Episode #62

*Another filler really!

People are getting murdered in the village of phulera by some lady in all black attire. They hear her wailing and pointing towards their own dead body, before she kills them with an axe. Last victim ravish was found dead recently and vikrant and aditi come to the village to investigate.

Vikrant was driving a Jeep this time. As they enter the village, he tells Aditi that he needs to buy one of these as soon he returns to Mumbai. Its fun to drive. Aditi smiles at this. (As they get out of the Jeep and walk towards the crime scene there is nice slomo and bg music, loved it!)

They reach the crime scene and Aditi sees a spot on the ground and asks the PI if anything was found there. The PI tells they didn't find anything and vikrant decides to visit ravish's house. When they reach the victims house, his mother tells them that ravish's wife was pregnant and he was returning home from the midwife's place. Vikrant asks if they don't have any hospitals in the village and the mother replies that hospitals are for rich people. They are informed that ravish's wife had lost her girl child that night too, she was born dead. They hear the wife's voice from inside and go to meet her. Aditi tries to talk to her but she had lost her mind completely and doesnt say anything. Vikrant calls Aditi and they exchange a look. They go out and they take the midwife's address and they go to see her. The midwife, everyone calls her daaima, tells vikrant and Aditi that the girl was born too weak and there was no way to save her. Vikrant and Aditi leave from there discussing that the child's death could not be a natural incident. That night another man is killed by that lady in the jungle. But this time there was a eye witness who saw a lady in black. Next morning, vikrant and Aditi were at the police station when they get a call regarding the murder. (There were two tea cups kept in front of them and the first thing that vikrant did when he got the call was finish his tea. See dead is going to stay dead anyways,no point in wasting good tea!😆)

Vikrant and Aditi visit the crime scene and Aditi again feels something weird at a spot on the ground. [ That's where the lady in the black used to sit waiting for her prey] They question the eye witness who mentions the lady in black. When they return to the police station, they're informed by the PI that last victims wife hadn't come to claim his deadbody. The PI also tells them about a community of women, called Ruhasian (rudaali) who stay outside the village and they dress in black and match the eye witnesses discription. Vikrant goes to question the last victims wife who tells him she's happy her husband is dead as he had killed their new born daughter coz he only wanted a son. Aditi visits the community and questions a woman named lata. Lata gives her very vague answers and tells her that no one cares about what happens to them, they're only called to cry at people's funeral. Aditi returns to the police station and calls vikrant. He tells her about the common link that he found between the two murders, the dead infants. Aditi tells him that she suspects that lata was hiding things from her too. She decides to check some old case files and vikrant tells her that he will join too. Later they together check the files when vikrant finds a years old case file related to lata and her sister Rupa. At the moment the PI comes and tells them that two more people had been attacked in the jungle by the lady, but they were not dead though. It was daaima and another guy named Santosh. They visit santosh's house first who's muttering something along the lines of "wo mujhe maar dalegi". His son tells vikrant that his father had gone to drop daaima home after cremating his newborn grand daughter as she was born dead, and since then he was behaving like that. Vikrant understood that it was a scam and new born girls were killed in the village. Next morning vikrant and Aditi visit daaima, where she tries to lie her way out of it but vikrant tells her that they know the truth that she kills infants. She's scared and confesses that she only tells that they're born dead, but they're actually killed by their own family and Santosh too had killed his granddaughter. They arrest her and Aditi tells vikrant that she might know how to find that lady in black.

Later Aditi visits lata again. She asks her about her sister Rupa. Lata is hesitant at first but later tells her that Rupa had fallen in love with a guy named Narendra Singh and they had a daughter. But Narendra wanted a son and he buried his daughter alive. Seeing that Rupa had killed him with an axe and when she was being arrested, angry villagers had killed her too. Lata also adds that the girl staying with her, paro, was actually Rupa's daughter that she had saved and raised as her own. Aditi realizes that Rupa's spirit still thinks that her daughter is dead and to take revenge she's killing the people who kill their daughters. She calls up vikrant who was at santosh's house and tells him the truth. He tells Aditi to come to the house with paro. Inside the house, vikrant warns Santosh to confess to his crime, Santosh denies doing anything and the lights flicker. Santosh sees Rupa with an axe in the room, he begs to her to leave him. Vikrant who couldn't see her, tries to negotiate with her and gets attacked mutliple times. At the moment Aditi bursts through the door with paro in tow and asks paro to stop and tells her that her daughter is alive. Paro calls out to Rupa and she disappears. Vikrant grabs Santosh who was her hiding under the bed and arrests him.

