Raman was shocked to see ishita checking simmi and asked to his mother -ishita yahan kaise aayi??
Toshiji -whar do u mean by kaise aayi?? We called her, actually Anurag called her because being her doctor, she may know more clearly about simmi's health. Main toh keh rahi thi, ki kisi aur ko dikha doon but Anurag wanted her only. Waise tujhe kya problem hai. Hope u r still not interested in that barren lady, she asked making Raman angry. He was about to say something but composed himself seeing the situation.
Raman -i think yeh sab baatein hum baad mein bhi kar sakte hai. For now simmi is important.
Toshiji -whatever,i just want that lady away from my family and u. Saying so she went close to simmi while Raman was still on the door. He was looking at ishita continuously and thinking, how can she be so normal after hearing so much of taunts, after getting so much insult. Ishita raised her eyes feeling someone's gaze and look down seeing raman looking at her.
She start working again but this time she wasn't able to concentrate on her work feeling his gaze.
Ishita -excuse me, I just come. She said and without waiting for another second she ran to her room.
She closed the door tightly and said to herself -control ishu, control. U should not loose urself in his eyes. He is nothing for u, kuch nahi lagte woh tere. Please control. She said and stood there closing her eyes.
After two minutes, she went and start treating simmi.
After an hour or so, ishita was in her cabin while bhallas were standing there with Anurag.
Anurag -kaisi hai simmi, everything OK naa.
Ishita -haan, she is OK. Actually unhe infection ho gaya tha, she was saying when Toshiji said -woh toh teri di hui dawa hi kha rahi hai, toh infection kaise hua. Kahin tune hi toh kuch aisa nahi diya,jiski wajah se usse infection ho jaaye and we have to bring her to u. Taaki tu mere puttar par dore daal sake. She said making Raman angry.
Raman -kya bakwaas kar rahi ho, maa??
Toshiji -no puttar, I have to clear what she want. yeh simmi ko thik karna bhi chahti hai yaa nahi. Warna aisa kaise ho sakta hai, ki saari medicine lete hue bhi usse infection ho jaaye.
Ishita -medicine can't do anything, if u start eating and drinking which is not allowed. Simmi ke stitches mein problem hui, kyunki woh bahut oily khana khati hai and more then that she use to drink. Being a feeding mother, she shouldn't drink. Aur operation ke kaaran toh usse aur bhi jyada saavdhaan rehna chahiye. But no, she is eating and drinking lavishly resulting to this infection. It's not because of my poor treatment maam.its because of her carelessness. She said making Anurag angry.
Anurag -what is this, mummy ji. I left her with u so that she is taken care well but she is drinking here. Ananya ke baare mein bhi nahi socha usne peene se pehle. This is not done.
Toshiji -aisa kuch nahi hai puttar, she is lying. Meri simmi nahi peeti. She said glaring ishita.
Anurag -toh kya doctor jhooth bol rahi hai. I think mujhe simmi ko apne saath le jaana chahiye.
Toshiji -nahi nahi, how can u. Uska operation hua hai, ananya bhi choti hai. Let her be here, main vada karti hoon, ab aisa kuch nahi hoga.
Anurag -i really don't know whom to trust and whom to not. He said and went out in anger.
Toshiji -yahin chahti thi naa tum, ki meri bachchi chali jaaye and Raman take u home.
Ishita -main aisa kuch nahi chahti. And don't bring our personal problem here. I work here,u please go to ur daughter. She said and Toshiji went out angrily. Ishita hide her face in her palm feeling helpless and tears start flowing from her eyes.
She was crying when she felt someone's presence and raise her head only to see Raman standing there.
Ishita wiped her tears in a jiffy and almost shouted -go raman, jao yahan se.
Raman nodded in no.
Ishita -please, she said in broken voice.
Raman nodded in no and walked towards her locking the door so that no-one can interfere their conversation.
Ishita got up seeing him coming near to her and said -what u r doing, go Raman, please go. She pleaded again when he come very close to her and said -dont cry, ishita. I can't see u cry.
Ishita look at him hearing his words and both shared an intense eyelock. A tear fell off her eyes again which he wiped and nodded in no. They were looking at each other all lost when ishita realised what she is doing. She broke the eyelock and said looking away -jaiye yahan se raman, simmi ke paas jaiye.she needs u.
