Raman remembered the past incident and said -I know ishita, tum mujhse naraaz ho, bahut naraaz kyunki Maine tumhare zabardasti shaadi ki. But I didnt had any option,jaan.i just can't let anyone hurt u in any way. I can't let that bloody subbu badmouth about u. I can't let him think cheap about u. I have to save u from that monster and for that I wanted authority over u. Aur Maine toh bhi kiya bas uss authority ke liye kiya. Just because I wanted to protect u,kyunki pyaar karne ka matlab sirf comfort karna nahi, usse protect karna bhi hota hai. He was lost in his thinking when he felt someone gaze on him. He raised his head and saw ishita standing there.
Raman -kuch chahiye tumhe??
Ishita nodded and said -can u come to the room, mujhe akele mein darr lag raha hai.
Raman -mere rehte tum jaise darr sakti ho. Chalo, he said getting up. He walked out of the room while ishita start walking behind him. He stopped for a minute and held her hand.
Raman -aage peeche nahi, we will walk together. He said and both went inside.
Raman saw their was plate in the room.it was kept covered.
Raman -tumhara khana yahan kyun hai??
Ishita -woh de kar gayi, Kaha mujhe neeche aane ki zarurat nahi.
Raman -kisne kaha, maa ne??
Ishita -simmi ne.
Raman -aur tumne maan liya.
Ishita -haan, thik hai naa. I can eat here.
Raman -no, u can't. Neeche chalo sabke saath khao. Saying so he was taking her downstairs when she held his hand and said -let it be, Raman. Woh gussa hai, aur unka gussa hona banta bhi hai.iss tarah aapne bina kisi ki sune, she was saying when Raman said -toh galti maine ki naa,why they r torturing u for that.
Ishita -mujhe koi problem nahi hai.
Raman -but mujhe hai, no-one can treat my wife like this.
Ishita -jaane dijiye naa, Raman. Please. She said with pleading eyes not wanting to stretch the matter. That's when the help came to call raman for dinner.
Raman look at the help and then at ishita. She pleaded him not to say anything, so raman said -mera bhi khana yahin le aaiye. Today I will eat in my room only. He said to which help nodded and went.
Ishita look at him and said -u shouldn't have done this, Raman.
Raman -mujhe har kuch mat seekhao. I know how to handle people.
Down stairs, toshiji got angry hearing this and was about to go and shout in ishra wheh simmi stopped her and told her to do all this tomorrow after raman leave for office.
Toshiji nodded and send the food. Raman took the food and said -lets hace food.
Ishita -aap kha lo.
Raman -kyun, tumhara fast hai kya??
Ishita -nahi, I am not feeling hungry. Aap kha lo.
Raman -come with me, hum saath mein khayenge. He said and pulled her to himself. He took a bite and forwarded it to ishita. She held his hand and said taking the bite -main kha lungi khud.
Raman -i know u can, but still I want to do this. And now u can't deny me, kyunki mujhe haq hai.
Ishita look at him hearing her, he signalled her to eat. She didn't said anything just had food from him .raman smiled and start eating.
Both had dinner together and then Raman said -chalo tum so jao, u must be tired.
Ishita -aap kahan soyenge??
Raman -u don't worry about me, I will adjust. He said and settled on the couch after washing his hands.
Ishita -aap please bed par so jaiye, I will sleep on couch.
Raman -ji nahi, I am comfortable here. Tum so jao. He said and tried to sleep. Though he was trying to be normal but ishita could feel his discomfort.
She walked to raman and said -please raman, aap bed par so jaiye. I will sleep here.
Raman -nahi ishita, I don't want u to compromise. Tumse shaadi karna mera faisla tha toh har problem bhi mujhe jhelna chahiye. Waise bhi it's not a big problem. U sleep comfortably. He said and closed his eyes again.
Ishita thought for a while and then said -aap bed par hi so jaiye, she said to which he was saying something when she said -mere saath.
Raman look at her all shocked when she said -agar hamari shaadi ho gayi hai toh we can share the bed. I can't see u in pain coz of me. Main corner mein thodi si jagah mein adjust kar lungi. Aap aaram se so jaiye.
Raman -r u sure, phir kal mujhe blame mat Karna.
Ishita -aap aa jaiye. She said and went to bed while he too went to bed all smiling.
Ishra settled on the bed, ishita was sleeping in the farthest corner ,Raman thought to say something but then choose to ignore. He settled on his side of bed and was looking at ishita.
Ishita -raman, please so jaiye. Agar aap aise mujhe dekhte rahenge toh I can't sleep .
