest instead?!

Munni: I need to prepare dinner. We can't sleep hungry.

Yug: You could have told Maa Sa?!

Munni: Let it be, Maa Sa isn't feeling well. I will handle it.

Yug: Munni, you are always too nice! Think about yourself and your health, too! Come, let me help you.

Yug makes roti with Munni, and Munni looks. Just then, she gets a flashback of Mahid and Seher similarly making rotis.

Munni holds her head.

Munni: (in her mind) What's happening with me?!

Yug holds Munni as she was about to faint.

Yug: I told you, Munni, your health isn't good. Come, let me take you to your room and get some rest.

Yug holds Munni and walks her to the room.

Munni again recalls how Mahid used to put his hands on Seher's shoulder and insisted that she rest after they were out the whole day and night in Adamganj, and he didn't want her to work.

Munni shrugs off, and Yug also moves away. And she holds her head again.

An older lady comes out and sees this.

(Assume Bhabo from Diya Aur Baati Hum as Maa Sa)

Lady: Munni!

Yug: Maa Sa, Munni isn't feeling well.

Maa Sa helps Munni and takes her to the room. Munni is asleep. Maa Sa and Yug are there.

Yug: The doctor is coming soon.

Maa Sa: Poor girl!

Yug: (worried) I didn't know her health was deteriorating. But she really wanted to go to the fair!

Maa Sa: Even though she is not our Munni...She is just like her! Different face but same innocence and kindness. God took away our Munni and gave this girl instead.

Yug nods.

Maa Sa: Always keep her happy, Yug. She should not find out.

Yug looks at her.

End of Episode.

I will post the parts of this story on alternate days. I posted Part 1 on Monday , meaning will post next part on Wednesday. Might also be Thursday if there are delays.

Part 2

Hi everyone, I will extend this story to 7-8 parts. It may seem slow for this part but don't worry Maher will meet soon.

As Mahid was asleep, Dr Sana called Dr Fareed.

Dr Fareed: Is everything okay, Dr Sana?

Dr Sana: Dr Fareed, Mahid has found out everything. He knows I am not Seher!

Dr Fareed is shocked.

Dr Fareed: Wait, what...how come? I thought he really brought it! He was getting comfortable; everything was going fine!

Dr Sana: It was...until he claimed he collided with the real Seher at a fair in Rajasthan! I tried to convince him it's not her, as Seher is dead! But he didn't accept it! I told him I would talk to you and manage, and got him to sleep...

Dr Fareed: Oh dear, he shouldn't have found out! It's going to be harder now.

Dr Sana: Actually, he claimed that Seher's body was never found. Is it true?

Dr Fareed: Yes, it is true. Her body was not found.

Dr Sana: Dr Fareed, now that I think about it...Maybe Mahid might be right. That girl he collided with, I could only see her eyes. She did have green eyes as Seher did!

Dr Fareed: So you are saying there is a chance Seher is alive?! But the police found her dupatta, stained with blood!

Dr Sana: Maybe she did survive.

Dr Fareed: But how did she end up in Rajasthan?!

Dr Sana: I don't know, Dr Fareed. But now I think Mahid is right this time. So that's why I have decided I will help him find Seher.

Dr Fareed: Please do give me further updates on this.

Dr Sana agrees, and they cut the call.

Amaal: Why don't you tell Sana that you were behind Seher's death?!

Dr Fareed: Amaal..my kid..that's not true!

Amaal: Stay away from me! First, you couldn't protect my biological mom. If you had not let her leave the house, she would still be alive?! And then you couldn't protect my biological sister?! She last met you the day before she died! You couldn't find her either! After all, you wanted to keep me, so if I lose my biological family, it will be easy for you!

Dr Fareed gets teary-eyed.

Dr Fareed: Stop it, Amaal! It's getting too much now. I am sorry I couldn't save Seher.

Dr Fareed: (in his mind) I wish I could have saved Seher that day! It's still a mystery to me what actually happened that day?!

Scene Shift,

Yug: Doctor, how about Munni's frequent headaches? How long will this go on?

Doctor: I understand your concern. But you need to understand she recovered from a major accident. It will take time.

Yug: For how long, doctor?! It's been a while! I still remember the day I found her injured. She didn't remember things. I took her with me to Rajasthan. Maa Sa has already accepted her as Munni.

Doctor: I am sorry for your loss, Yug. It was unfortunate that your wife Munni passed away due to childbirth. But have you thought what will happen if this girl's family finds her?! What will you do then?!

Yug starts thinking.

The next day,

Mahid is waiting in the hospital with Insha being worried and praying. Dr Sana comes.

Dr Sana: I have gotten news from the surgeon. Kaiz's surgery was a success.

Mahid and Insha take a sigh of relief.

Dr Sana: He will come to consciousness in a few hours. Only one of you can stay beside Kaiz for now.

Insha goes in immediately.

Mahid: Thanks to Allah, Kaiz's surgery is a success. I hope he recovers soon. Tahir has entrusted him to me.