While they're leaving for Mumbai vikrant asks Aditi if she's ready for the next mission. She asks which and he tells her that she has to help him but a new Jeep. She tries diverting the topic with a "chalein?" And he orders her "help to tumhe karni padegi!". (Wish they had shown their faces during this convo.)

Episode #63

*Fallen neck-deep for gashmeer 😳

Gunjapura, uttarpradesh. Veena and tarun visit his uncle's house at night. Tarun's aunt takes tarun upstairs to meet his cousin kartik. Tarun switches on the lights once inside the room and his aunt disappears and he finds his cousin dead on the floor. He turns around and is killed by his aunt with a knife. Tarun's wife runs upstairs and sees his aunt, Rama exiting the room with bloodied hands.

Aditi and vikrant visit the local police station where the PI informs them about the double murders. He also tells them about the eye witness. They question tarun's wife who tells them that Rama killed her own son and tarun because she wanted to have their entire property. The PI tells them they cannot arrest Rama as she was traveling during the time of murder. Vikrant and Aditi visit the thakur house. [Vikrant took the police Jeep again] They meet baba triloknath over there who tells them that the family is cursed by "behrupiya" they had managed to defeat it last time but it has come back again to end the family. The baba leaves after a while and vikrant and Aditi question the family. They tell them that Veena and tarun had a property dispute with them over the ownership of the house. They tell them that they had to leave the house 10 years back because of the behrupiya and that they had only returned few days ago. Aditi questions them why this behrupiya is after their family. To which they reply they have no idea but the younger son replies that this time its because of him. One day when he had gone to baba triloknath's ashram he saw his brother injured on the road and brought him home. But halfway he realized that it was the spirit in his brothers form and ran back to the house. Since that day they had been seeing the ghost around. Vikrant and Aditi leave the place discussing about the case, aditi wonders why the behrupiya only attacks this family and how the baba might have saved them last time. Vikrant decides to get the family history. [Gashmeer hit his head on the door while he was getting into the Jeep😆] Inside the house, rama feels sick and her husband tries calling the doctor and he and his son leave the room. Rama hears something outside and comes out to see Veena with a knife at the door. She advances towards her but Rama's son hits her on the head and she falls unconscious. At night vikrant goes through old case files in the police station, he finds out about Agarwal family. The daughter Swati had been killed by the behrupiya and taking her form it had killed the entire family.

Next morning, Aditi visits triloknath's ashram. He tells Aditi he knows about her ability to fight evil. Aditi switches the topic and asks about behrupiya, so he tells her that last time the behrupiya had taken swatis form and he had identified the evil when he had discovered her dead body. This time he plans on using all his powers to defeat behrupiya again. Aditi gets a call and leaves the ashram. She's called to the hospital where Veena was admitted. Aditi tells Veena that attempt to murder is a serious case and she's lucky that the thakurs have not logged any complaint against her. Aditi gets another call from vikrant asking for updates, she tells him about Swati, vikrant tells her that 10 years back there was a case where behrupiya had attacked the Agarwal family. Later the local PI hands vikrant swatis case file and tells him that there was a property dispute between the thakurs and the Agarwals. That night when Rama gets food for Veena she sees swati's reflection in the mirror instead of Veena and leave the room.

Next morning, the PI hands vikrant another file regarding the old property dispute and they realize that half of the property was given to the thakurs and other half to that baba. The Pi also mentions that swatis mother is still alive and vikrant asks him to sms the address to Aditi. He himself calls up aditi and updates her on the situation. Aditi visits Agarwal house where swatis mother tells her that Behrupiya killed her daughter. She mentions there were Behavior changes in Swati before her death. But baba triloknath identified the evil and Captured it. Aditi leave the house and Calls vikrant, she mentions her doubt that someone must be dead already in thakur house for the behrupiya to take it's form. Vikrant suspects it could be Veena and asks Aditi to keep an eye on the thakurs. He reminds her,

"Aditi yaad Hai na meine tumse khwabon ke bareme Kya kaha Tha? Jab hum humari samne ki sacchai pe vishwas karna chhod dete Hai, tab humari aankh khul jati Hai aur wohi sacchai humare liye khwab ban jati Hai. Jab tum wahan nazar rakhogi to thakur parivar ke kisi bhi sadasya pe vishwas mat karna. Pata nahi wo behrupiya kab tumhare liye sacchai ban jae. Dhyan rakhna."

