TFS, I really enjoyed hearing this conversation. I especially liked how attentive Anushka was to Rani, listening to her very carefully - I've seldom seen Anushka so interested / in awe of another actress. I agreed with Rani's assessment on Anushka's best roles being RNBDJ, Band Baaja Baraat and NH10 - BBB is still probably Anushka's best role for me, she played the cute and 'bubbly' ambitious girl-next-door role very well.
Rani was good here (I didn't enjoy her other conclave interview in Calcutta at all - she seemed v defensive there for some reason)- the interview was mostly about her struggle into films and how some films have changed her, like Black, and working with Mani Ratnam etc but I enjoyed her take on how stardom was in her prime v/s stardom today -being prepped for everything including PR, clothes, airport looks etc... having grown up in the 90s, a lot of the glamour seems so artificial that I long for the simpler time when we didn't know so much / be so exposed to the stars' lives that they lose their so-called charm.
