I have been saying it from the beginning even when her own fans were cheering her during the Simran promotions phase when she was going from pillar to post, taking every platform that she could and talking about anything but Simran! If you haven't watched SIMRAN, pay close attention to "Thanks" list in the beginning. You'll see the name of Manikarnika producers. 😉

No one does anything to HARM their own movie (especially after her earlier disaster Rangoon). Let's not kid ourselves. 😆

SIMRAN didn't work commercially... because of its niche treatment, unconventional protoganist and weak screenplay. But she got her GLOWING REVIEWS.⭐️

We all know that in the end all movies are on their own - WOM dependent.

Simran's outcome wouldn't be any different... if she played Ms. Congeniality too during the promotions. 😆

Directing would mean to struggle again and start from the beginning... but she's ready for it. There is a closet director in her which manifests into creative conflicts and blind items. 😆
