Happen to see a copy of application form floating on twitter..it shows dob 1990 & gender male for applicant Pragya Arora and husband name is King Sing?😆

Firstly guess King is a British citizen, secondly if Pragya hasn't returned to India for close to 7 yrs from London, then she can't open normal SB account in any Indian bank but only an NRI account.as she isn't a resident Indian.in 7 yrs period guess for that atleast 6 months she needs to shown living in an Indian address..😛 Pragya claimed to have just accompanied King for his business contract tour in India as his manager and meant to stay for couple of months, Pragya seems also clear that King & she aren't married in reality..

(NRI school admissions in Indian international schools don't happen so easily, and there also she lied about her identity, kids paternity, her marriage and went ahead to admit her NRI kid full term in an international school that too without any verification of proofs? when in reality they are going to return London as soon as Kings' contract finishes, so what's new with inconsistency? btw King, Pragya & kid could have just landed in India only a biz visa that may expire in few months... )

Hope KKB writers/cvs/asst directors/art directors etc. would have gone to some city banks in India to open their savings bank account some time in their life.. Now in most cities major banks only do digital application processing using online KYC's so customers don't need to fill up application forms manually..😳 Next its not mandatory to write husbands name on any bank application form..(father / spouse / guardian would be the column usually) and nobody asks for your husbands date of birth. 😆 Other important thing is, if one isn't legally married then writing a fake husband's name may get caught later on during verification process which will be plain illegal... all photo identity proofs, address proofs, NRI status proofs, passports etc. usually go thru verification process in banks..(dob, marital status, surname, husband / father / guardian name may need to tally in all proofs attached?)

KKB 2014 initial track was Sarla being worried that Pragya is getting 30 yrs old but all her marriage alliances been breaking (at that time her dob 1984 so it'll be 41 yrs in 2025 post leap) 😃 KKB crew that worked in 2014 either suffered severed memory loss or has moved out of show, or plain complacent but doesn't Sriti playing same role of Pragya all these years remember her core character definition?

PS.
(Hope some mid school interns aren't writing and directing these scenes and creating these forms, atleast they could have done a minimum google search, even if not visited any Indian bank branch or haven't watched / worked 2014 KKB episodes)

If she's not a British citizen and still has an Indian passport, she can have an Indian acct.

But she is still considered an NRI as she claims to have not visited India in 7 yrs on same passport..now she has no address proofs of being resident Indian for atleast 180 days, till she establishes that proof, guess banks usually give NRI accounts before changing them into regular resident Indian SB accounts..

180 days rule applies only to those who are foreign passport holders. NRI can be someone who's living abroad on a visa but is still an Indian citizen. Not sure if Pragya is a foreign citizen!! And not sure if the show will go into details about this!!😊

I never heard father or husband being asked proof when mentioned in such forms..
even if the other person already has an account in the same bank and introducing someone for a new account, I never heard a marriage certificate being asked for such purpose...

Its evident there is no basic consistency in KKB land that daily soaps need to follow in linking their episodes & plots together and detailing always goes for a super toss with this team..😳 Guess it was established in Apr Pragya never returned to India after she left for London even for any holidays or business visits till she has accompanied King. Her passport copy would prove if she is just NRI or British citizen and that would be proof ideally she would be attaching while opening a new bank account.

now that's where I mentioned simple google search could have helped the crew..anyhow I'm not an NRI.. you folks know much more details than me..

A Non-Resident Indian (NRI) is a citizen of India who holds an Indian passport and has temporarily emigrated to another country for six months or more for employment, residence, education or any other purpose.

An Indian citizen leaves India for the purpose of employment, business, education, stay with parents/ children, with the intention of staying abroad for an uncertain period. In such cases, he becomes a NRI the moment he/she leaves India, even if he/she has not stayed abroad for 182 days or more during the financial year.

According to the act, any Indian citizen who does not meet the criteria as a "resident of India" is a non-resident of India and is treated as NRI for paying income tax and in case of bank operations.

According to the FEMA regulation, it is illegal for NRIs to hold a resident savings account in India. You will need to convert your resident savings account into an NRO account. ... Local Indian income cannot be credited to NRE Account but only to NRO Account.

Primarily there are two reasons for opening such account: NRI wants to repatriate overseas earned money back to India and/or NRI wants to keep India based earnings in India. NRI has the option of opening a Non Resident Rupee (NRE) account and/or a Non Resident Ordinary Rupee (NRO) account.

Guys, 😆 It's interesting they're showing this!! I haven't watched the show recently. I'm going through this bank stuff myself as I'm visiting India now. Banks do ask for spouse's name if married when you're opening an account and they didn't ask for marriage certificate!

The way I look at it is, it is not a matter whether banks or schools need proof of marriage or not. It is one's personal responsibility not to falsify information😒😡, not because somebody is checking it. This is what is bothering me more than anything😲. She said that she will only act as Mrs. King in times of dire need when his reputation needs saving. What kind of reputation is she saving by opening some stupid bank account?👎🏼 Is it mandatory to have " a" name in the space of "husband"? Is there a rule/law that unmarried, separated, single women can't open bank accounts?

The stupid writers are outdoing themselves these days😡👎🏼. On one hand they show Abhi with not even an iota of guilt or remorse meandering around as it he is the wronged one, with soulful puppy dog face and on the other they show Pragya doing all kind of nonsense in the name of "saving" reputation. Do they think they will be equal-equal by showing that both of them do these blunders and hurt each other? Do two wrongs make it right? Total rubbish👎🏼