Raman -simmi ke paas Anurag hai, please let me be with u. He said wrapping his arms around her. She tried to resist but he hold her more firmly making her break. She start crying holding his hand while he turn her and hide her in his chest.like ishita got what she was looking for, someone's warmth to release her pain. She hide her face more into his chest and start crying bitterly while Raman was just stroking her back consoling her.
She cried for long hiding in him while he was just hugging her tight consoling her when they heard a knock on door -doctor.
Ishita raised her head in a jiffy like someone caught her stealing something. She broke the hug and said going near the door without opening it-yes.
Nurse -doctor, Dr Mishra is calling u.
Ishita -coming, she said and was going when Raman hold her.
Ishita -jaiye yahan se raman, please jaiye.aur mujhe bhi jaane dijiye.
Raman -i will not, till I get answer of my questions.
Ishita -kaise sawaal??
Raman -why u never fought back, ishita. Maa ne tumhe kitna kuch kaha, why don't u answered her back.
Ishita -unki kya galti hai, she hates me because she thinks I am trapping u. Woh maa hai, aisa soch sakti hai. How can I fight back with her. Ek banjh aurat ke saath apne bete ko dekh kar anybody will react that way only. She said looking down.
Raman -its not like that, ishita. Tum kyun khud ko itna degrade karti ho.
Ishita-its like that raman, aapko jawaab mil gaya naa. Now please go.
Raman -yeh toh maa bhi baat hui. aur woh aurat, who was taunting u in the function. Usse kuch kyun nahi kaha. He asked making ishita look at him.
Raman -haan, I saw her. I saw how she was insulting u, tumne usse kuch kaha kyun nahi.
Ishita -oh, toh yeh hamdardi uss liye thi.
Raman -hamdardi nahi hai, pyaar hai mera. Joh tum samajh nahi paa rahi. But not to worry, I will make u understand but first tell me who was she and why she was insulting u like this.
Ishita -mujhe kuch nahi kehna, let me go.
Raman -kehna padega, batana padega tumhe.
Ishita pushed raman and said -kyun bataun, who r u, ki main aapko kuch bhi bataun. Nahi batana mujhe, she said and was going when he hold her again and said -aaj puch diya, dobara mat puchna, ki kaun hoon main tumhara. I am ur raman ,I have given myself to u and has every right to know about u. So u have to tell me who was she.he said holding her firmly.
Ishita- let me go raman. Mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni.
Raman held her tight by hand and said -but mujhe karni hai, I want to know that who was she, joh tumhe aise curse kar rahi thi. And why u were not answering her back. Mujhse toh bahut ladhti ho, unse kyun nahi ladhi.
Ishita -kis baat par ladhu, boliye,kis baat par ladhu. She was right, Main banjh hoon toh hoon. Manhoos hoon toh hoon. Iss sach par kaise kisi se ladh sakti hoon. Waise bhi, I can't say her anything. Woh subbu ki amma hai, she was saying when Raman said -oh toh yeh baat hai, woh subbu ki mother thi. Thik hai, tum bahut sanskari ho.tum unhe kuch nahi bol sakti. But why ur parent were silent. Kya unhe apni beti ki insult hote dekh kar bura nahi lagta.
Ishita -lagta hai, kyun nahi lagega. But they can't ruin one daughter's happiness for other. Aur waise bhi meri zindagi mein toh khushiyan hai hi nahi. Uske liye akka ki khushiyan kyun cheene. She is my elder sister's mother in law. Unhe kuch kehne ka matlab hai, akka ko problem. Toh it's OK naa, agar meri thodi si insult se akka apne ghar mein khush rehti hai, toh mujhe koi problem nahi hai.mil gaya jawaab, now let me go. She said and was going but turned again and said -mujhse dur rahiye Raman, aapka mere kareeb aana kisi ke liye achcha nahi hai, saying so she went while Raman was just looking at her retreating figure.
Raman smiled and said -everytime u make me fall a little more for u and then u say me to stay away from u. Aisa kabhi ho payega kya. Kabhi nahi. Mujh dikh raha hai ishita, ki tum kitni takleef mein ho and I promise u that I will take away all ur pain. Kyunki pyaar ka matlab sirf care karna nahi, takleef mein comfort karna bhi hota hai. Kya hua agar koi tumhare liye nahi hai, I will always stand by u. Tum chaho naa naa chaho. He said looking at her and soon went to meet simmi.
