Hello forumwasis,
Since thriller shows keep me hooked to them especially when the male leads are drool-worthy.😛😛 I can't help myself from typing this post.
Warning: It's a long post, but do peep in to know further.
Earlier I said that story is like Race movie but after watching few more episodes & learning that this is a love-triangle thriller kind of story and watching interviews of cast during the promotion, here is an alternate version to how this story might turn out to be.
This might be Haasil theme for Ranvir actually. For Kabir it might be simple revenge first & repent later kind of thing. For Anchal it might be heartbroken first & revenge after & love again theme with Kabir. Unless Aanchal has ulterior motive to play along the brother to get her motive, the story will actually see Ranvir as the villain in the long term.
Ranvir won't be the person to break Aanchal's heart but he might definitely be the one loving her obsessively since he already has one-sided infatuation with her.
At present, the scenario is-
1. Ranveer as of now loves Aanchal. He acts cool but there is more to what eyes see behind this calm persona of his. At the same time, he loves Kabir too.
2. Aanchal as of now considers both brothers her friends & reaching a conclusion that they might not be that bad as it appears to be. (Unless she has some hidden agenda too)
3. Kabir, a spoilt brat, blinded in his brother's love would do anything to avenge Ranvir's insult done by Aanchal, even if that means crossing some quintessential limits of marrying her.
So, this is how story can proceed-
1. Aanchal & Kabir grow more close than Ranvir & Aanchal without Ranvir realizing that Aanchal has actually fallen in love with Kabir.
2. When Ranvir decides to propose to Aanchal, Aanchal might reveal her feelings for Kabir or he somehow comes to know of Kabir & Anchal & they deciding to get married and be heartbroken terribly. But Ranvir decides to put on a happy face for the happiness of his brother & Anchal who he loves the most. Ranvir is still good & Kabir the bad guy yet.
3. Anchal & Kabir get to spend more time amidst the rituals. But Kabir is still on the revenge mode while Anchal grows to love Kabir genuinely.
4. And as per Kabir's plan, he ditches her on the wedding alter. Meanwhile, neither Anchal nor Kabir yet know about Ranvir's romantic feelings for Anchal because he never confesses them.
5. To save Anchal from disgrace & since he still loves her, Ranvir marries Anchal in the very same alter leaving everyone shell-shocked.
6. Ranvir hopes that Anchal might grow to love him someday, but by now, Anchal decides to get back to Kabir for insult done to her & her family by showing to Kabir that she is actually happy with Ranvir.
7. Kabir meanwhile might be distraught at failure of his plan & the fact that Anchal will be above her now since she is married to his brother. Aanchal might do things to teach Kabir a lesson.
8. Anchal might act to be in love with Ranvir meanwhile. Ranvir happy, Kabir troubled but Anchal doing it to get back at Kabir.
9. Meanwhile, miraculously, Kabir genuinely realizes his mistake & falls in love with Anchal & begins to win her back. So, he does nasty things to break Ranvir & Anchal. Till here Kabir is the villain & Ranvir the hero because AanVir might have those sparks of romance. But Aanchal still not able to forget Kabir.
10. After few attempts of Kabir, Anchal finally gives in to Kabir's attempts & decides to get back to him for old times. Ranvir who by now thought that Anchal began to love him might be in shock after learning that Anchal still loves Kabir. Kabir might ask Ranvir for forgiveness & marry Anchal genuinely. So, after learning about duo's feelings for each other from Anchal & Kabir, Ranvir once again will be left heartbroken but this time he will feel cheated.
And that's the U-Turn of the story.
11. Even after learning everything, Ranvir decides to be good for Kabir & Anchal but actually has revenge plan in his mind to break both. Ranvir by this time might turn an obssessive-psycho lover who wants to get Aanchal at all cost.
12. Ranvir decides to be good in front of everyone to avoid suspicion but has ulterior motives.
13. Kabir saves Anchal from lot of things. Ranvir to instigate Anchal about Kabir indirectly, thus not allowing both of them to get together. By this time Ranvir will be the villain and Kabir be the hero.
Both the brothers finally broken apart & lot of family secrets might be revealed. Final twist in the tale might be Anchal playing both of them all along for her own benefits which are still under-wrapped.
And that's how story moves forward.
I might be wrong but I can't see any other way this story might progress since it is no property drama & mostly the love drama.
Besides there are too many symbolism that hint that story will actually turn this way.
Symbolism 1- Aanchal's mother wanting Aanchal to marry Ranvir because he appears to be a Dharmatma to everyone.
Symbolism 2- Zayed in one of his interview said that Ranvir is the character that "Audience will love to hate & hate to love" & Vatsal saying that he is not playing a negative character on this show.
Symbolism 3- Aanchal imagining Ranvir to be psychotic in her dream when he said he liked to kill people. I think Ranvir really has that side to his character that originally appears to be calm.
Symbolism 4- Isabella saying to Aanchal- I have seen Ranvir's dark side & believe me, you don't want to see that.
Symbolism 5- Ranvir's nature is all about to be good to those who upholds his trust & not betray him at any point. Trust for him is the core value for his existence & of those who exist with him.
Symbolism 6- Kabir saying "Ye ldki hmare beech bht badi wali problem karwayegi Bade." What else can be bigger problem than 2 brothers falling for the same girl.
Symbolism 7- Ranvir is already too possessive about Aanchal. Many scenes have hinted to that. Be it the one at beach when some random guy hits at her. Or Ranvir learning about Kabir & Anchal gone for Scuba diving, Him seeing Kabir & Aanchal getting out of changing room together & asking Kabir about it. Warning Kabir about not sharing his girlfriend & Finally his face when Kabir interrupted the moment when he was gifting Aanchal the bracelet.
So, Ranvir is not all goody-goody guy as seen till now. He will be loving in the beginning. Kabir & Anchal might have way more sparkling chemistry then AanVir. And Kabir's bad nature & Ranvir's good one at the time being will make the audience love him & hate this fact.
But in future, when he turns obsessive & do terrible stuff, audience will love to hate him & hail Kabir as real Hero.
Because for a character like a Ranvir to be all positive & Kabir to be all negative, this isn't possible & there is no thrill in that. Thrill is the good one turning bad to Haasil what he wants. Besides Ranvir doesn't appear to be the kind of guy who forgives, forgets & move on. If betrayed, he will unleash the hell on that person since he values Trust the utmost.

PS- I am more of AanVir fan, so imagining this is heartbreaking for me because I am more inclined to Ranvir kind of guy. Even in Beyhadh, I thought Maya was not all psychotic but CVs proved me wrong & I didn't like that show after that.
