What is going on?
I get attacks of laughter everyday specially watching Shiv Sharanya scenes. What nautanki!
Shiv, please do remember you have died. You are a ghost.
Please make your directors remember that there's a difference between a dead man and his spirit.
Spirits don't laugh and cry and shy away and all those. Okay fine ShivAnya fans may enjoy these but for me a namik fan, I see his character getting butchered every moment. Like what the hell?
If your boyfriend dies and yet goes around with you, does things as if you are still love birds and all, it looks such a big joke!!!!!
Sharanya suddenly breaks bangles but most of the times she shows no pain of losing her love. This is idiotic!

There's not much time left when I'll start supporting Vyom.
Only because his character has stronger elements.
His battle is much more difficult.
Fighting with inner psyche, as well as an overprotective father who may even kill his love.

Rajan is not overprotective...it will be revealed in future episodes...
Vyoom n Rajan are mutually supporting each other..
The realisation will hit saranya at some point that she could not be with him forever...

I think it looks sweet (my personal opinion)
There is a right time for every character to step up and react...it's not a 2hr movie to show everything at one go...

Ps:-ghosts are fictional...so whatever they do n ol there is no written manual...😃

I get your opinion.

But I find Sharanya's reactions ott, and Shiv's unnecessary at times. 😆
Most of the times.

Well I will respectfully disagree with this.At the end of the day it's a fictional show and fiction has endless possibilities.
Some spirits are portrayed as serious ones who don't laugh or shy away while others are portrayed differently. The portrayal of each spirit varies according to the story.
Take Casper as an example.Or the movie Ghost,Sam's spirit was cracking jokes, bickering with his medium and enjoying troubling his enemy even if he was a spirit.Sam even entered his medium's body and romanced his GF.
An example closer to home is that of Bhootnath where a ghost was laughing, having fun and even dancing😆
Basically everything depends on the story and how they portray the ghost. Some project them as scary and serious while others project them in a different light.
Therefore there is nothing odd in what Shiv is doing now coz it has been shown in several movies and shows before.

Also how is his character getting butchered if he romances Sharanya? He was her lover and it's their story.Again this is fiction where we have witnessed demons, wizards, naagins and vampires romancing humans. So what's the big deal with a ghost?😆

About Sharanya's characterization well it has been fickle since Day 1 but then the entire writing has been messed up since the beginning. Now atleast the story is moving somewhere with ShivAnya and the villainous Vyom.

My views on Vyom differ too.I don't feel that he is battling his psyche or his overprotective father. He is just a spoilt brat whose every whim was catered to by his father and as a result of that he turned out to be a murderer.I will give some credit to the criminal tendencies of the Bedis for that.Rajan is an abusive jerk and Vidyut was a creepy rapist.Vyom has both their traits along with his own murderous streak. So I don't see any originality in his character either.Everything which he is doing right now has been done already by some villain/vamp in Ekta/Gul shows.

I m agree with u . I used to adore namik in his previous serial but shiv is big time disappointing. Actually spiritual serials r not my cup of tea but give it a try bcz of namik. Shiv sharanya scenes r looking really stupid and funny, can't understand why they r showing shiv as a weak spirit. Other hand they also butchered vyom's character but I'm liking contam'a acting, and thankfully vyin'a character isn't weak like shiv sharanya.

Hey 😊
I personally am okay if Shiv laughs, or blushes or romances Sharanya coz ghosts are fictional and there aren't any rules as such regarding how spirits or ghosts should behave
Shiv was a human who was in love with Sharanya and now he is dead and still is in love with Sharanya

Also he is not an evil entity but a memory as per the makers...I like watching Shiv and Sharanya scenes

But yes I do want writers to show Shiv use the fact that he is a ghost to investigate about his murder and find out about his murderers...He can easily eavesdrop on Rajan and Vyom...I know writers are using cinematic liberty as they need to run the story for a while before revealing the true face of Vyom in front of Shiv and Sharanya but they need to give proper reason for why Shiv can't eavesdrop on Rajan and Vyom to find out the truth...Shiv said that he can't be around the house for a particular duration so writers should make it a point to show that Rajan and Vyom coincidentally conspire when Shiv can't enter the house during the particular duration

Apart from this I am fine with Shiv's portrayal and Shiv-Sharanya scenes...It is refreshing to see an adorable ghost for a change who is more about protecting his love rather than wanting to seek revenge..He is an adorable, selfless ghost or as Shiv says khoi hui yaad 😊

Also Vyom is entertaining...But i don't think he is battling an over protective father...I feel he was a brat who was pampered by his father...Rajan has fulfilled every wish of his and thus when Vyom fell madly in love with Sharanya Rajan helped Vyom out...But now Rajan is realizing that Vyom's love has turned into obsession..Rajan has been blinded by his love for his son so much so that he didn't even realize how and when did his son turned into an obsessive man who can commit murders.

So, overall I am satisfied with how the show is moving , how the characters are being portrayed...I hope story will not drag and maintain it's pace

P.S. - I have never seen Namik, Vikram or Donal's any previous work...I didn't even follow EDT on a regular basis...i have recently started watching the show and I am liking Namik as Shiv the most...I am liking Shiv's character. Vikram is entertaining as Vyom and I think Donal is very pretty and Shiv-Sharanya are a lovely couple
😊

Firstly, I don't really know what spirits are supposed to do & what not 😆 So can't comment on that!!

On the part, Shiv's character is getting butchered, I do agree to some extent!! Most of the focus is on Vyom & of course Sharanya. I don't really think makers have any story for Shiv. We know the most about Vyom & Sharanya but we still (after 74 episodes) don't really know much about Shiv. They are just giving random flashback scenes for ShivAnya & throwing away random information about Shiv. Hence the impact is less!!

About supporting Vyom thing, I CAN'T support a bloody monster in any circumstances. I would rather say his character is imapactful as compared to others but supporting a criminal? NO WAY!!!

Support Vyom in the sense not his criminal activities, but maybe because Shiv is failing to impress as a character.
I utterly detest negative characters, but the positive characters here are so inactive or uselessly active.