Dr Sana: Don't worry, Mahid, Kaiz will be okay.

Dr Sana tries to put her hand on Mahid's shoulder; Mahid moves away, and she moves her hand away.

Dr Sana: Mahid, I have talked to Dr Fareed, and I have decided I will help you in finding Seher.

Mahid: I don't need your help.

Dr Sana: You can't do this alone, Mahid. Please try to understand. I just want to help.

Mahid: The way you fooled me, I don't know if I can trust you anymore, Dr Sana. But I am thankful that you helped Kaiz with his treatment.

Dr Sana: I know, Mahid, our tactics weren't ethical. But it was so that you could be cured. So that you can find your Seher. I promise you the moment I help you find Seher, I will leave for London.

Mahid gets thinking.

Dr Sana: Kaiz will not be awake for some time. Let's go to the police station and file a missing report for Seher.

Mahid listens to Dr Sana. Dr Sana and Mahid go to the police station together. Mahid passes a photo of him and Seher during their Walima to the police and files a missing report.

It was quite some time in the police station, so they went to get dinner.

Dr Sana: Finally I can eat what I want. My traditional Gujrati dishes, as I am from a Gujrati Muslim family!

Dr Sana is eating, and Mahid eats too.

Dr Sana: Mahid, don't mind I ask you...I want to know more about yours and Seher's story. Amaal has only told me till the part you both parted ways due to Kausar Aunty's death. After that, we just didn't get the time!

Mahid gets into a flashback,

It was a day after Mahid and Seher walked in separate ways in the heavy rain after finding Kausar's corpse.

Mahid gets a phone call.

Young Amaal: Mahid, please come here...Seher...Seher's condition is not good!

Mahid quickly rushed immediately after hearing the news.

He went to the small house Seher and Amaal were living in!

Amaal is sad and teary-eyed.

Amaal: Seher has a very high fever! I tried to call Dad, but he isn't picking up!

Mahid touches Seher's forehead.

Mahid: Ya Allah, she is indeed burning up!

Mahid tells Amaal to bring hot water and a towel. Amaal does so, and then Mahid dips the towel in hot water and places it on Seher's forehead.

Seher: Ammi...Ammi...why did you leave me...

Mahid gets teary-eyed. He completely understood what Seher was going through!

He takes care of her. Dr Fareed comes later as it is evening.

Dr Fareed: Sorry, Amaal, I was busy with a surgery. I came as soon as I saw your message!

Amaal: Leave it! I never expected much from you anyway!

Dr Fareed checks Seher and then monitors her health, like checking her BP and heartbeat.

Dr Fareed: Her BP is low! And her fever is high! You did right by trying to bring it down.

Mahid: Seher will be okay, right, Dr Fareed?

Dr Fareed: She will be alright. But looks like she is still under severe trauma. Her condition wasn't good yesterday when I dropped her and Amaal home. She really needs more support. Mahid, I think you need to be there for her!

Mahid: But how, Dr Fareed?! She hates me! She still blames me for not saving her Ammi!

Dr Fareed: Seher is not in a state of mind where she can think sensibly. Plus, she is too young. Give her some time; she will understand.

Mahid: She isn't wrong, though. I promised her I would save Khala, but I couldn't....

Dr Fareed: Don't be harsh on yourself, Mahid Miah! Sometimes, some stuff is not in our hands. I wish I could have stopped Kausar from leaving my house; maybe she would have still been alive...

Mahid: You are right, Dr Fareed...it's all written. It's destined to happen. I just hope Allah makes it easier for Seher.

Dr Fareed nods.

Next day,

Seher wakes up, and she sees a tall figure standing and talking to some guys. She recalls how some people tried to chase her and her Ammi. Her Ammi told her to climb the tree due to her injury, as she couldn't run. And she did. And then her Ammi waved her bye. If only she knew this was the last time she would see the shiny face of her dear Ammi...And then she remembered how she found her Ammi's dead body. Her face fully smeared in blood...as if almost unrecognisable. Her dear Ammi...what have they done to her dear Ammi?

Seher got furious. She found a thick stick nearby. She took it. She got up and went to hit the tall figure and the other guys. He looked behind, and it was Mahid looking at her, shocked.

Mahid: Seher...

Seher: You killed my Ammi!! You hooligans!!!

Mahid: Seher, I am Mahid...

Seher: Mahid, let me go! I won't spare them! They harmed my Ammi!!! (shouting) They killed my Ammi!!!!

Seher goes to hit those guys, but Mahid manages to stop her. Those are some other guys. They get scared and run.

Mahid: Seher, it's not them!

Seher: Leave me, Mahid, I won't spare them!

Mahid: Seher, by doing this, your Ammi won't come back!

Seher starts hitting Mahid on his chest with her hand continuously.

Seher: It's all your fault, Mahid!! You couldn't protect Ammi, and now you let them go! Those hooligans!

