Chapter 26
Sumo lost all her interest in this pag phere ritual from the moment nirmala dropped news of shravan's departure but it was difficult for her to sulk and express in front of excited Tiwari clan so she kept mingling with her family and mask her sadness but whom she can fool it was pretty much clear from her each action that something was bothering her so finally nanu decided to have some heart to heart talk with his natin and try to figure out what's the matter with her exactly.
After dinner all retired to their rooms but nanu called sumo in his room saying he want some nana-natin time, sumo changed into her pajama's after taking a hot shower which helped to soothe her tired body cells from the stress of the whole eventful day.
sumo entered in his room with glass of milk in her hand, she spotted nanu on his rocking chair relaxing with eyes closed, she smiled and called him out softly "nanu??"
"hmm..." he just hummed in response indicating he was not yet asleep
As a cue sumo sauntered toward him while pondering on millions of possibilities of this rendezvous nanu declared, she placed glass on the table next to nanu and slides her frame on floor near his feet, she placed her hand on his hand which was placed on his lap "nanu kya baat hai?" she gazed him worriedly
he opened his eyes with a beatific smile playing on his lips "suman beta koi baat nahi hai mein bas tujhse baat karna chahta tha" he stared her intently to read her unsaid expressions "aaj kitne dino ke baad es budhe nanu ko apani suman ke sath waqt mila hai" he caressed her hairs lovingly
Sumo glared him as soon as he uttered "Buddha" word but kept quiet until he finished "nanu aap buddhe nahi ho samaze, har baar aapko bolati hu mein same chiz par aap ho ke.." she huffed while folding hands to her chest but in next moment her eyes twinkled with mischief "aur waise aaj bhi agar aap bahar nikale to hazaro ladkiya aapke piche bhagengi nanu" sumo jested and winked
he shook his head on her not so funny joke "suman ab es umar me tu mere piche ladkiya bhagayegi?" he gave a fake glare but how can he leave this opportunity in his hand to tease her "lagata hai tere hotshot lawyer pati ke piche bahot ladkiya ghumati hai, aur tu unase picha chudwana chahti hai hmm?" nanu cocked his brow, sumo snapped her eyes toward him she was totally confused on what he was exactly implying, and nanu as a great lawyer quickly took up her confusion and continued "are wahi to reason ho sakata hai jo tu apane 75 sal ke nanu ke piche ladkiya bhaga rahi hai, taki tera pati bach jaye aur tu use apane liye rakh paye kyu sahi kaha na?" her face was totally flushed on his comment
"nanu aap bhi na kuch bhi bolate hai" she whined while ignoring his gaze
nanu laughed on her state making her too laugh sheepishly on her own predicament "Finally!!!" nanu said and stared her lovingly "ab jake meri bachi ke chehre pe khushi dikh rahi hai"
sumo stopped laughing at his comment " i missed you so much nanu" sumo kept her head on his lap and nanu kept caressing her hairs "You've been awfully quiet and lost tonight suman after you called Nirmala a penny for your thoughts?"
"kuchh nahi nanu bas aise hi thak gayi thi" sumo hate to lie with him but now she can't help it she have to hide her apprehension from him when she herself was unsure about the situation and her own feelings "aur kal se office bhi to jana hai bas wahi soch rahi thi" she tried to conceal confidently
But being her grandfather who knows her in and out was not ready to buy this excuse at all "as you say beta, lekin mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ki koi aur baat hai?" nanu put forward his disquiet after observing his natin's behavior for all the evening
"nahi nanu aisi koi baat nahi, woh to bas aise hi..." she trailed off running out of words to put forward new reason
"beta shravan London gaya hai isliye pareshan hai na?" nanu really hit the nail on the head which made her nearly jumped out of her skin
she straighten herself and started looking everywhere except nanu "nahi nanu...m-m-meine kana...aisi k-koi baat nahi hai...woh...woh to mein bas thak gayi thi aur ab itne dino ke baad office regularly join karna hai to kam ka bhi tension hoga na" sumo faltered in start but covered up confidently at the end
nanu was not at all convinced with her excuse but decided not to probe more "achha thik hai jaise tu kahe...ek baat bata tu khush to hai na waha?"