At the thakurs Rama gets scared of Veena and sends her husband to call the baba. At the police station, vikrant finds out that a member of thakur family had died 10 years back before Swati and the baba had lied about her being the first victim. He visits the Baba's ashram and peeps inside through the window. [The way he had held that Baba's guy's neck between his knees!😆] Vikrant saw ramas husband talking to baba about the spirit. Baba asks him to transfer his house on his name in return for solving the problem. He agrees, as he was leaving, he's taken into custody by vikrant. At the police station, he confesses that he had killed his elder brother because of the property dispute 10 years back. He had gone to baba for help who had inturn aksed for half of the property and framed and killed swati. Vikrant asks him to call the baba at the thakur house. At the thakur house, in veenas room, baba offers to save Veena but he asks her to be either his servant or hand over her property. Outside, Rama takes her husband and son to another room. As they enter the room they find Rama already dead on the floor and realize it was the spirit. It's too late and swatis ghost kills them both. Hearing their cries vikrant bursts through the door in slomo. We see Aditi entering veenas room and asking triloknath to leave her. Veena runs out of the room and he protests that Veena is the behrupiya. Aditi replies with a smirk on her face that it's not Veena it's her. The door shuts automatically locking them inside and the spirit attacks triloknath multiple times with a knife. Outside the room, vikrant hears the screams and runs back to the room.

As vikrant bursts into the room with his gun aimed at whatever that is in there, he's shocked to see Aditi killing triloknath with a knife. His gun is aimed at her but he's not able to shoot her. Aditi (behrupiya) looks at him, with her face all splashed with blood. Vikrant stumbles backwards and hits the wall, it was Aditi but the look in her eyes wasn't Aditi's. He has the expression of utter shock and confusion and defeat on his face. [Omg gashmeer's acting!! I was holding my breath! 😭😭]

At the same time real Aditi comes running in the room, she sees swati's ghost standing with a knife over triloknaths deadbody. Vikrant is relieved to see real Aditi but he's still in shock, he blabbers about seeing her killing the guy and says that it was the behrupiya. Looking at his condition Aditi asks him if he's fine and he lies that he is. Later at police station, vikrant is standing at his desk, the visual of aditi killing someone still haunting him. Aditi comes near and calls his name twice before he comes out of his thoughts. Aditi tries defending swati, but vikrant is still in shock from what had happened. He gets agitated and tells her,

"Meine khud tumhe kaha Tha, ke kisi pe vishwas mat karna. Pata nahi wo behrupiya kab tumhare liye sacchai ban jae. Meine kaha Tha tumse! Tum wahan mere samne khadi thi, tumhare hath me khanjar tha, tum us admi ko bhonk rahi thi, mujhe samaz Lena chahiye Tha k wo tum nahi ho! Behrupiya hai! Lekin Mei goli nahi Chala paya! Mei nahi Chala paya goli. I mean it was so real! Tum thi wahan pe Aditi! Mei.." he finds it difficult to express what he had experienced, Aditi looks at him with concern but he continues,

"Mei..Mei.. mujhe samazna chahiye Tha. Mujhe samazna chahiye Tha wo behrupiya Hai. Lekin mere samne thi Aditi, tum thi! Mei nahi Chala paya goli. Kyunki wo tum thi!" He looks at aditi intensely with a helplessness in his eyes and his voice. [Omg I was internally screaming!! Why is this guy so talented??😭😭] Vikrant adds "kuchh chize.." and Aditi completes his statement, ".. humare bas me nahi hoti, hum use kitna bhi badalna chahe lekin wo nahi badalti.."

That's it??? Why???? That guy poured out his heart that he felt helpless when he saw ur reflection murdering someone but he couldn't shoot it because it was you. And that's all you had to say??? Kucch chize humare bas me nahi hoti? Wo sabko pata Hai! Lekin uske kandhe hath rakhna tumhare bas me Tha! Use ek hug Dena aur bolna ke sabkuch thik Hai, tumhare bas me Tha!!