Mahid: Seher...Seher..SEHER!!! (shaking her)

Seher stops hitting Mahid and freezes.

Mahid: Seher...I am sorry for your loss...but they are someone else...I understand your pain...I understand...I lost my Ammi too...Khala... initially we didn't get along...but gradually she treated me like her son... as if she tried to give me some love my Ammi would have...May Allah grant Khala Jannah. She deserves it. Her kind soul deserves it!

Seher cries, hugging Mahid. Mahid knew at that moment it wasn't about his principles but more about comforting Seher... she needed it badly...

He caressed her head.

Seher cries while Mahid lets her do so. Even he gets teary-eyed with her.

Mahid wanted to tell her he would be there for her. He tried to touch her shoulder to reassure her but stopped.

Seher: Ammi...

Seher hugs the grave of her Ammi. Tears escape from her eyes and drop on the soil.

Seher: I hope you will have a great rest. You never had one in this harsh world. Allah, please forgive all my Ammi's sins. You know her well. You know how pure my Ammi was.

Seher was silent as if she was having some moment with her Ammi. Mahid let her be and went out and waited for her.

Soon,

Seher came back. She was sad, but she was slowly starting to accept that her Ammi was not in this world.

Mahid: Let's go, Seher. I will drop you home.

As Mahid was about to go in his car,

Seher: Forgive me, Mahid.

Mahid stopped.

Seher: I was really harsh on you these few days! I kept finding and looking for my Ammi! I kept blaming you. But I forgot that you faced one of your biggest pains. Losing Dada Huzur. That one person who really loved you, Mahid...

Mahid is silent. He recalls his Dada Huzur. He remembers how he would always take his blessings. He knew he would be a great Mufti and always told him why he chose him. When no one had faith in him, his Dada Huzur did. He didn't want to fail him.

Tears start to drop from Mahid's eyes. Seher wipes them.

Seher: Dada Huzur was really proud of you, Mahid. Amaal told me. You became Mufti. You will be a great Mufti and bring change to society. You will not disappoint Dada Huzur.

Mahid: While praying for your Ammi, please keep Dada Huzur in your prayers too. Forgive him if he did anything to hurt you. His intention was never bad; it's just that his thoughts and principles were different.

Seher: I know, Mahid.He was the first person who accepted me in that house. Even before you did. He always had hopes in me, not sure why.

Mahid: He wasn't wrong. You are indeed very bright.

Seher: Mahid, always make him proud. Don't do anything that will disappoint him.

Mahid nods.

Seher: Please forgive me again for my behaviour. I was so selfish in my own troubles that I forgot yours. Maybe that's why Allah gave me such a big punishment.

Seher: I have heard from others. You are doing great. You are bringing changes. People are liking you. Dada Huzur would have been proud of you.

Seher also had tears in her eyes. She had to accept with a painful heart that her first love wouldn't be her last, and she walked away.

At night,

Mahid was sitting on his rocking chair, and he got a phone call.

Mahid: Hello...

Voice: Seher has met with an accident!

The phone drops from Mahid's hand.

Mahid gets out of the flashback.

Mahid: I wish I had told her earlier...how much I loved her...But my principles...

Mahid and Dr Sana went to the hospital. They went to visit Kaiz. He is a strong boy and was smiling despite the pain. Mahid appreciated his strength.

Mahid went out of Kaiz's room. He was walking, and in the opposite direction, Munni was walking slowly. She didn't notice the splash of water on the floor.

As she walked, she didn't notice and slipped. As she was about to fall, Mahid quickly went to hold her. They looked at each other emotionally. As if they knew each other. For years.

Just then, flashbacks of their Walima, when Seher was about to slip due to the exposed wire, and Mahid held her. It was as if, almost a recreation of it. Munni holds her head again.

Mahid: (worried)Seher...

Just then, Yug comes to her. Mahid is confused.

Yug: Munni, are you okay?!

Munni nods.

Munni: I am still having these headaches.

Yug: Don't worry, Munni, you will be okay.

Yug thanks Mahid for saving Munni.

Mahid was about to say something.

Nurse: Munni Jii, the doctor is calling you in.

Munni and Yug were about to go,

Nurse: Your husband cannot go in, Madam. It's just you!

Mahid gets shocked hearing this.

Munni: Yug Jii, you wait here; I will go in.

Yug nods.

Munni looked at the guy, confused and lost. As if she knew him but also didn't know him....She goes inside the doctor's room.

Yug: Are you drunk?!

Mahid: What have you done to my Seher?! She is my Seher, not your Munni!

Yug is confused and widens his eyes, shocked.

Just then, Munni comes back, and she separates them.

Munni: What are you doing to my husband?! Leave him!

Mahid is shocked.

Mahid: Seher...

Munni: Who is Seher?! I am Munni! And Yug Jii is my husband!

Mahid is shocked!

Sorry if this part was boring. I wanted to show Seher understanding Mahid situation like he also lost his Dada Huzur instead of kept blaming him for not protecting her Ammi.
