let me ask you...what if u forget to lock ur house and a thief gets in and steals ur valuables...who is the victim here?? You are ...or just because u were careless gave that thief the right to rob ur house??

People asking such questions probably do not know about marital rape...u don't have to go anywhere...u can be in the bed with ur husband and if u say no...any attempt to have sex after that is considered rape..the law is very clear on what constitutes an assault.

Tsk tsk but where is no here ? She asked him to slow down means she wanted it but the way he is grabbing and kissing makes her uncomfortable but not otherwise ! This is not sexual assault ! The case is dismissed !!

This is not sexual assault by any f**king stretch of the imagination.
I feel sorry for all the real sexual assault victims out there, they don't deserve to be mocked in such a brutal manner by clowns like this Grace.

People calling this sexual assault need to learn the first textbook definition of the term.
Ansari did not force himself upon her, she had sex with him of her own will, and then watched TV together and he called her an Uber. She had no problems having sex with him, just didn't like the way he went about it.

Do you purposely not read other posts to suit your agenda and bias? She didn't say no when she did he stopped and called her an uber

My agenda...why the hell would I have any agenda on this?? Its my opinion on this article...You were very happily liking my posts when I was defending that guy who was called a pedophile by Zaira...and just because our opinions don't match on this...all of a sudden I have agenda and bias??..sharafat ke saath defend nahi karna aata hai apne perspective ko??
BTW this is from the article...what does this say??even after he got the message he continued with his actions..

The woman says Ansari doesn't know if he got the message, but when it eventually registered she said he said, "Of course, it's only fun if we're both having fun."

She says Ansari continued to push himself on her.

Anita Hill was the one who accused Clarence Thomas of sexual misconduct. Look what happened to her. The victim's name is erased, but the perpetrator prevails.

Things didn't change overnight. The road to equality is a long weary road. We are here today not because of a miracle, but because of the courage and tireless persistence of people over the decades who spoke up despite being silenced.

It is unfortunate how Clinton's allegations were dealt with. But liberals have not always spared their own. Look at the careers of Eliot Spitzer, Anthony Weiner, and Al Franken. And some conservatives did display their conscience when it came to Roy Moore.

Please let's not make this a political, liberal, or conservative issue - but treat it as a human issue.

===================================================================

Of course It shouldn't be made political, it should be a human issue but sadly the reality is anything but

The only reason this is happening is political, they're using it as a political weapon

If Hillary Clinton had won the election, HW and Harvey Weinstein scandals would never have been exposed
(He was a major donor, fundraiser for democrats, close friend of Clintons and Obamas)

There certainly would be no metoo movement

Now that the Clintons' political careers are over and weild no political influence, liberals from CNN to democratic senators and others are saying probably we should never have supported Clinton, should've believed his victims... How convenient!

Now they're saying any women should be believed, all we need is a single tweet from them about something that happened 10-30-50 yrs ago without a single proof and the man is guilty! Bcz women never lie?

It's all part of their narrative 😛

Justice Thomas still prevails bcz they couldn't prove the allegations against him despite their best efforts, despite the public lynching (his words) And before that JFK and Lyndon Johnson's numerous scandals were never even reported by the media despite it being common knowledge
So you are right things have changed

(And didn't to they try to arrest Rose McGowan on drug chargers, hope they were not trying to silence her)

As much as I dislike him and think he has no business being in the US senate and his election itself was fraudulent but still think

Al Franken was democratically elected by the people, he should never have resigned.. The charges against him were flimsy (in no way sexual assault or harassment or predatory behavior)

But that 's exactly the point.

(They also thought Roy Moore would win, so he wouldn't have to resign 😛)

They're building a narrative to claim moral high ground and show conservatives in poor light

They want to say "See we have zero tolerance policy when it comes to sexual harassment

Our guys resign for smallest of offenses while your top guys (read: The president) are still in power"

(Btw Conservatives have not been spared either, they have resigned for much less offenses than those of the Spitzer and Weiners...)