nanu stared her worriedly while waiting for her response, she squirmed under his scrutinizing gaze but decided to reply confidently without giving reason to cast doubt on their relation "mein bahut khush hu nanu, aapko pata hai maa mera kitna dhyan rakhti hai...har chiz me mera sath deti hai...aur jab bhi mere aur shravan me uchnich ho jati hai wo meri hi side leti hai and same goes with papa" nanu admired her bonding with her new family sumo kept jabbering about everyone in the house, she freely talked about how dadi took promise from her to have daily evening chitchat once she will be back from office, how ramnath asked her to join him for morning coffee every day, how nirmala covered her on her every silly mistake, how lalaji and kamini treated her same as vandy and gave same love, how vandy dragged her for shopping and kitty parties without any begrudging, how varun treated her as his little sis. How soumya treated her as a friend since their frequency really matched in every manner and specially about their rational thinking, how pushkar cheered her up all the time either by teasing or joking and last but not the lease how 2 cute monsters showered all their love on her even though they are familiar with her for very small time span, she blabbered all this with a content smile constantly playing on her face. She was all tired and not at all interested in any conversation when she came to his room but as soon as she started speaking about Malhotra clan her face beamed with unknown satisfaction as if she was talking about the peoples who are dearly beloved to her but he noticed only one person missed in her conversation and that was none other than her husband Shravan ...
she didn't spoke a single word about shravan and their relation which kept nanu on tenterhooks, he was lost in deep thoughts about it and he understood there something is amiss "suman tune shravan ke bare me nahi bataya wo to thik hai na beta?"
Tt was unexpected for her, she turned her eyes in other side in order to escape from his gaze "haan nanu wo bhi thik hai use kya hua?" she quickly got up from her place and handed him glass of milk "dekhiye mein bhi faltu ki bak bak kar rahi thi apne ab tak apani medicines bhi nahi li" she moved toward his bed and grabbed his medicines evading further question
He narrowed his eyes skeptically but left the topic for the moment "haan beta mein apani dawai le lunga jaa tu bhi so ja bahut der ho gayi hai" being a great astute lawyer for the years it was cinch for him to see through her and figure out whats wrong but decided opposite 'cause as per his experience they need time with each other to blossom their relation so it was unfair to judge them so early.
"ji nanu, lekin pehle aap chaliye bed pe" sumo helped him and tucked to his bed after he done with his medicines
"Goodnight nanu"
"Goodnight beta" nanu wished her back and closed his eyes, sumo switched off all light except one dim side lamp and carefully closed door before moving toward her room.

After reaching to her room first thing she did was to fetch her phone from nightstand and check if there was any massage or missed call from shravan but to her dismay there was nothing "ek call bhi nahi kar sakta hai, ab tak to pohach gaya hoga, at least ek massage to kiya hota ki pohach gaya hai, koi farak nahi padta hai koi yahan worried hai uske liye" she chided him on his impassive behavior and sighed
She tucked herself into the bed but kept phone near to her head in hope that he may call her in night time and today even she kept her phone on ringing mode against to her usual habit to keep it on vibrating so that there shouldn't be any miss if he calls her
"ek kaam karu kya maa ko call karke puchati hu ki wo pohanch gaya ki nahi?" she quickly took her phone to dial nirmala's number but dropped idea since it was almost midnight and it's definitely a divulging act of her desperation.
she huffed and throw herself on bed helplessly while cursing him for his behavior, after uncountable turns and twists somewhere in the night sleep engulfed her

Next Day Morning in Tiwari Killa
Ramnath came to pick up sumo since shravan was out of the country for a week, nanu welcomed him and called sumo
"Papa aapne bataya nahi ki aap aaoge mujhe lene ke liye?" sumo asked him while touching his feet for blessing
"are beta tumhari maa ka man nahi lag raha tha tumhare bina ghar me to muze sabere sabere bhej diya tumhe lene" ramnath jested making all smile adoringly
"bhai ye achhi baat hai sirf ek week hua hai shadi ko aur nirmalaji ka man nahi lag raha hai apni bahu ke bina?" babulal quipped
"are jab beti ghar se bahar jati hai to kis maa ka man ghar me lagta hai aap hi bataieye tiwariji?" one simple question from ramnath was enough to create a emotional whirl within nanu and sumo
her eye became glossy but she quickly covered up her emotions "papa aap baithiye mein apana bag leke aati hu" her voice choked at end but it was so quick to be noticed by anyone except one, without waiting for reply she dashed to her room
"sahi baat hai ramnath ji humari suman hai hi aisi sabka dil jit leti hai" sameer seconded ramnath, preeti and manju brought some sweets and snacks for ramnath and rachana followed to sumo to help her in completing some last moment rituals.