Episode #64

*Penultimate episode of Anjaan season 1😭😭

At varun's house, his sister in law, Rashmi, finds him crying in a room, talking with someone asking them to leave him alone. When she asks him whats wrong, he tells her he hasn't done anything wrong. He asks her to leave otherwise "she" will kill everyone. They hear a scream from outside and Rashmi goes to check. As she enters the next room, she saw some blood covered foot prints leaving the room. As she follows the source of blood, she finds her husband jeevan's body on the floor, throat and wrists slit and a snow globe covered in blood besides him, soft music playing in BG.

Next morning, vikrant and Aditi reach the crime scene. Vikrant recounts Rashmi's statement and she blames Varun for her husbands murder. Rashmi's FIL interrupts and says his son cannot kill his own brother. But Rashmi insists it was Varun. Vikrant asks her to tell exactly what had happened and she repeats the story, this time she mentions Varun talking to himself. His father tells that Varun often mentions a minakshi. But neither of them know anyone with that name. He also informs vikrant and Aditi that this had been happening since varun had returned from his business trip to Chennai. Next vikrant and Aditi go to varuns room to talk to him. There they find Varun sitting by the window. When vikrant questions him about his brother,he says "wo kisiko nahi chhodegi." Vikrant asks if it's minakshi and Varun motions him to not to take her name. Aditi asks him about her, and he tells her that minakshi believes him to be her husband. Vikrant gives Aditi a knowing look (I'd say he was trying to hide his laughter). Varun continues and tells them he hadn't killed his brother, Aditi tells him they believe him but they need to know more about minakshi. Varun tells them, minakshi stays with him. Before he could continue any further the door to the room closes on its own. They all turn towards it and as the camera pans out, we see the armchair in the room moving too. Varun tells vikrant and Aditi to leave as minakshi doesn't want to talk with anyone.

As they leave the house, vikrant tells Aditi that he has a doubt on Varun, Aditi adds that there was another presence in the room stopping Varun from talking to them and it could be minakshi's spirit. Vikrant agrees as the case facts put Varun in a different room at the time of murder but Rashmi considers him responsible, adding,

"Ha ab hume bulaya Hai to bhoot aur pret ka mamla to hoga hi."

"To fir plan of action Kya Hai ACP Saab?"

"Plan of action yehi hoga ke Mei, Varun ke sare office ke colleagues se puchhtach shuru Kar dunga, tum uske gharwaalon se uske karibi doston ke number le lo. Pata karte Hai ye minakshi Hai kaun. Aur waise bhi ye minakshi ka bhoot yahi Hai to tum yahin rahogi to accha rahega."

Next day police station, vikrant gets a call from Aditi informing him that none of varuns friends know any minakshi. At varuns place, Rashmi again hears him talking to minakshi. She peeps through the door and sees a lady sitting on the armchair. She runs out of the room and calls Aditi, who tells her to get Varun to leave the room somehow. At the police station, vikrant questions varuns friend anurag who had gone to the business trip with him. Anurag too denies Knowing any minakshi and tells vikrant that he doesn't think Varun would kill his brother. At night, varuns father manages to get him out of the room. Rashmi and Aditi who were hiding, take advantage of this and go into varuns room. While searching, aditi picks a book from the table and as she turns she sees a lady standing in the room. She immediately drops the book. Varun enters the room and the lady disappears. He asks them to leave the room.

At the police station, Aditi tells vikrant about the lady,

"Are u sure tumne use dekha?"

"Ha vikrant, meine use dekha, wo sachme minakshi thi. Vikrant uss Puri family ke life danger me Hai, trust me."

"I do." [Does anyone get it? 😉]

Then they start pondering over minakshi's story.

