Among this trio I feel the worst for Jakkala
She is a princess who was married off to a king. She had her desires, aspirations. Desires of having her husband's love n aspirations of becoming the Queen. But unfortunately Tailap is a puppet of Mrinal. In reality Jakkala isn't the Queen, it's mrinal who is ruling the kingdom.. this made her rude to Tailap n drifted Tailap away from her.

Coming to Kosha. I find her selfish. First of all if she truly loves Tailap why does she want to become his Queen. Why she wants rights of his wife? After all he is someone else's husband, he even has son. She even guilt drips him.

Tailap has to be blamed the most. in that era kings had many women in life so its not a crime on his part to visit Kosha.. He is simply like any other king. but problem with Tailap is he is unable to keep any woman happy, neither his wife nor Kosha. If he was able to handle the emotions of every woman this situation wouldn't have arrived. It's not necessary for him to love Jakkala to keep her happy. He just needs to give her the rights of a Queen.
He is neither a good husband nor a good brother nor a good lover.

I think later they'll try to show a comparison between this trio n Prithvi-Mrinal-Amrusha trio.

Aditi

As of now I feel Tailap is a good brother. Infact Mrinal is the focul point of his life...but later on once Mrinal will fall for PV then Tailap might go against PV who will be his sister's love

And yes Tailap's tagline itself says - an incomplete king ,ruler, husband, lover and brother

And yes most of the characters are flawed and grey and thst itself is the beauty of the show

Oh now i got it 😉
Yes Tailap doesn't love his wife hence an incomplete husband, loves Kosha but can't give her rights of a queen hence an incomplete lover, he is the king but Mrinal is the one who gives orders hence incomplete king, and so far he has been a very good brother but things will change once Mrinal will fall for PV
I personally don't want him to ever hate Mrinal...He can hate PV as much as he wants but not his sister coz this is one bond that is one of my favs on the show
😊

I don't know about Tailap and Jakkala's past but from the scenes we got she didn't try much to get her husband's love. She was more interested in putting Mrinal down and getting the power of the queen which she doesn't have because Mrinal is respected by everyone. Now that I have experience of hystorical shows 😆 One thing is sure. The queens who think more about the power are less loved by the kings and the queens who cares a damn about being a queen are more loved by the kings. No exception here too. Tailap went to a woman to share his sorrows and tension. This is how he probably fell in love with her. The way both talk about dying for each other, no doubt he loves her more than his wife.

I am against EMA but I have accepted the idea of back then kings used to have more than one woman in their lives. Thanks to historical shows again. 🤢 It's disgusting but it was real.

I think to a large extent Tailap is causing the problems because it seems like he refuses to spend any time with his wife. To neglect his wife like this is not right in my opinion. Independent of what other relationships he has with other people, I think he should also give importance to the relationship with his wife.

Tailap was seriously bad yesterday. 🤢
He taunted Jakkala for her madira paan and couldn't acknowledge the reason behind it. Kosha seems irritating to me. Whatever, Tailap is married to Jakkala. He shouldn't behave like this. Jakkala seems to love Tailap, but he is not acknowledging her. A king is allowed to multiple marriages but this extra marital affair, that too when his wife is unhappy, is not right. That's why I wanted Mrinalvati to guide him as an elder sister. 🤔

Aditi this is what I feel exactly
You said it all

Also Taliap itself doesn't have that fire of revenge
and feels kind of obliged to do it for his Akka
So we can't expect Jakkala to understand the revenge or even Mrinal
She just wants her husband's love or atleast his understanding
and she got neither
yes she was wrong when she burnt the Kota
but even Mrinal didn't have any problem with her harming Kosha
just that she was worried for others who got effected by it

Though I agree that multiple marriages used to be a norm for Kings in the mediaval times and it was an accepted thing hence multiple marriages can not be judged from the morality principle of 21st century
However extra marital affair was never an accepted thing. that is why those who used to indulge in it used to do it secretly

Coming to these three characters

I think Tailap is the biggest culprit of all. He cant stand up to his sister , he cant give any respect to his wife and well he is having an affair on top of all that

Jakkala does not have her husband's love thats why she is bitter. On top of it she does not understand the revende. But then her husband has no drive for revenge then why should she understand it? She is gray but somehow I can feel her

Kosha I feel is an oppurtunist but again it easy to blame the other woman but she cant do anything if the man doesnt let her. Can she?

So in all this buck stops with Tailabh

An incompetent man lover husband and brother indeed

If I have to pick one then I will pick Tailap who is to be blamed for this mess
He needs to take a stand...he can't keep doing what he does...he doesn't love his wife as their marriage was a political alliance..love is not something that can be done forcefully...but Tailap doesn't acknowledge Jhakkala's care and love for him which he should after all it is his duty as a husband..hence is an incomplete husband

On the other hand he loves Kosha but can't give her the place of a queen...he can't accept her in front of the society..again he is an incomplete lover

Tailap is someone who is unable to raise a voice of his own..he can't take a stand in front of his siser and neither is able to sort this triangle mess out

He is definitely flawed , an incomplete lover and husband but somewhere I do understand that the situation is not as easy as it seems for a 9th century king..I am not even sure if marrying a prostitute was allowed in those days..divorce was a concept that did not exist...I do understand his situation but then can't help but point out his flaws

Here I feel for all 3 somehow

But I do think that he does love his akka..he wants revenge for his akka..Mrinal is his focal point of his life..she has raised him like a mother and he does respect her and love her..at this point he is a good brother but that will also change and he will become an incomplete brother

He is definitely flawed and precisely why I find him very intriguing

Jhakkala is grey and flawed again...I understand her feelings and why she hates Kosha..after all a no wife will accept that her husband loves another woman

Her reasons are understandable but her actions again not completely right..her burning the brothel or even wanting to murder Kosha is not right..she could have banish her though. Thst would have been the right thing to do

Also yesterday she indicated Tailap that brothel was burnt by Mrinal which again was not right

Kosha again flawed..she is in love with a married man which is wrong...she is naive as she doesn't understnd the harsh realities of life

This whole triangle is messy and precisely why I am intrigued

I wanted Mrinal to at least try to guide Tailap, try to understand him and his point...she expects him to have the same fire of revenge within him without realising what Tailap himself wants and what are his aspirations..Mrjnal's emotions and relations get overided by her need of revenge

All are flawed, grey and human and thst makes me love the show even more !