Ramnath chit chatted with tiwari's for 20 mins until sumo came to living room with her bag all ready to go
"Ready beta?" ramnath asked her when he spotted her heading toward them
"ji papa" sumo nodded with small smile, she turned and hugged nanu "nanu aap apna khayal rakhna aur sari medicines time pe lena please" she instructed him as mother
"haan meri maa jaise tu bolegi wahi karunga aur waise bhi tune ese" he pointed finger toward preeti who was standing in one corner silently weeping "pura train kar diya hai, yeh to tere se bhi do kadam aage hai" nanu jested to lighten his granddaughters mood
"nanu aap bhi na" preeti whined and hugged sumo and that was enough to swam her eyes with tears "i missed you di" preeti murmured near her ear
"shh don't cry" sumo caressed her back in soothing circles to calm her "aur mein kaha dur hu 20 min ka distance hai jab bhi man kare aa jana" sumo glanced ramnath hesitantly as if asking for permission
Ramanath caressed preeti's hairs with fatherly love "beta woh bhi to tumhare hi ghar hai jab chaho aa jana koi wajah ki jaroorat thodi na hai tumhe" preeti nodded and broke hug while wiping tears with back of her hands
"pagal ladki, aise rote thodi hai" sumo shook her head and tapped preeti's forehead lovingly "aur waise bhi meri preity preeti ke chehre pe smile achhi lagti hai ye mote mote aasu nahi, ab jaldi ek pyari si smile de apane di ko" sumo smiled making preeti smile broadly
Sumo fetched 2 chocolates from her purse "aur ye mere pyare dabbu ke liye" dabbu quickly took then and thanked her by kissing on her cheek
"achha chaliye ab chalate hai" ramnath joined his hands and took their leave
"chalti hu nanu lekin jaldi aaungi" sumo smiled and followed ramnath toward car
Driver took her bag and settled it in boot, ramanath settled in passenger seat and sumo made herself comfortable on backseat, once all set in driver pulled out their car from parking and they hit busy delhi roads
Sumo was impatiently waiting for ramnath to end call the since he was busy from the moment they started their journey so that she can inquire about shravan, ramnath observed her form rear mirror and by taking as a cue he ended call as quickly as possible and turned his head slightly toward her "beta kya baat hai pareshan lag rahi ho?" ramnath inquired with concern
"nahi papa aisi koi baat nahi hai woh to bas aise hi" she tried to cover up her desperation but failed miserably "tu bhi na sumo etani despo ban rahi hai papa kya sochenge idiot" she murmured and slapped her forehead
"kuch kaha beta?" ramnath narrowed his eyed through mirror with quizzical smile playing on his lips, he was very well aware of her dilemma since the was continuous spectators of her changing expressions
"nahi papa meine...meine kaha kuchh bola...kuchh bhi to nahi" she stammered and nodded her head in no vigorously
ramnath bit his lip to stop his smile "waise shravan ka phone aaya tha..." he trailed off only to witness her face which was instantly lit up as a 1000 Watt bulb on only mere mention of shravan's name
"kya kaha shravan ne papa? woh pohach to gaya na? usne kuch bataya kab aane wala hai? usne mujhe call kyu nahi kiya? woh thik to hai na?" sumo bombarded him with no of questions anxiously
"are bas bas ek sath kitne sawal? first come first" ramanath smiled on this impatient soul who was badly missing her husband but was not dared to ask him directly, sumo on other hand embarrassed to the hell a flush crept up her face and she started looking here and there to avoid his gaze and at that moment she was only waiting for car seat to open up and swallow her completely...