Raman mouthed a sorry and turn other side. Ishita felt relieved and slept. Then Raman turned to her, kissed her cheek and said -meri jaan, meri ishita. Saying so he hugged her tight from back and slept.
At midnight, ishita turn and slept hiding her face in his chest, Raman pulled her more closer and slept peacefully.
Next day, Raman was first to wake up.he saw her sleeping peacefully in his arms. He smiled and kissed her temple.
Raman -this is the best morning of my life, thanks for being so near to me. He said and went to freshen up as he had an early morning meeting. He got ready and left for office.
Toshiji and simmi smirked seeing this and was all ready to trouble ishita.
In Ishra room, ishita got up at her usual time and it took her some time to realise where is she. When she realised that she is in her in laws house, she got up and get ready to go downstairs.
After an hour, ishita went down wearing a green saree.she was going to kitchen when she heard toshiji saying-simmi, keh de isse,isse joh chahiye mil jayega. Isse hamare kitchen mein ghusne ki zarurat nahi. She said in hatred filled voice.
Ishita turned hearing this when Simmi smirked and said -sunn toh tumne liya ho hoga. U don't have to go inside the kitchen. Joh bhi chahiye hoga keh dena, hum dilwa denge naukaron se. She said making ishita's eyes filled. This is the new type of insult she was bearing that she is not allowed to go inside the kitchen.
Ishita -main, kitchen ke ander, kyun?? She asked taking pause.
Toshiji -simmu, Isse keh de ki iski har baat ka jawaab nahi dena mujhe. Tell her to go or else I know other ways to throw her out. She said making ishita's teary.
She turn to go to her room when he held her hand. She raised her eyes and look at him. Ishita nodded in no, signalling him not to ask anything but raman asked ignoring her plea-kya hua maa, kuch problem hai. Aap log ishita ko kyun rok rahi hai kitchen mein jaane se.
Toshiji and simmi got up hearing his voice. They were looking at each other when Raman said -main kuch puch raha hoon, why u guys r not letting her go inside the kitchen??
Simmi -bhai, Aap toh office chale gaye the??
Raman -yeh mere sawaal ka jawaab nahi,tell me why u r stopping ishita.
Simmi -woh kya hai naa bhai. Abhi ishita ki, she was saying when Raman said -bhabhi, call her bhabhi. She is ur bhabhi.
Simmi -haan, matlab bhabhi ki rasoi chuyane ki rasam hogi naa, then only she can enter the kitchen.
Raman -oh, toh kab hogi??call pandit ji and ask.
Simmi -after a week. After that only she can enter the kitchen.
Raman -oh, OK toh ishita ek hafte baad hi kitchen mein jayegi. Rasam ke baad, warna kaun usse rok sakta hai. After all she is my wife .iss ghar ki bahu hai, naa maa, naa simmi. He said looking at toshiji and simmi making then go red in anger.
Toshiji -haan, maharani hai woh. She said gritting her teeth when Raman said -ishita, breakfast kar lo, then I will drop u to ur clinic.
Simmi -ab kya karegi clinic jaa kar, joh karna tha woh toh mar liya usne.
Raman glared her and said -ishita is a working lady, uske paas ghar mein baith kar planning aur plotting karne ke siva bhi kaam hai.she has to go to save life of ungrateful people like u. He said making simmi angry.
Simmi -kya matlab, main ungrateful hoon. Grateful hone ka matlab yeh nahi ki apna bhai de doon iss banjh ko. She said making Raman glare her in anger.
Raman -simmi bas. I told u hundred times to call her with dignity warna mujhse bura koi nahi hoga. Koi bhi nahi. Neelu, mere aur bhabhi ke liye nashta lagaa, we have to go to our work. Baakiyon ki tarah velle nahi hai hum. He said and take ishita upstairs in context of getting ready.
Ishita's eyes was full of tears and she burst into tears the moment they reach their room.
Raman -jaan suno naa. He was saying when ishita said -yahin chahte the naa aap, ki saare log mujhe insult kare. What was the need to do this. They r not wrong, they just can't see me with u, kyunki main aapse kaabil nahi hoon. Main aapse badi hoon aur banjh bhi hoon. She was saying crying when Raman hugged her tight not able to console her anyhow. She tried to break the hug but he held her firmly and start consoling her hard giving her his warmth.
He hugged her for long and her hiccups lessen. He cupped her face and said -forehead kiss toh love making mein nahi aata naa, toh I can kiss u on forehead. He said and planted a feathery kiss on her forehead while she closed her eyes feeling his touch. He smiled seeing her content face and hugged her again while she hide more into him.
