You know guys, its actually very difficult to judge how an actor is these days.

A lot of acting depends on writing. Take Zain for example, he was so so good in Naamkarann. But he wasn't great in IB, why? Because they made him a magician

Even one of favs, Jennifer W. was way better in Beyhadh than in BP.

Kunal was good in IB, but most of the time stagnant in DBO. Because they completely switched his character.

So, I really don't know whether the actress playing Chanda is good or not. I think the writing of the character is really horrible. Except the two emotional scenes with her kids, she is super duper annoying.

The makers of this show put a lot of effort into Jahnvi's character, but I think now that the show is on air, they should write other characters well too. Specially Kabir's, because most ppl are watching either for Shrenu or Zain or both.

But here everything is OTT .. again its her characterisation and writers fault ....She was good in emotional scene lfew week ago with her kids .. OTT MAKEUP AND LOUDNESS ruins everything

About Makers putting effort on Jhanvi character ..How come Dhruv, PK, Amma, Shail, Comisiioner, Manohar manage to capture attention ??

PS- First time I am watching Zain and frankly speaking I liked Kabir -PK, Kabir-Dhruv, -Kabir-suman , Kabir-Jhanvi scenes.. he is a good actor ..But as i said Kabir-Vyom-Kavya Plot is very weak and writers did not put too much effort or may be put lot of effort but it failed

Because all of these characters are revolving around Jahnvi's arc.

I really do think they can add layers to PK's character though. Sometimes he just seems too stupid. And an easy target.

The parallel track of Kabir-Kavya needs better writing, in my opinion.

I think the trouble is the makers didn't think of anything else other than the romantic track for KK. That is what they advertised from the beginning. Shrenu was supposed to be the revenge and Kabir is supposed to be the romance to balance but somehow the romance is not working.

That is due to the story line. The writers are not thinking logically. KK to a certain extent is an arranged marriage. Any marriage takes time to adjust. This KK marriage will take even longer due to the circumstances. To all of a sudden show all these eye lock, hair flying, and falling and emotional, makes the characters and their love fake. Then the audience cannot connect. That is what is happening. Zain is a fabulous actor but I am unable to connect with his emotions and thus I feel he is over acting. Which is not the case, he is acting out what is written. It is the problem with the story.

I am sure that is the case with Chanda. OMG, they really need to tone her down.

Ishani and suman revolved around Jhanvi also .. but failed to impress audienc.. My pov.. but Arush manage to do though he did not revolve around Jhanvi ..Just saying

@Bold- Sounds uber cliche, yet I wouldn't mind if kabir did perhaps of some feelings for kavya. Kavya definitely loves/loved vyom, problem is vyom isn't male lead so he's getting sautela treatment from writers in favour of male lead kabir. Kavya ka saara pyar kabir par hi lutaayenge, vyom ke liye babaji ka thullu 😆

I actually like Ishani, I mean, Tina. She has impressed me more than Tanvi. Ishani has a volatile character. I don't like Ishani when she is being vampish to Kavya-Arush. But I like Ishani otherwise, especially when she is making fun of PK 😆 Tina has got a lot of screen presence, this is my first show of hers, but after Shrenu, Zain, and Ayub, I like Tina best.

Your suspicion is correct. It is in fact the way a character is written and the way a scene is directed that allow's an actor to act properly, but when characterisation is terrible as well as writing and direction, even an actor's acting lacks conviction as usually actors work by putting themselves in the shoes of the character to understand how their character would feel and react in a situation. When the actor themselves struggles to put themselves in the character's shoes or understand their character (especially if dialogues given are badly written too) then actors would struggle to make their character likable or believable.

Bold this would have worked also if makers did not rush to make kavya kabir married couple.. Kabir could have brought Kavya and child in the house after Vyom death , fight with PK so they can get shelter in Mittal House, Kavya emotional breakdown after vyom death, etc etc then falling in love slowly gradually ...

This would have worked very well..But Makers made them married couple so easily, made vyom double agent , Kabir betraying country by hiding vyom truth and feeling guilty all thw tiem.. and another thing makers never shown kavya tninking about Vyom , suddenly when she saw Army man in Mittal house she started Vyom Chanting ..and today she believed Kabir so easily when he disclosed about Vyom and called him traitor ? Is it that easy to accept just because kabir is saying ???? Mny loop holes in the Angle ..thats why Kavya-Kabir-Vyom trak is very illogical and weak

Yes her character is annoying but she did not impress me.. i can tolerate her as she is Jhanvi sister 😆