"shravan ne kaha wo safely pohanch gaya, ek week minimum lagega use case thoda complicated hai to jyada time bhi lag sakta hai, aur usne kaha tumhe call try kiya lekin not reachable tha to usane nirmala ko call karake inform kar diya" sumo's face felled on listening he called her but her phone was not reachable
"ji papa" she just nodded but her mind was not at all able to think straight "agar call nahi laga to ek message to kar sakta tha na?" she mused in disappointedly
Soon they reached home and nirmala welcomed sumo with warm hug "aa gayi beta tujhe pata hai teri kitni yaad aa rahi thi"
sumo smiled broadly and broke hug "meine bhi aapko bahut miss kiya"
"achha chalo ab jaldi se tum fresh hoke aa jao aur fir tumhe office bhi to jana haina?" nirmala asked her while ushering her inside home
"haan maa aaj se office join karna hai, bahut din ho gaye hai" sumo replied "aur waise bhi ghar me akele rahungi to use yaad karungi" she mused last line while glancing toward her room
"kuchh kaha beta?" nirmala asked her and she quietly nodded as no "are haan shravan ka aaj subah me call aaya tha woh thik se pohach gaya london bol raha tha busy rahega call nahi kar payenge lekin jab bhi time milega call karega bola hai" nirmala filled up her with the same information she got from shravan once again which was already burning her in anger
sumo frowned on this information "sabko call kar sakta hai lekin mujhe ek message tak nahi kiya, jane ke pahale call to kiya nahi, lekin pohachane ke baad nahi kar sakta tha, behaving as if he don't have my number at all, one small message saying "I reached safely" bhej deta ko konasa usaka balance khatam ho jata ya lakho ka bill uth jata huh?" she murmured fiercely
"suman..." Nirmala called her out loudly
"huh?" sumo stared her like a lost puppy
"kaha kho gayi ho beta...?"nirmala narrowed asked her when she found her zoned out "tumhara phone band tha kya aaj?"
"nahi maa, phome to on hi tha" sumo replied while checking her phone
"pata nahi phir tumhe phone kyu nahi laga jab shravan ne try kiya?" nirmala shrugged and left for the kitchen
sumo dragged herself to her room, she slowly opened door of room and get in while closing door behind, she darted her eyes throughout the room and wandered toward bed with heavy steps, she sat at the edge of the bed and eyes fell on the pair of his clothes dangling on couch, his towel was thrown on chair carelessly as if he packed his luggage in hurry.
she sighed and got up from the bed "agar jana hi tha to bolta na, mein aake packing kar deti, sab kaise phek ke rakha hai lag raha hai yaha tsunami aaya tha" she muttered and rolled her eyes while folding his towel and kept it in his cupboard "kapade dekho kaise rakhe hai, koi khayal nahi rahta, don't know kya etana urgent kaam tha ki ek bar inform bhi nahi kya?" she kept his clothes inside his cupboard and she kept muttering disappointedly just like a real wife
But reality hit her "lekin mein kyu use etana miss kar rahi hu? why i want you to come back as soon as possible? kyu ye diware muze khaye jaa rahi hai?" she kept asking hundreds of unanswered questions to herself

"Please jaldi aa jao shravan, i miss you badly, kaun mujhe pareshan karega tum nahi honge to?" she laid down on bed flat on her back and closed her eyes reminiscing all their bunter and obviously intense moment they shared in this room
"at least ek call to karo mujhe, more than 24 hrs are over i didn't heard anything from you please call me at least once" she murmured to herself helplessly
she was in her trance when she heard nirmala calling her from down stairs "ji maa aayi"
she yelled from inside and started grabbing her office bag and necessary stuff "jaldi kar sumo office ke liye late ho jayega, shravan to chala gaya aaram se aur tu yaha uske gam me muh latka ke baithi hai" she chided herself
"waha to wo gori memo ke sath maze kar raha hoga use kya farak padta hai ki tu yaha uske liye worried hai kal se" she again nodded her head in disappointment "bas sumo bahut ho gaya sahi to baat hai use kyu farak padega aur tujhe bhi nahi padna chahiye, Oh God now you are manifestly behaving as his real wife you hopeless women stop right there" she scolded herself "woh kuchh bhi kare it should not bother you understood?" she again warned herself but happen in next moment broke her all retorts
"suman kaha hai shravan ka call hai jaldi aa" she heard nirmala's yell and in the next moment she was running like a maniac without bothering to take her stuff with her at all
O baadal ne angdaayi li jo kabhi
Lehraaya dharti ka aanchal
she was panting heavily as if she came by running whole marathon when she reached near nirmala, she perceived her presence "beta suman aa gayi le baat kar usase" nirmala was about to handover her phone but stopped when she heard shravan "are beta ek bar baat to kar le" sumo was staring her intently to fathom what he was saying
"haan le bechari wait kar rahi hai" sumo's eyes twinkled immediately and she took receiver quickly
she took a deep breath to normalize her heart which was frantically beating under her rib cage "Hello??" she somehow said that word and eagerly waited for his response but in the next moment line went dead from other side "hello shravan" she repeated again but it was already late and her face felled as quick as it was lit up
nirmala stared her and understood her melancholy "kya hua beta phone cut ho gaya?" nirmala asked while keeping hand on her shoulder, her throat choked up with the feelings of being rejected so she just nodded sadly "are beta koi baat nahi hai wo waise bhi neend me tha waha early morning hai na, bola hai uthake call karega bahot busy hai woh" nirmala patted her back with apologetic look
"hmm maa koi baat nahi waise bhi mujhe office ke liye late ho raha hai mein bag lekar aati hu" sumo ignored nirmala's gaze and quickly went to her room. After chucking all thoughts she left for her office but deep down she was highly disappointed with his act.

