No chances of CID coming back even when channel says it will be back with new format.

what I cannot understand is channel could have aired "banked" episodes as at the moment they are stretching Indian Idol with no eliminations for the past few weeks. If they had stuck to their original finale date of Indian Idol, then CID could have been accommodated.

Soon for the weekend schedule, channel will loose in TRP's, bearing i =n mind only KBC giving TRP to them in weekdays and that show ending soon

It is sad CID is coming to an end. It was one of my favourite shows growing up. It was very unique, meaning, even though it was a crime show it could still be watched by whole family. But it has been twenty years , so I think maybe, they should change it a bit, still keep it family friendly and bring it back. CID should try to move channels if their mistreatment at the hands of Sony continues. I think Zee would be the best bet. If I am right, they don't do crime stuff, so CID would be a good addition to their content library.
Did you know - B.P.Singh also created the iconic, edgy, Marathi police crime thriller serial Ek Shunya Shunya(100) starring Shivaji Satam, Deepak Shirke and Ajay Phansekar.

I think it is a good decision by Singh to go off air, instead of being in a irregular time slot. They have to bring in some changes to add new fan base but they also need to retain the core cast. Trying to move to another channel is a good idea as the person above said.