That night, Varun again read the book, "Meri atmkatha" and Rashmi asks him to stop reading it, but he continues and rashmi calls Aditi again. But due to network Aditi couldn't hear anything. When Aditi reaches the house, she snatches the book from Varun, but he takes it back and tells minakshi will kill everyone. Aditi manages to take the book back and runs out with it. She calls vikrant and gives him the details, he asks he to stay at the house. Next day vikrant calls in the books publisher for questioning. [Idk why there is a weird close up shot of vikrant tapping his fingers on the table. It has nothing to do with the case tbh] He tells vikrant that it's a very unlucky book, his friend who had read the book, started behaving strangely and killed his entire family. He adds that after that incident they had destroyed all the copies of that book. Hearing that, vikrant takes out the book from the drawer and puts it in front of the guy. He gets scared and tells vikrant that the book is dangerous even for him. He later adds that the book was written by a convict surjit. Vikrant finds out about the jail and visits the jailor, he tells that surjit was hung till death around 15-18 years back. The previous jailor who knew what was written in the book had died 2 yrs back. The new jailor tells vikrant that the book contained surjits wife, minakshi's story, how she had killed his entire family. At Rashmi's house, she finds a snow globe in her room. When she comes out, she sees Varun sitting over his father's deadbody with a bloody knife. He tells her minakshi killed his father. Rashmi wakes up and realizes its a dream. When she comes out of the room, she sees minakshi and starts running. Aditi stops her and they got to varuns room. They find the entire room was destroyed and Varun sitting in a corner tearing papers while asking for that book. Aditi leaves the room and calls vikrant. She tells him to burn the book in order to save Varun. He is hesitant at first as the book is the last piece of evidence. But Aditi convises him to do it and he burns the book. That night, rahsmi tells Varun that he doesn't need to be scared of minakshi as she's gone. But Varun tells her that she's still there. The armchair in the room moves and they all get scared. Varun starts talking to her and tries stopping her from doing something. He tells Rashmi and his father to leave the room. Rashmi calls Aditi again for help. Aditi tells her to take everyone and leave the house at that moment.

Aditi ends the call and tells vikrant she was wrong and minakshi hadn't left yet. Vikrant gets frustrated that they're missing something, as he speaks he realizes that the original manuscript is still there. He calls up the publisher and asks for the manuscript. The publisher tells him it might be in the store room and gives vikrant the address. Vikrant tells Aditi to go to Rashmi's house and that he will find the manuscript. Aditi asks what if he doesn't? And he has no answer. Vikrant goes to the store room and searches through piles of old books. At the house, minakshi attacks the entire family. Aditi rushes to varuns room as minakshi was trying to attack him with the knife. She tries to talk to her and stop her but she doesn't stop. But before she could attack varun she disappears. At the store room vikrant find the manuscript and sets it on fire.

Next day, Aditi is sitting on a compound wall facing the beach, and vikrant comes and stand next to her leaning on the wall. Aditi starts speaking,

"Bohot hi ajeeb case tha ye. Samaz me nahi ata ke ek kitaab se minakshi ki atma kaise jood gayi thi."

"Humare to sare cases ajeeb hi hote Hai Aditi."

"Haan lekin issbar ye ajeeb case solve karne ka shrey apko jata Hai ACP sir." Aditi looks at vikrant and he blushes and diverts the topic, moving a bit closer to her,

"Congratulations to you, aakhir tumne apni tarah mujhe bhi ajeeb bana hi diya."

They smile at each other and Aditi turns her face back towards the sea, vikrant keeps staring at her for a while. [She was his sea]

Camera work was superb today! Nice close up shots, lots of location shots, it finally felt like they're in real world!

But I think the last scene was apt for the penultimate episode. I could live forever with the way vikrant was looking at Aditi today.

Episode #65

Season 01 finale.

In vedpur, it's night time, chintan is walking home with his young son rishu. When they reach the house, rishu runs inside to meet his grandparents. Chintan too enters the house and switches on the lights, he finds his parents standing in the living room. He tries asking them why they hadn't picked his call, they don't reply anything and he hears a cry from inside the house. He runs inside to check on rishu, he finds rishu crying, looking at his grandparents dead bodies. ** Gets chest pain looking at this and falls unconscious. Rishu tries waking him up but he's dead. Camera pans on the superman toy rishu carried with him.

Vikrant and aditi are traveling to vedpur in their car. Vikrant asks Aditi,

"ASP aditi Sharma, Accha batao, aiski koi kitaab bani Hai, jisse tumnhe jaana ja sake?"

Aditi smiles and questions, "kyu? Aisa kyu bol rahe ho?"

"Nahi kabhi-kabhi hero ki tarah gundon se lad padti ho, saare bhoot-pret dost Hai tumhare. Apne dad ka phone ate hi bacchon ki tarah uchhal padti ho, aur kabhi kabhi gumsum rehkar kiss soch me rehti ho. Waise filhal Kya soch rahi ho?"

"Kuchh nahi. Waise aap Meri personal life me itna interest kyu le rahe hai ACP Saab?"