One week was over but shravan didn't contacted her or nirmala under the pretext of work though it was real reason but for her is was not real at all, he just called ramnath for couple of times to take some advice regarding case and ramnath update nirmala and sumo regarding his well-being.
It was 7th day, Sumo was feeling very lonely and preeti was also missing her so nirmala invited preeti to malhotra house for overnight sojourn and she accepted gladly when nirmala informed her how gloomy was her sister after shravan's departure.
Nirmala sent pushkar to receive preeti from TK, pushkar massaged her when he reached TK to get ready with her required belongings till the time he meet other family members.
When preeti was ready they quickly left TK so that in between they can stop somewhere and get some private time before reaching Malhotra mansion
"Waise aap bade smart ho hmm?" preeti accused him when pushkar started car
He just raised one eyebrow in response as if asking for more brief about her accusation "care to explain?"
"are matlab jaise hi muze pick up karane ki baat nikli, you very well tricked aunty to give you consent for my pickup and that too so smartly ki kisiko ko shak bhi nahi hua" preeti smirked and folded hands to her chest
Her response caught him totally of guard, he never expected this coming though it was clear that tiwari sisters are too smart but to this extend he never expected, he thought he covered up very well but preeti was way smart than his expectation, he rubbed nape of his neck and focused his attention toward road whilst remembering how exactly he managed to come and pick up her
Flashback...
When nirmala and kamini was discussing about who can go and pickup from tiwari killa pushkar while passing by eavesdropped their conversation, kamini suggested varun can go and pickup while returning from his work but before kamini can contact varun, pushkar pretended as he was on call with varun and came toward them as if he was conversing with him from long time and when kamini noticed that he was already on call with varun she asked pushkar to ask varun that if he can pick up preeti and then what was left he artfully altered whole conversation in his favor and convinced nirmala that if he will go then it will be good since ramnath was busy in some case and lalaji was also with varun busy in some meetings and if they wait for them then it will be late and it won't look good to go and pick up a girl in night to which both nirmala and kamini agreed oblivious to his trick
Flashback end...
