i mean be clear...

my observation is that they are confused ... maybe this is not planned but then tend to show this pattern

in same manner men tend to show same pattern..they dont go to movies for female stars..they dont care about female sports

so there is herd mentality in both but in men its for one direction...in women its for confusion or direction that does not make sense

one can say they are more positive ...but i dont think even men do it as negative..oh i wont go an d watch katrina's movie..so nothing is planned their

so it must be in genes...or maybe its environment..its whats norm.

i cant tell

but definitely women show strange behavior..maybe too much selfless..

then as a reaction u get some extreme views to the other side

anyway just my casual observations lol..dont take it to heart

and keep ur chakkos in pocket..

You are right it is a combination of genes, environment (social conditioning), tradition etc. historians for sure don’t know why patriarchy thrived. There are theories but nothing concrete.

I think that women are not confusing. They are just like men- they have preferences, desires, wants & needs. Since forever women’s needs & desires were whatever their men needed. It worked for survival. But now women do not need to rely on men for survival so they are voicing their needs & desires. There is no formula for wooing a girl anymore. You just have to know the girl you are wooing & figure out her needs & desires & adjust. Women have been doing this forever. The difference is alpha & violent men ruled the world while alpha & violent women were forced into submission. Maybe they can now find each other & be violent with each other & one can be sub sometimes & another can dominate. That’s cool. But no forcing. It all goes down to consent. Women are still evolving. So are men. We are all trying to get past our ancient survival instincts which we do not need as much anymore in the civilized world.

Just my personal thoughts here.

Most Indian women of the villages and olden times love their husband no matter if they are like Kabir Singh or even worse. If their husband beats them, they say their husband was drunk, not in his right mind, it's occasional but he is not a bad man. If their husband cheats on them, the woman is a wh***, he was seduced, it's my mistake. And I find such woman so common today that I feel something's wrong with me. I feel that such philosophies change after marriage.

Maybe it all started with equality and then males due to their physical strength took over and setup a system which is now the norm and where women are always in a catching up role

in some places they have made effort to control the male beast and keep it on leash so there catching up process is going better than other places

but simple liking and supporting and getting crazy over old men like salman et al ..i mean no one has forced them to do...

men on the other hand are always on the look for young girls like disha patni and married women like kareena kapoor no one goes to see their solo movies

anyway good points u made

Maybe, A wife would know it better about their man. I am not denying it, i know it happens. But, For example, Who knows if someone is trying to wrongly accuse someone of rape, or maybe someone is making conspiracy against him to malign his character & image and maybe, wife/Gf is aware of it since she know, he cant do such thing and if your wife wouldnt support you in such incidence, who would do that? Bajuwali?

I think it has all to do with how much people are obsessed with another one and what society thinks of.

Men or women alike, tend to ignore the bad habits of someone they love/desire. It is the social pressure which makes some men act tough while make women act suppressed.

I can garuntee if society wasn't putting pressure on men, most of them would have forgiven their women for cheating like Rustom did, while most of the women who forgive their men would have left them still their would be a sizable number of women, who despite being powerful enough socially, still keep would have kept their husband while harassing the other women in their life because of the obsession with the said men.

Having lived in Meghalaya, one thing I am certain, men or women, given social power, cheat on their partners and suppress the socially weaker gender.

Here in our state, the three main tribes: Khasi, Jaintia and Garo, women have more authority, so most of the men are reduced to baby giving tool, children don't respect their father, women go around with other men and have multiple marriages and divorces. Not everyone, their are families with values and happy couples like in patriarch societies, but most of them in the town side it is true.

Ladies, let's be honest. The line is as thin as the guys's looks... Hot rich guy or ugly troll. Flattered acceptance or repulsed rejection is based on this...

Maybe u are right. If Kabir and Christian were played by Shady looking actors who usually play Villains, the response could have been very different.

I have witnessed this happen atleats 5 times since I was a kid. Two married woman had husbands who used to cheat on them while the wife was in the house and when the women told them, they blamed the women but did not even bother to confront their husband. Few years back, a man was openly cheating on his wife and she started starving her kids and praying her husband comes back. He did but still keeps cheating on her and they live like a happily married couple. Another couple/s have abusive husbands wherein one man beats his wife after 30 years of marriage while the other husband bangs his wife's head on the cylinder. They both love their husband and act as if nothing has happened.
