And then same night, the same man tells her to maintain “maryada “ and that stuff about “paraya mard”
If I was her, I’d be completely befuddled. Devastated. Wonder if I’ve understood him right. I’d be out of my mind. In this situation i don’t blame Babita for wanting to leave. No man, whatever his intentions has the right to point a finger at a woman’s character to make a point. With or without god’s forgiveness. To me, what Ashok did in the court and what HS said then are one and the same.
This series has been about emancipation of women. I hope they will allow Babita the dignity she deserves.
I guess you are not understanding argument , noone denies that HS did terribly wrong by saying those words but still your comparison with Ashok on that was really out of blue .. Ashok was married to her and he insulted her in public due to his ego, HS is not married to her and what is difference between Babita saying to him when he brought camera that what are his intentions and his calling out same to her here..As a woman yes we understand her hurt more but people are saying that she should have walked out due to those words but instead she walked out believing that he murdered his wife... culpable homicide .that's where people are calling her out..