He shook his head in embarrassment "hmm, aap to badi smart hai waise jab badi maa nahi pakad payi to es einstein ko kaise pata chala huh?" he asked curiously with knitted brows
"ohh so you are appreciating me hmm?" she cocked one brow "and by the way there is no need of einstein brain to figure out what's cooking in that pea sized brain of yours" she teased him
"hmm all sassy haan really impressed" and with that both started laughing
"waise aap se milne ke liye bahut papad belne padte hai hume aur aap hai ki es nachiz ki koi parwah hi nahi hai" he wiped his fake tears
"bas bas aap ka ye drama band kariye aur jaldi chaliye mujhe di se milna hai" preeti rubber her hands excitedly
"are haan haan mil lijiyega lekin pehle hamare sath do char baate to kar lijiye" he teased her chickily
"achha to janab ko humase do char bate karani hai?" she sniggered and he nodded excitedly still eyes focused on road "thik hai" she shrugged and sinked comfortably into her sit
That was it for pushkar who quickly turned car to her favorite pastry shop to steal some alone more to say romantic time with her

Sumo was busy in kitchen with nirmala and kamini when preeti and pushkar came in
"Diii" preeti shrieked and dashed toward her only to get startled with a bone crushing hug
"Preeti tu yaha kaise? i mean kaise aayi? sab thik to hai na?" sumo was euphoric by preeti's sudden visit but at the same she was worried too due her sudden unannounced visit
preeti broke hug and replied with glee "are di sab thik hai woh to muze aapki yaad aa rahi thi to aunty ne bola ki mein aa jau aur waise ek aur baat hai..." preeti trailed off which made sumo raised a brow in question "baat yeh hai ki koi jiju ke jane ke baad unko bahut miss kar raha hai" preeti said dramatically and sumo narrowed her eyes toward nirmala who was admiring them till now suddenly started avoiding her gaze which didn't took a second for her to find out who was the traitor
"maa?" sumo groused
"are meine kuch nahi kaha woh to tiwariji bol rahe the ki preeti tumhe yaad kar rahi thi" nirmala's tried to cover up and gestured preeti not to add insult to injury
kamini quickly took charge of the situation and changed topic "aur tum bhi na suman puttar yeh kya lekar baithi ho preeti ko room me le jao gappe maro lekin jaldi ready hoke aa jao dinner ke liye"
"ji chachi mein preeti ko apne kamre me lekar jati hu" sumo and preeti was about to leave when vandy came into the kitchen
"aur haan maa hum log aaj dinner ke baad ice cream party karenge preeti ki aane ke khushi me" vandy chirped
"haan maa i second bhabhi please pretty please aaj ice cream party karte hai na" sumo too seconded vandy excitedly
preeti being unknown to this crazy family celebration habits was looking in between all 4 malhotra ladies like lost puppy, sumo deciphered her confusion "are yeh hum malhotra's ke ghar ka tradition hai jab bhi hum log khush hote hai to icecream ke sath celebrate karate hai" sumo cleared her confusion with content smile as if she got something which filled void in her life when she mentioned about family tradition and preeti gave a understanding nod
kamini and nirmala exchanged a known look "aaj lag raha hai ki suman ab humari ho gayi hai puri tarah se" kamini commented turning sumo's face into scarlet "thik hai aaj preeti ke aane ki khushi me ice cream party" kamini declared
"yeye aaj ish cleam milega bhaiya" eti clapped while jumping like a cute bunny
"uff ye ladkiya bhi na icecream ke piche pagal rehti hai" ehan slaped his forehead on his sister's over excitement
sumo kneeled down to reach eti's height "eti baby ek kaam karate hai hum log na ehan ko ice cream nahi denge thik hai" sumo said to eti to tease ehan which worked perfectly
his eyes widened after hearing suman's comment "are no no chachi when i said mujhe nahi chahiye" he protested quickly with shock written all over his face
"no no bhaiya apne bola na ladkiya iash clream ke piche pagal rehti hai" eti pouted cutely wile keeping her hands on hips
"correct baby" sumo seconded her and which leads to new monster fight on two cute monsters with sumo supporting eti and all stared them with admiration

After dinner as planned all clan gathered in backyard for ice cream party.
