That’s why I mentioned in my post ..... WANTING TO BE PART OF EACH OTHER’S LIFE ..... because as friends you can easily avoid being part of life but as life partners one has do that ...

Jokes apart I don't know how this works in opposite genders, but for us it's not easy because we have so much in opposite to each other , I am bit conservative person and she is very progressive so yea we both sometimes have some heated arguments but in all that one thing that binds us is emotional connect with each other and mutual respect for each other and trust that no matter what we will be having each other's back even in lowest phase. 8 years and still counting. Parica does have this friendship is what I feel but this needs more time to grow into life long commitment😆

I can so relate to what you said, Just that in my case it is a group of friends😆

I am so different from the rest of the group, me being the least interested in partying and stuff and it increases with each one of them exponentially, but I have had the most interesting and meaningful discussions with them

I still wonder how I landed with them, 9 years and still counting, *touchwood* they are the best thing that has happened to me

PS: All of them are females again 😆

Yes definitely different but in my view a relationship built with friendship as a base are very strong compared to normal relationships. A good friend will be a good understanding life partner as they will know you as a different person in friendship and added layers in romantic relationship and can easily understand better if something messes up

@ bold : Definitely ! Being friends, even the best of friends some where draws a limit / hesitation to conveniently ignore some things

As couple, It needs a good amount of time to decide on that but even then one does not figure it out completely

It also depends on the extent to which they are willing to adjust with each other's habits if they become part of each other's life... Some do, some don't
