Hrithik Roshan spoke about his divorce in his latest interview.

Hrithik Roshan today explained his side of the story in the Kangana Ranaut controversy, during an interview with a leading channel. We know that Hrithik announced his separation from his wife of 17 years, Sussanne Roshan in 2014. The news had then taken Bollywood by storm. Today, when he was asked if the divorce was due to the Kangana factor, Hrithik totally denied it.

Hrithik said, "Absolutely not. Sussanne has been very very vocal about this. She has been very vocal. And I feel like laughing at people. When people get divorced, it is not always because of infidelity by the man. That is just such a small minded assumption. I am just trying to say that there are many reasons why people would like to live separate lives. Infidelity is just one of them. So the general assumption was, 'Ah he is the superstar, he must have done something wrong. She must have caught him..' That is not the case. We are great friends. It is between us. The reason that we decided to live separately may have been an inspiring reason, how do you know?

Hrithik and Sussanne often holiday together with their sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan. They are also often spotted spending quality time together in the city.

Why is he bringing up his divorce period in his interviews ?

The more he will bring up past , where he was negatively portrayed , the more it will look like he is just taking advantage of the situation and portraying himselff someone who can do no wrong .

I don't like it , after all his wife went through all the mudslinging at that time and he is bringing it up again now ...why 😕

S cheating is not the only reason for divorce. it could be anything. They are still happy as friends which is better than superstars cheating hard core and yet wives doing drugs but not divorcing.

He should shut up! He didn't even speak at that time when there was so much mudslinging about both of them...He just came up with that stupid tweet and then didn't say anything (as far as I know) when his wife was constantly questioned...

I don't understand why he has to justify his divorce to other people. It's between him and Susanne. Unke beech mein he rehne do!

Divorce it's a v personal thing and not an easy choice to make esp when you have two kids. I'm sure they both had their reasons and it's perfectly fine if they keep them private.

He was specifically asked if Kangna had anything to do with his divorce (as articles since 2016 have suggested because of her lies) and he answered. He has had to answer lots of personal questions and justifications for his response because of her lies while she has never been asked for proof and her PR is busy trying to prove they attended intimate parties for 100 people so must have known each other "socially ".

This is exactly the issue i have with him for bringing this issue up now 🤔

when his wife was accused of infidelity/drugs/affairs ...did he say the same thing at that time too ?

Considering he couldnt stop these rumors about Kangana, I'm not sure how you think he could have stopped them about Sussanne. Anyway he certainly made it clear he loved her and wanted to stay married to her (hardly what someone who wanted people to think she was an adulterous druggie would say). In his much ridiculed Facebook post announcing the separation, he wrote:Sussanne is and always will be the love of my life for the rest of my life.

During divorce proceedings when scores of negative articles were being published he tweeted: Fabricated news articles. Demeaning my loved ones. Testing my patience.

He tweeted at that time too when the arjun mess was at its peak. He said it was all false.

He didn't bring this up. You people on this forum, Twitter, Facebook: they all bought it up. He answered every allegation thrown at him. And that's the problem. If you are silent its an admission of guilt. If you speak up , you are lying so should "just shut up". So why do you say "He should speak up" if you don't have the guts or strength of mind to listen.

The words he spoke at the very start of these interviews, to arnab and his open letter are proving to be accurate to the last t. People say he is philosophical. I say very few have such a reflective thought process.