"Arre.. itne dino se ek sath Kam Kar rahe Hai, itne sare cases eksath solve kiye Hai, ek baar to tumne meri jaan bhi bachai Hai. Ab apni colleague ke bareme thodi bohot personal information rakhne ka haq to banta Hai."

"Accha? Isse pehle Jo colleague thi uske bareme sab pata hota Tha?"

*Situation was fluffy so far, now tenses up as vikrant speaks*

"Isse pehle sirf ek hi colleague thi meri, use thik tarah se jaan nahi paya."

"Shivani.. ek acchi officer ko..."

"..vanraj ne maar diya. Aur Mei kuchh nahi Kar saka."

"Vikrant khud ko dosh dena band Kar do. Jo bhi hua usme tumhari koi galti nahi thi.."

"Vanraj khuleaam ghum raha hai use badhi Kya galti ho sakti hai?"

"Vikrant mujhe khud se jyada tumpe bharosa Hai, ke tum vanraj ko dhund hi loge." 🥺

They have a short eyelock.

At the local police station, vikrant asks the PI about the case, but instead he calls in rishu and asks him to tell vikrant what had happened. Rishu is scared and doesn't speak, Aditi tries coaxing him but vikrant tells her to let it go as rishu is in shock. He asks the PI again who tells them that they had found rishu outside the police station, and his father's and grandparent's dead bodies were found at home. And when they had asked around, everyone had told them that they hear cries at night. Entire village of vedpur can hear it, it comes from everywhere. Aditi suggests that they should visit the crime scene once. They go to the house and look around. It didn't look like a crime scene at all. They discuss the cause of death, all 3 victims had died of natural causes, their hearts had stopped beating. Aditi suggests that she should talk to vaidhji who had helped her last time. Vikrant decides to meet the villagers and they part ways. Vikrant walks through the entire village but there was no one to be found. Finally he sees a man and stops him. Vikrant introduces himself and questions the man about the triple murders. The guy denies knowing anything about that but when asked about the cryings at night he confirms that the entire village can hear it. It's been happening for a few days and people stay in during night due to fear. Vikrant asks more about chintans family, he's told that chintans parents owned a shop outside the temple. Almost everyone in the village was somehow related to the temple. Vedpur is believed to be a very auspicious place which now seems to be cursed. Vikrant asks him for a favor. He asks if they could keep rishu with them for the night as it's not safe for a kid to be at the police station. The man agrees and vikrant tells him that he'll drop rishu at night.

Aditi reaches vaidhji's house and starts looking around for him. She hears a noise at the cupboard and goes near it. She opens the door and finds a pair of yellow eyes staring at her. Aditi stumbles backwards, an earthen pot filled with red liquid breaks next to her. She turns around and sees a guy with pale white face, siting on the floor, grinding something. She sees the door to the room closing and runs out just in time.

It's evening time and the entire village looks abandoned. At the police station, entire staff notifies vikrant that they're leaving for the day. Vikrant gets mad at this and reminds them of the pledge they had taken before joining the duty. He zaps them for abandoning their duty when vedpur needs them the most, he adds that he doesn't need people like them, he's capable enough to help save everyone. The staff leaves and vikrant is left alone in the police station with rishu. Vikrant goes up to rishu and wakes him up. He tells rishu he's taking him to tanuj's house. Rishu tells him he's scared and vikrant takes a seat next to him. Vikrant tries to ease the situation, he asks rishu who is favorite superhero is : superman. Vikrant smiles at this. He tells rishu one of his childhood stories, he had fallen while riding bicycle, so he got phobic. He was scared to ride a bike again, but his father encouraged him to ride the bike again and he overcame his fear and that year he won the cycling competition. Vikrant tells rishu not be scared and hands him a piece of paper with his phone number on it and asks him to call if anything goes wrong, he'll come with the speed of a super hero. Later vikrant takes rishu to tanuj's house and asks Tanuj to try to keep a pleasant atmosphere around him. As he was leaving vikrant gets a call from Aditi asking about his whereabouts. He tells her he's on his way and cuts the call.

At the lodge reception area, Aditi is pacing nervously. As she sees vikrant coming, she launches into action,

"Vikrant Kahan the tum? Kab se call Kar rahi thi tumhe, phone kyu nahi utha rahe the?" She walks outside to meet him hallway as she speaks.

