The father-daughter bond shown between Irfan and Zara ia beautiful and very unlike Kabir's bond with his father. All the moments they showed when Zara's father was walking her towards the Nikkah spot tugged at my heart strings. Daughters are known to be closer to their fathers and Irfan had always been there for Zara. Even what he said to Zara in her room before the Nikkah won me over. I am not a fan of forced marriage tracks and I am so happy to see that Irfan left the final choice in Zara's hands even though it was a no win scenario for her. Still glad to see the love between both of them. May all fathers be like Irfan who care more about their daughter's happiness than society's norms.

A father becoming the daughters support system is the best part of today's episode. And daughters are gonna connect with that scene , its like the final walk holding your father's hand , it starts from childhood and ends here.i am glad that such a beautiful moment was shown with flashbacks right from her childhood to her adulthood.
The way Irfan left the last choice for her just adds to beauty of the father daughter relationship , i am glad they didn't rush with the marriage.

Yup even the scene where she leaves Irfan's hand and goes on to sit on the cushion. The camera panned on both of their hands. So symbolic like a father is finally letting his daughter go and giving her in somebody else's hands.

It was beautiful and touching ... but why could nt he right away say no to the marriage. He might feel Kabir is the right guy.But Zara is not thinking that way.If he feels he is the right guy he could have given some time for her daughter It is kind of emotional pressure on the daughter to decide.
Even though i want ZaBit marriage , i felt like that why she is pushed for the thing she is not wanting.

I binge watched the show , and its so amazing !
Yesterday this was my favorite part of the episode , i am glad they depicted it beautifully !
Gnerally in a conservative family we dont see fathers being supportive , here Irfan impressed me also the way he told zara that " kaziyat jati hai to jaye " loved their father-daughter bond !

It is common here. when parents get a good rishta they ask their daughter. many girls say : no. some are shy, some don't want to leave parents' house, some want to complet studies, some want to enjoy life before carrying marriage responsibilities, some have another love intrests. 😆 so : no. is a norm here. When parents know what is better for their daughters , they accept the rishta and try to make them understand and accept. it is not forcing , coz the last say will be the girl's. 😃

This happens so often in India where arranged marriages are highly prevalent to this day that its no longer considered forcing but in raw terms yes, its forcing and emotional pressure as most of the parennts know that their girl child won't go against them especially on the wedding day with so many things at stake. If Zara's dad really wanted to support her then he had too many chances buthe kept quite even tho Zara openly protested. They believe Kabir is a good person in their few meetings with him but what if he wouldn't be a good husband, you see both are different and Zara desires for a good husband.

@Amulya . see ..we believe in Allah. marriages are made at heaven. if everything goes smoothly so it is Allah's will. If something goes wrong and marriage stops so it ia Allah's will too.
Elders know more about their children's maslihat . Zara's parents felt Kabeer is good match for her (even Reema thinks so!) . there are lots of love marriages which go wrong ..There's no guarantee about which marriage will last longer. so we leave it to Allah. as you saw here Peer saab blessed ZaBir , so they take it as a sign that this marriage is the best thing for the couple!
