Is Naamkarann MB's life story?

When Naamkarann started, then its story had a lot of resemblance with Mahesh Bhatt's life like Avni's parents were not married and her parents belonged to different religions similar to Mahesh Bhatt's parents. Then the characters of Dayawanti and Neela maa were similar to MB's grandmother and stepmother respectively. Apart from these things, I doubt if there are any similarities between Mahesh Bhatt and Avni's life.I don't think MB's grandmother killed his parents and tried to kill him or his stepmother brought him up as a single mother.MB's took his father's name while Avni took her mother's name.MB is a director while Avni is not. I doubt if MB indulged in Robin Hood activities like Avni. MB married twice and had multiple girlfriends Avni never had any boyfriend and stayed dedicated to only one man throughout her life. Avni had mostly led a miserable life and through her the cvs have tried to present that a child born out of wedlock can never be happy.

But MB is leading a colorful life and I have never heard anybody discriminating against him because his parents were not married.

With so many dissimilarities, how can Naamkarann especially post first leap Naamkarann be MB's life story?

Did he claim anywhere dt its his life story???

As far as I know he only says Neela's character is inspired from his stepmom. And also dt its inspired by his movie Zakham from a girl's pov.

Zakham was based on his own life which the show is losely based on . Yes the fact he was not legitimate child of father is true and obviously as MB claims his step mother loved as Neela loved Avni that again from his life...

Other I think in the movie (haven't seen the movie so can't say) and surely also in show are dramatised in the name name of entertainment and TRPs

Apparently the movie Zakhm is based on his life story but if you see the movie's plot, it is quite different from naamkarann

I think only preleap is what he claimed to be his story and what happened after that he was least bothered his only interest was Neela Ma he was never invested in AvNeil which by the way was the main reason we all are still here and watch the show someone should shake him up and make him come back to reality Adiza was the one due to which the youth got attached to the show and NK was able to make a place for itself I haven't watched a single episode of pre AvNeil and has no intention of watching it.

Ya but dt doesn't mean NK is.

NK kind of started where Zakham ended and den d writers were free to take d story in whatever way dey liked.It was no more MB' s life story and dts y he never claims it to be.

Also ders a hell and heaven difference between a movie and ITV show.Films portray biographies much better since d story is told in 2 hrs but in case of Tv shows d story is dragged and stretched and spiced up to attract viewers and to keep d story running ...so dey can never actually portray anyone's life.

No offence to any1.I too watch a lot of shows but v should see for what it is...just entertainment.

Yes exactly

Zakham is his story ...I hv watched it and it's a great movie.

NK is just inspired by its main theme...that is parents of different religion and an illegitimate child.

Den our writers took d story forward d way dey liked... creative liberty.

Zakhm was in fact inspired by mahesh's life story in fact. Then he decided to do it from a girl's perspective for tv.