"Are meine tumse kaha Tha na Mei rishu ko Tanuj ke ghar pe chhodne gaya tha?"

"Haan par ek phone to kar sakte the! Kahan ho? Kya Kar rahe ho? Kuchh ata pata hi nahi Hai tumhara!" *The accusing wife*

"Haan ab.. to Mei Kya karu? Mujhe duty karte samay phone pe baat karne ki aadat nahi hai." *The helpless husband*

"Haan to ab adat daal lo."

"Matlab?"

"Kuchh nahi.." *awkward silence*

"Vaidhji ne kya kaha?"

"Wo bhi ab shayad yahan nahi hai. Unki ashram me bhi buri shaktiyon ka saya hai. Jab Mei unke ashram me gayi to ek buri atma ne mujhpe attack kiya. Vikrant humne jitna socha tha usse Kai jyada khatra hai yahan pe. Aisa lag raha Hai jaise achanak se sari buri shaktiyan vedpur me aa gayi ho."

Vikrant sits on the stairs and sighs,

"Vapas ane ke liye sari buri shaktiyan kahin gayi hi nahi thi Aditi. Chahe wo vedpur ho ya kahin aur. Jahan Jahan acchai hoti Hai wahan burai hoti hi Hai. Jitne bhi cases humne solve kiye Hai,shuru me Hume kafi dikkatein aayi, lekin humare andar ki acchai ne unhe sulzane me humesha humari madad ki."

Aditi looks worried at him and he asks about it.

"Is baar tum bohot jyada tension me lag rahi ho. Kyu?"

"Pata nahi is bar ajeeb si ghutan ho rahi Hai. Aisa lag raha Hai jaise kucch mujhse dur janewala Hai. 🥺 Vikrant, kahi in sabke picche vanraj to nahi Hai?"

"Vanraj hoga to vanraj marega. Jis tarah samay ki kai, samay ka silsila atoot Hai, kal-hin Hai, usi tarah burai aur acchai ki ladai ant-hin Hai. Uska koi nicchit ant nahi Hai. Per har yug me Jeet acchai ki hi hoti Hai. Agar raavan ko marna Hai to ram to banna hoga." [The way he said those last words. He knew what was coming.😭]

"Par vikrant agar tumhe kuchh ho gaya.. toh.." (remember these words?)

"To Kya? Shahid sipahiyonki tasviron me late vikrant singhal ki tasvir lag jaegi. Aur tum use samne khadi rehkar salute karogi." (Vikrant, joking now)

"Vikrant.. Mei mazak nahi Kar rahi hu.."

Before aditi could complete the statement, they hear a weird noise and vikrant gets up.

"Lagta Hai ab jaane ka waqt aa Gaya Hai." Words leave vikrant mouth and Aditi looks up instantaneously. [The look on her face 🥺]

"Matlab?"

"Matlab tum us tarf jao, Mei yahan dekhta hu."

"Vikrant apna dhyan rakhna."

"Tum bhi." And they part ways again. 🥺

At taruns house, he tries to distract rishu by telling him some old stories. His wife goes to the next room to get some clothes for rishu and things take a wrong turn. The lights flicker, a crying voice is heard and all 3 of them are killed. As vikrant is walking through the village, he hears someone crying and He follows the voice. Aditi sees a man sitting in the feild, she goes near and he turns around, he had a pale white face. Aditi stumbles and turns around to find another guy with a pale face. She's trapped in between but suddenly a hand pulls her. Aditi sees it was the vaidhji.

Aditi talks to the vaidhya, who tells her that people dying in vedpur are not getting any salvation, and their spirits are stuck. Aditi is confused and he reminds her that vedpur is the place where ravan had set his feet on Earth for the first time. He adds that this time it's not ravan, it's the devil who had stepped on their land. Aditi suspects it to be vanraj and vaidhji tells her that the devil has no name, he could come as anyone. Aditi asks him if there is any way to end vanraj. Vaidhji tells her that he has already told her the solution. Aditi gets a flashback of the different symbols she had seen over the time. Vaidhji adds that there are total of 5 symbols each having it's own meaning : power, energy, wits, Ultimate, and universe. [Forth and fifth didn't really fit in the list when he said it, saare naam kaise cute cute the aur achanak 'sarvashreshtha' aur 'bhrahmand ka pratik' tapak pade😆], he continues that no one knows where the fifth symbol lies. But it's said that whenever there will be a battle between the good and the evil, the fifth symbol will appear there. Aditi asks him who is the one capable enough to fight vanraj. Vaidhji tells her that the fight is very old, the first one to come was siddhant, then it was Shivani, followed by Aditi and then ananya.