All were chit chatting with each other happily except one who was missing her friend in disguise of fake husband badly but still managed to keep facade of being happy with them
Ramnath was enquiring about nanu to preeti and others were busy with each other when suddenly lalaji butted in "bas shravan ki kami hai, agar woh hota to hum logo ko kulfi bhi khane milati" and sumo's face dropped
everyone noticed her and decided not to start any conversation regarding him "are suman beta preeti thak gayi hogi aur kal tumhara office bhi to hai na tum log jao so jao late ho gaya hai" nirmala tried to change topic
"lekin maa yaha sab aise hi kaise chod ke jau?" sumo protested hesitantly

Soon all retired to their room except nirmala and ramnath "Ram suniye na" ramanth who was busy in his phone checking next day schedule shifted all his attention after hearing her concerned voice "mujhe dar lag raha hai"
ramnath frowned after hearing her concerned "kya baat hai nirmala kis baat ka dar lag raha hai tumhe" he asked her seriously
"muze aisa kyu lag raha hai suman aur shravan ke bich kuchh tension chal rahi hai..." ramanath stared her silently and tried to understand her worry "aapko pata hai shravan jab se gaya hai usne ek baar bhi suman se baat nahi ki hai"
"are tumhe nahi pata hoga woh directly tumhe thodi na batayenge" ramnath stated as matter of fact
"are nahi meine notice kiya hai suman ke ankho me, usaki ankhon me wo bekakari saf saf dikh rahi hai, nayi nayi shadi huyi hai aur yeh ladka aise bina bataye chala gaya hai aur to aur jane se pahale use bataya bhi nahi bichari ko to tab pata chala jab usne mujhe call kiya, i am really pissed off on his this irresponsible behaviour ram" nirmala was foaming at the mouth with shravans negligence
"lekin nirmala hum log unke har baat me aise interfere nahi kar sakate hai, har chiz ke liye force karna thik nahi hai, yeh unake bich ki baat hai we have to provide them that space and privacy" ramanath said thoughtfully
"lekin hum log parents hai unake problems ko aise dekh ke andekha bhi to nahi kar sakte hai na" nirmala put forward her worry "ek to en logone honeymoon jane ke liya mana kar diya aise karenge to ek dusare ke kareeb kab aayenge? yahi to samay hota hai ek dusare ko janane aur samazane ka" nirmala huffed in irritation "muze pura yakeen hai yeh sab bahane baji apke bete ki hi kartut hogi"
ramnath frowned "wah yeh sahi hai galti kare to mera beta aur achha kare to humhara" and now shraman was long forgotten episode and here started new cure bickering of them

preeti and suman changed in night wears and settled on bed, preeti was excitedly inquiring about shravan "di jiju se baat to hui hongi aapki kab tak london me rahne wale hai?"
"mujhe kya pata, jaise mujhe har din call karta hai" sumo murmured through gritted teeths
"huh? kuch bola di aapne?" preeti stared her confusingly
"are kuch nahi woh ek week bola tha usne thoda kaam me busy hai na koi important case hai to shayad thode din aur lagenge" sumo shrugged "kam me busy hai ya gori memo me kise pata?" she murmured under breath
"hmm, waise di aap jiju ko bahut miss kar rahi hai na?" preeti inquired inoscently
"hmm..."sumo replied absentmindedly
"aww so cute, ek kam kariye na aap unako call kariye aur baat kariye waise abhi to din hoga na waha?" preeti suggested excitedly by sitting on folded knees
"kya?" sumo shrieked though she intensely wanted to have at least a casual conversation with him but still she cant call him like that only it was debarred in their relationship
"kya kya di call kariye jiju ko?" preeti handed her phone and gestured to call
"are i mean ke woh abhi court me hoga aise kaise mein use call karu, aur waise bhi sham me baat hui thi meri?" by now sumo became pro in liying
"aww so cure jiju bhi aap se baat kiye bina nahi rah sakate na? bahut pyar karate hai jiju aap se di?" preeti stared her in admiration...Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
sumo stared her intendly she was tongue tied by her little sis question what a irony they need to flaunt their love when there was clearly nothing at all at least till now...

"actually di aapko kaise pata chala ki woh jiju hi hai jis insan ke sath aapko apni puri zindagi bitani hai i mean apane 73 ladko ko mana kiya fir unhe haan kaha to what exactly you felt which made your decision to marry him?" preeti asked her sister query which was nagging her from long time to decide if she have any future in the trysts she was having with pushkar
Preeti's question took her unawares , she got a lot on her mind and their first meet played in her mind as a film about their agreement for marriage and whole contract marriage what she can tell preeti when she herself don't have a slightest inkling of about all this stuff
"umm...umm preeti tu bhi na kya kya puchate rahati hai?" sumo chided trying to avoid her questions
"di aapko kya ho gaya?" preeti narrowed her eyes skeptically on her sisters behaviour it was strange or kinda weird for her
sumo squirmed under her gaze and got alarmed "ohh nothing it's just that you suddenly asked thats it, but tell me one thing why you want to know haa? someone is there ?" sumo quickly changed topic by teasing her and luckily preeti was not that much quick to grasp that
"are di no it's nothing like i have some in my life now" preeti shrugged but a slight blush crept on her face when pushkar's thought crossed her mind "but if i will have someone then how i will decide that he is the one or not?" preeti asked her frankly, yes it was true though their outlook of life were different but they never hesitate to share anything with each other, they were like friends more that sisters