He tells aditi that all 4 of them were from the same orphanage. "Rameshwar Shishu mandir" Aditi supplies and asks how he know about it. Vaidhji tells her that while searching for the fifth symbol, 'they' came across her story, after the orphanage was burned, siddhant and shiavni got adopted, but he had two more sisters, herself and ananya. He adds that they're not here to kill vanraj, but they're here to protect the one who's supposed to kill vanraj. Aditi remembers the first time she had met vikrant, Shivani had sent her to that orphanage to help someone. She also remembers the multiple times when she had saved vikrants life, in the end she remembers what vikrant had said just a few minutes back. Aditi draws a conclusion that he is one who is destined to kill vanraj. She is in tears now, and vaidhji adds that vanraj might be aware of this and vikrants life could be in danger, it's not this easy to kill vanraj, she needs to find the last symbol as quickly as possible. Once the fifth symbol was found, the portal to the other dimension would open and the spirits would be freed from this world., And only then it's possible to kill vanraj.

Aditi is crying now and asks how she can find the last symbol. That guy very dismissively tells her that whenever vikrant will come face to face with vanraj, the symbols will appear there. Aditi replies with,

"Par vaidhji kahin aisa na ho jae ki wo paanchva chinha dhundne se pehle.. Mai.. Mai vikrant ko kho nahi sakti hu." 🥺

that guy : "Aditi, vikrant tumhare liye nahi, balki wo buri shakti ko marne ke liye paida hua Hai."

[*Me sitting on the couch, gripping the remote tightly* : SHUT UP!! Shut up, shut up, shut up!!😡]

He adds that vanraj wants to destroy the entire world and Aditi should go and help vikrant end him. Aditi rushes to the place where she had last found the symbols. She searches around in the debris and finds the first 4 symbols glowing. Suddenly she hears vikrants scream and runs towards the source.

Vikrant on the other side, enters one of the houses searching for the source of the sound. He finds no one but he gets a call from rishu and he hears rishu crying on the other side. He cuts the call and rushes to tarun's house. At tanuj's house, vikrant hears rishu crying when he approches him, he sees that rishus face had become pale, he looks around and sees Tanuj and his wife had become pale too. Suddenly vikrant spots vanraj standing outside the window. Vikrant runs outside but vanraj had vanished. He hears a grunting noice and sees a group of insaani janwars going somewhere. Vikrant follows them to an abandoned Temple. At the venue, the insaani janwars attack vikrant and he tries to shoot them, but they keep on advancing. Suddenly the insaani janwars disappear and vikrant feels a presence behind him. He turns around and finds vanraj levitating in the air. Before he could attack vanraj, vanraj kicks him to the ground. Vanraj steps on vikrants chest and tries crushing him. Vikrant screams in pain, he grabs his gun and tries shooting at vanraj who disappears and reappears at another place. Vikrant keeps shooting at him. Vanraj uses his supernatural powers to throw vikrant around.

Aditi reaches the site and watches helplessly as vanraj throws vikrant around the place. She runs back to the symbols and tries searching for the last one. Aditi remembers what it stands for and looks up at the sky , suddenly a star formation takes place [this was so unrealistic] and tells portal to another dimension is opened. Aditi runs back to vikrant and sees that vanraj's powers had stopped working. The portal pulls vanaraj towards it and Vikrant tries pushing vanraj through. Vanraj grabs vikrant and tells him he won't be able to save the world, and if he's dying, vikrant will die too. Vanraj pulls vikrant into the portal and the portal closes behind them.

Aditi who was standing by, runs to the site screaming vikrants name. She slumps to the ground, looking in the direction of the portal, crying violently taking vikrants name. [The sad music in BG didn't help either.]🥺😭

I did not need this pain in my life okay? 🥺 I have enough already. It took me bloody 3 days to watch the episode again and write a WU!! Although I had suspected someone would get hurt, I didn't expect vikrant to be taken to the other dimension. But I wasn't ready for all the ViDiti overdose that we got in the last episode, just to take vikrant away in the end. He's still alive though. I don't think he's dead, and Aditi will get him back.