"hmm...sach bolu preeti there is nothing like love at first sight or you will fall for each other in one meeting..."she trailed off when her eyes stuck on their marriage picture kept on night stand, nirmala specially selected that photo even after sumo's denial saying they are looking like made for each other and so happy in that photo
she continued "but when you keep meeting that person you will find that connection and your heart will tell you that yes he is the special one, you know when you will miss those silly fights on small small things or those teasing which irritates shit out of you but still you will miss that when he won't be around you, when he will say something to you even though its a stupidest thing you might have came across but still you will accept that and there at that time your heart will tell you yes he is the special one, uski har ek baat yaad aayegi tumhe " unknowingly she ended up baring her heart to preeti which was telling her that he is the one for her

"di you really miss jiju a lot naa?" preeti just voiced out the longing which was clear in her sisters eyes
"hmmm..." she just hummed with a slight nod and finally her mind also agreed with her heart by settling an argument started on the very first day of his departure. Though it was only few week for their marriage but their was not a single day excluding one or two incidents they ended up having some random chat on one or the other topic from the day their alliance fixed

In London at same time
Shravan have been very busy from the day he came to london, Mr. Blake King was among the one of his very reputed clients and case was the complicated one, so he ended up working straight 3 days around the clock since it was not at all acceptable to loose case when you have one of the best astute lawyer defending your case and on the other hand it turned out as a real big challenge for him but then his hard work paid off and he wrapped up such a complicated case in mere one weeks of time.
So last night Mr. King invited him for the celebration party at his house and he ended up coming late in the night. It was almost noon when Eric's call wake him up
"Hey buddy whats up" Eric asked as soon as shravan replied to call
"Hello to you too" shravan mocked in his hoarse morning voice
"ahh...hey man still in the bed not fair" Eric whined
"Last night was long man, returned very late" shravan replied still on bed with sleepy eyes
"hmm can see that, but you better get you asses out of that bed fast and come here you know someone is waiting for you from a week and i can't give more reasons now, your monster will kill me man only you can save me" eric was such a drama queen in making fuss
shravan rolled his eyes "oh drama queen don't say a single word against her otherwise i will kill you before she get her hands on you" shravan warned him but shook his head on erics complain he very well aware that it's true if he will not meet her now then she will definitely murder Eric
"oh really like..." Eric started but shravan was quick to cut him off
"yeah got you no need whine like a baby i will be there in 30" he quickly glanced digital clock kept on night stand which was showing 11.50 AM "we'll have lunch together and then you will be free from us for next 3 days" shravan replied hurriedly while moving toward the washroom
"you better act fast bye will see you then" eric warned him
"yes buddy and thank you bye" shravan was really thankful to him for taking her care in his absence
"you're welcome bye" with that they ended call
Shravan quickly completed his morning business followed by a quick shower and get ready to meet her, his eyes gleamed obviously as he was meeting her after almost 6 months, last time he managed to give a quick visit when she was not well
Shravan went to their regular dining place and waited for Eric and her, he was sitting on his table shuffling through the menu when he heard a baby girl voice "papa..." shravan turned there she was standing holding Erics hand all dolled up in yellow frock, hairs was done in two small ponytails looking as a fresh sunflower, her eyes were twinkling with happiness with the wide smile on her face
shravan got up from his seat and kneeled down opening his arms for her and that was it for her, she ran recklessly toward him and wrapped her tiny winy arms around his neck "papa i mish you so much" shravan embraced her completely in his arms
"papa missed his princess too baby" he closed his eyes with the feeling of contentment and kissed on her hair, they stayed like that embracing each other for don't how much time with shravan kissing on hairs in between
shravan tried to broke hug when he felt wetness in his shoulder but she was not ready to leave him as if he will vanish the moment she will let him go "Urvi baby papa is here what happen, eric did something?" shravan caressed her hairs and tried to calm her
he felt negative nod on his neck "prinshes missed her papa so much, papa chale jayenge firse" she wheezed at his neck due to crying, at that moment he felt so helpless and remorseful for leaving her everytime by giving false hopes that they will be together soon and he won't leave her which was not at all possible soon
"I have completely fallen for you. Everything you do, everything you say , everything you are. You're my first thought in the morning, you are my last thought before I fall asleep, and you're almost every thought in between."
